(No one's pov)

They ended up finishing the packing the next morning because Jungkook passed out almost immediately after. Jungkook could barely move most of the time while they were packing but did his best. When they finished it was 11:45 and the airport was ten minutes away.

The two left the penthouse and drove to the airport while singing a song on the radio. It felt like a pretty short drive and Jungkook seemed to just get more sad as it went on. He didn't want Jimin to leave, they have gone so long without eachother in 6 years and he was scared.

Jimin saw how sad he looked and kissed Jungkook's hand to try and calm him down. Jungkook's bottom lip quivered and he shook his head a bit.

"It's going to be ok Koo." Jimin said. "Only going to be a month."

"It feels so long. You don't know how much I'm going to miss waking up next to you and seeing you everyday."

"I know. We'll call every day though, right?"

"Of course we will."

They pulled into the parking lot and got out of the car. People crowded them while they walked into the airport. Jungkook was able to push them off enough to walk without stepping on people. By the time they got there Jimin's flight was being called and he had to go.

Before Jimin left he turned back to give Jungkook a kiss. He had to, it was going to be the last time until he got back.

"I love you."

"I love you more Jimin-ssi."

Jungkook watched as Jimin left his sight and wiped a tear from his eye before leaving. He turned off the radio and drove to Taehyung's house while trying not to cry. He pulled into the driveway and got out of the car.

Jungkook knocked on the door and waited a bit until a kind of short girl opened the door. He got to get a good look at her and realized how pretty she was. Meanwhile she was basically jumping and screaming seeing him here.

"TaeTae come here!"

"Ok, what is it-"

Taehyung saw he was there and hugged him tightly.

"Ummm..who's she?"

"Oooh, sorry. This is my older sister, Taeyeon."

"Wait you know him!? You know THE Jungkook!? Why didn't you tell me you fuck!?"

"Didn't know if he wanted you to know. Plus if you payed attention to more than your friends in highschool you would have known him anyways."

"Oooooh ok~" She said, "so you're living with him for a month and that's why I am house-sitting."

"Well yes. Get me my suitcase."

"Since I'm excited you know him I will rise above how you said that to me."

Jungkook couldn't stop laughing once she left and Taehyung had to hold him to stop him from falling. Taehee came back and saw the way Taehyung was holding him. She got the hint that he liked Jungkook more than he should. But she also thought that Jungkook felt the same way based on his reaction.

Before they left Jungkook gave Taehee his number just in case something happened to Taehyung. The two left the house and started driving back to the penthouse. Jungkook handed Taehyung the aux cord so he could pick the song and just let him go.

They got back and Jungkook took him to the guest room so he could put his clothes away. He went into the office and leaned back to take a breath while waiting for Taehyung. A few minutes later Taehyung knocked on the door and walked in.

They worked on the collab for the next 3 hours without stopping and decided to take a quick snack break. Jungkook grabbed them a bag of chips and turned on the TV.

The both of them ended up watching TV for an hour. Jungkook ended up cuddling up next to Taehyung and almost fell asleep. Taehyung forgot about Jimin's existence and kissed the top of Jungkook's head. He saw Jungkook was asleep and decided to take him to his room to sleep.

Taehyung picked him up bridal style and carried him to his room. He laid him down on the bed and pulled the covers over him. Before he could leave the room Jungkook grabbed his hand.

"Stay...please.."

"Are you sure.."

"Yea..cuddles please."

"Ok, Ok. Just this one time, just because Jimin won't kill me for this."

Jungkook hugged around his waist and rested his head on Taehyung's chest. He voted annoyed because he wasn't getting hugged back and pulled Taehyung's arm over him. He went back to hugging him and closed his eyes.

Everytime Taehyung tried to pick up his hand Jungkook would grab it to put it back. It made him kind of happy to be completely honest, this is probably the closest they have ever been. Even while dating, Jungkook would always try to cuddle, but Taehyung would push him away. Now he was just moving his arm away to play with him.

He looked down at Jungkook's face and cooed at the sight. He decided to just fall asleep too, since he wasn't allowed to move after all. He kissed Jungkook's forehead and closed his eyes.

Jungkook woke up a few hours later and looked around the room. He saw Taehyung was fast asleep next to him and he looked so peaceful. Jungkook shook his head to recalibrate himself.

"He's a friend. Just a friend..."

Jungkook stared at him in silence and eventually moved on top of him. He looked around for a second and then gulped. He cleared his head and leaned in. Nothing big, they're just friends after all. Just a friendly kiss, nothing more.

What Jungkook didn't know what that Taehyung was awake. He had been since Jungkook climbed on top of him. He was shocked that Jungkook would do something like this, but he didn't want it to stop. He loved him more than he should and so he decided to pretend to be asleep. And failed.

He held the back of Jungkook's neck and pulled him closer. Jungkook jumped and pulled away. He tried to get up and leave but was held down.

"I'm sorry..." Jungkook mumbled. "I..I have to go...work.."

"We both have work, remember?"

"Well..."

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing.."

Taehyung sat up quickly and kissed Jungkook again. Jungkook quickly responded and pushed himself closer. They kept on going for who knows how long before Taehyung pulled away to breathe. He looked at the look on Jungkook's face and smirked.

"Wait...stop."

"Why, give me a good reason."

"Because it's not right...I'm with Jimi-"

"If you cared about it being right you wouldn't have kissed me in the first place."

"You're right.."

"Then shut up and kiss me."

"Ok..yea."

Jungkook leaned back in while Taehyung held his body close. Jungkook fit so perfectly in his arms that it made him wonder if he could get him back at all. Well Jungkook willingly kissed him so maybe there is a chance.

"Fuck...You've gotten good at this..."

"Yea...?"

Jungkook looked back at the clock and saw that they had 2 hours left to finish the next part. He tried to get up and pointed to the clock when he was held down. Eventually they both got up and went to the office. While working Taehyung's phone rang and he went to check it after Jungkook said he could.

'Hey, what's up.'

'Ok look, I know I said not to make any move on Kookie at all...but I'll allow you to be his cuddle buddy while I'm gone. I wasn't going to let you but he his scared of thunder and there will be a ton of storms. If he gets scared make sure to take care of him. Ok?'

'Yea, ok I got it. Cuddle him if he gets scared.'

'Yes, thank you Tae.'

He hung up the phone and went back to Jungkook who looked bored out of his mind. They both heard a loud noise outside making Jungkook jump. Taehyung went over to him and hugged him as tightly as he could. Jimin said to take care of him if he gets scared anyways.

Jungkook leans into it and continues working. He gripped Taehyung's hand the next time they heard it. Out of nowhere they heard rain start pouring and a loud burst of thunder, making the lights flicker. Jungkook looked around and back to Taehyung for comfort.

They finished the work and went downstairs to watch more of the show they started. While watching everything got louder and the lights just went out. Jungkook jumped into Taehyung's arms and clung to him.

"It's ok, you're safe. I'm here..."
