Sam and Colby both laughed hysterically, feeling the alcohol flow through their veins fiercely as they finished their third drink. It was a Friday night, and both Sam and Colby were extremely happy as they'd somehow managed to get into the bar. Sam was already twenty-one but Colby wasn't, still twenty as he looked twelve. Colby was dying to get into a bar, wanting to experience it for the first time with his boyfriend, Sam. Fortunately, Sam and Colby were both open about their relationship, and most of their fans supported it without a doubt as they all called it from the start.
"Hey, could you get me a tequila shot? Actually- wait, two?" Colby asked the bartender, a goofy grin on his face as his eyes watered from all the laughing. The waiter nodded, Colby turning back to Sam with a smirk on his face. "Dude, I'm drunk as shit!.." Colby slurred, over-expressing himself as Sam laughed whole-heartedly, his chuckle erupting in Colby's ears angelically as Colby fell for him even more.
"Don't sweat it. It's your first time, dude. Just chill and enjoy it!" Sam said with a smile, speaking from experience from his first time. "Trust me, dude. When Corey brought me here, it was an absolute shit show, dude! I was throwing up everywhere!" Sam said, chuckling while Colby laughed. The waiter placed the shots in front of Sam and Colby silently, smiling at them as a 'your welcome'. Sam thanked the waiter nicely, taking the shot in his hand before smiling. "Cheers to your first time drinking!" Both of Sam and Colby's shots clinked together, cheering as they took the shot.
Colby coughed, downing the shot in one go as he hit his chest gently. "God, that was strong!" Colby said, laughing lightly. Sam nodded, furrowing his brows at the strong taste of the tequila, swallowing the drink before placing the empty glass down on the counter.
"Compared to the Spirtyus, this is nothing!" Sam exclaimed, remembering the first time he took a shot with Corey, which was the strongest one the bar had. Colby laughed, nodding as he didn't actually understand the pain of that shot. It was one of the strongest shots Sam had ever had, the bitter taste of the alcohol almost as distracting as the fizz.
A few minutes later, Colby was becoming tired, wanting to go home and snuggle up with Sam. "Hey, Sam? You think the roommates are home?" Colby asked, resting his head on Sam's shoulder, his eyes closing peacefully as people cheered, someone scoring a goal on the television. Sam hummed, thinking about Colby's question for a second as he tried remembering the roommate's plans.
"Not sure... Why?" Sam asked, already having a hunch but wanting to make sure of it before he jumped to conclusions. Colby sighed against his shoulder, shifting as he snuggled into Sam's neck instead.
"Tired..."Colby murmured against Sam's neck, wrapping his arms around his shoulders gently and comfortably as he enjoyed his warmth. Sam chuckled, nodding in understanding as he got what Colby meant by that, he, himself, was also slightly tired from all of the alcoholic beverages.
"Alright, then... Let's go, baby," Sam said gently, grabbing his wallet and tipping the waiter before returning his focus to Colby. Colby's head rose from Sam's neck, blinking as he tried getting used to the bright lights. Sam got up from the stool, helping Colby down as he was quite wobbly with his movements. Sam wrapped an arm around his waist, glaring at the men who stared at Colby sexually as they walked through the building. The fresh air hit their faces nicely, and the December feeling in Los Angeles was nice sometimes. Colby shivered lightly, him being in a white tee wasn't the best option. Sam chuckled, seeing the poor brunette shiver. "You cold?"
Colby shook his head, trying to pretend he was fine. Sam sighed, scoffing jokingly as he took off his sweater, handing it to Colby with a smile. "Here, love," Sam said, offering Colby his sweater softly.
"Thanks, baby," Colby thanked him, his words still slightly slurred but not as bad as before. Colby slid his arms through one at a time, snuggling into the warmth as it smelled like Sam. "I love you," Colby whispered, feeling an arm wrap around his waist comfortingly once again. Sam chuckled, kissing Colby's forehead.
"I love you too, Colby," Sam said, continuing to walk down the streets of Los Angeles comfortably, the cold air hitting their faces perfectly. Everything was wholesome, their life being amazing as they finally confessed to each other. It had been on Sam's birthday when they got together, so, it was around a month ago. Everything was perfect. Sam loved Colby and Colby loved Sam.
What could ruin their night?
A muscular man in his near thirties leaned on a wall, lighting his cigarette as he stared at the young boys coming his way. Sam and Colby were both smiling, Sam holding Colby close as the wind blew across their faces. The man groaned, seeing the young couple so naive and... "Fucking faggots..." The man muttered under his breath as Sam and Colby both walked past. Sam stopped abruptly, picking up on the man's words as he felt blood rush through him. Colby's brows furrowed, not hearing the man's statement as he wondered what Sam was doing.
"Sam?-"
"What did you say?" Sam asked, glaring at the male with piercing eyes. The man chuckled darkly, leaning off of the wall and standing up, his hands in his pockets as he was taller than both of them. The man walked closer, a few feet in front of them as he smoked his cigarette, his eyes full of nothing but disgust and hatred. He smirked, eyeing Colby up and down before saying,
"Nothing, it's just you're... both faggots. Especially pretty boy over there, he looks like he would bend over for the right person," The man said, smirking as he looked at Colby with a disgusted but predatory look on his face. Sam's brows furrowed defensively as he looked at Colby, watching as Colby's head dropped, looking at the ground in shame.
"Stay here, baby," Sam whispered softly to Colby before turning to the other man, looking at him with hatred as he stepped closer. "What the fuck did you say to him?" Sam asked, not yet yelling but his voice raising protectively as his teeth clenched. The man chuckled, dropping his cigarette and stepping on it, crushing it to the ground as it sparked, the flame finally dying.
"Do I really have to repeat myself? Your boyfriend's a fucking twink!" The man said, his voice also raising but not a shout just yet. Sam clenched his teeth harshly, staring up at the man with clenched fists as he wanted to bash his head into the concrete desperately. Sam sighed, shaking his head.
"Don't talk to him like that..." Sam growled under his breath quietly. The man furrowed, looking down at Sam with a disgusted look as if he didn't hear him.
"I'm sorry, what, fag?" The man asked, smirking down at Sam with a daring gaze. Sam clenched his teeth, looking at the ground with his clenched teeth.
"I said... Don't fucking talk to him like that!" Sam shouted, his head rising up quickly as he slammed his fist against the man's cheek harshly, using a pure amount of force. The man gasped, feeling blood rush down his nose and mouth. The man used his hand to wipe at his nose, staring at the blood rushing from his nose.
"Sam!" Colby called out from behind him worriedly, watching the man try to pounce on Sam. Fortunately, Sam was quick, dodging the punch that was made for him and punching the man square in the jaw. The man fell back with a smack, his head hitting the wall as his body slid down it, falling to the ground unconsciously. Sam smirked, watching the man's body go limp as his breathing was shallow. "Sam, baby, are you okay?!" Colby cried, running up to him and wrapping his arms around his neck before cupping his cheeks, looking into his eyes hopefully. Sam chuckled while he nodded.
"I'm fine, baby. He was a douchebag, anyway. Couldn't even throw a proper punch," Sam taunted, smirking. Colby smiled, wrapping his legs around Sam's waist as Sam carried him in his arms comfortably, both of them hugging there.
"Goddamnit, Sammy... I love you, so, don't do stupid shit like that!" Colby joked, hiding his face in Sam's neck. Sam chuckled, nodding as he kissed the top of Colby's forehead gently, his heart fluttering at Colby's words.
"I love you too, Colbs,"
