"What is streaming and why is it important that I do it?" Kallie held the phone to her face, on a group face time with Merida, Charles, and Lando as she walked throughout her house in Monaco. Normally she would be at her LA house, but Kaylen wanted to borrow the house to spend a day with Joey so she agreed to stay in her Monaco house. Besides, it would give her the opportunity to work on new music without interruptions.
As of now, Lando, Merida, and Charles were all trying to convince the singer to stream with them because the fans were requesting it. Kallie did have a set up in the house but it belonged to Kaylen and she honestly had no idea how to use it. She didn't even know how to tag people on Instagram posts so how could she use a stream? "I'm gonna pretend you didn't ask that. But seriously, my DMs are getting blown up with requests for you and your sister to join. Seeing as I don't really know Keziyah that well, you are way easier to convince." Lando says.
"That hurt, I won't lie. But I don't even know how to tag people on Instagram so how would I set up a Twitcher account?" She questioned with a frown, reaching into her fridge and grabbing a large bottle of water. Lando sighs, no matter how many times he corrected the name, she always called it "twitcher" instead. He just gave up at this point.
"Just use your brother's account. It's easy." Charles says, really wanting to get this on with.
"Babe, I hate to say it but Kallie can barely work a TV without a manual so how about, I send you her address, you go over and set it up for her? And while you do that, I will convince Kez to join us too. She'll only do it if Kallie is doing it." Merida says. Lando furrowed his brows for a split second at the name. "Uh, who are you calling babe?" Charles rolls his eyes, a smirk growing on his lips, "well, it's certainly not you."
"Whoa, since when did this happen then? It's only been a day?" Lando chuckles.
"It's not official. We're just testing things out, so don't run your big mouth and tell everyone." Charles said in a threatening tone, obviously joking with him but Lando did have a big mouth sometimes. "If we're being technical, your comments on social media don't really help your case." Lando shot back, getting a thumbs up of agreement from Kallie.
There was an loud knock from the front door, echoing the halls, making Kallie look up with a frown. "You expecting anyone?" Merida questions. Charles and Lando both looked a bit concerned, seeing Kallie shake her head. "I'm not expecting anyone and the front gate is supposed to be locked." She explains, walking down the hall when the knocks got a bit louder. "Stay on the phone. Don't answer the door. I'm on my way." Charles rushed out, grabbing his keys and running out of his house.
Kallie walked over to the monitor in the security room and switched it on, only to see it was Lewis at the door, looking a little annoyed. "Oh, it's just Lewis!" She chuckles. "I forgot he doesn't have my number."
Charles sighs in relief, climbing out of his car. "You almost gave me a heart attack."
Kallie runs to the door and pulls it open, Lewis sighs, immediately stepping inside and kicking off his shoes and jacket. "Crap. How long does it take to answer a door? It's boiling out there. I think I know what lobsters feel getting cooked alive." He expressed, setting the bag of food down on the table and cranking up her AC. "Sorry. I wasn't expecting you so I kind of freaked out. History with stalkers, ya know?" She said, practically forgetting that she was on a call.
"That wouldn't have been an issue if you had given me your number." He retorts, tying his braids up, two of them falling loose to frame his face.
"Are we interrupting something?" Lando spoke loudly, getting a glare from Merida and Charles who had gotten invested in whatever was happening. Kallie raised the phone back up, clearing her throat. "Nope. Sorry. Uh, is this Twitcher thing very important or can I take a rain check?" She asked, smiling as Lewis moved into the frame, waving at the drivers and model. "No, no, no raincheck! I just got Kezie to agree! You guys can have your date later! This is important! Do you know how rare it is for Kez to stream? Very rare! It's been months!" Merida exclaims.
"Okay geez! Fine." She huffs before turning to Lewis, the man still smiling at her which Lando wanted to comment on but kept it shut. "You don't mind if I stream with the guys, right?" Lewis shook his head, "no, I don't mind. I'll help you set everything up 'cause I know you struggle with technology if it isn't a music panel." He pats her arm, gaining laughs from the group whilst she frowned. "You guys are so mean. You know I didn't grow up with much technology!" She scoffs.
"Come on, Kal." Lewis picked up the food and walked upstairs, Kallie following close behind him as he walked into Kaylen's gaming room. Kallie just sat in the comfortable gaming chair as Lewis set everything up for her, questioning if she wanted headphones but she objected because she had sensitive ears right now. The medication was making everything a bit sensitive so she was hoping it wouldn't show on this stream. "Who taught you all this?" She questioned, holding her phone up on the desk as she was still on call.
"Kaylen." Lewis shrugs, sitting down on the other chair once he finished adjusting the camera.
"All right, I'm gonna hang up. We're gonna start in just a bit once everyone's here." Lando said getting a collective nod before he hung up the call.
Lewis turned to Kallie, "how are you feeling? You see Dr. Montgomery yet?" He asks. Kallie looked down at her thinner hands, honestly hating how he knew about it, but also somewhat grateful because it felt a bit comforting. "Next appointment isn't until a few days so we'll see how it goes. I doubt there's much progress." She shrugs lightly, glancing down at her bare stomach, her sweats were pulled just a bit above her scars so he couldn't see, otherwise you could still see the significant weight loss.
"Well, it always gets worse before it gets better. Here, I got you something." Lewis reaches into the bag, pulling out the drink that contained cannabis. "You said it helped with the pain, so I thought I'd get you some." He explains, handing her the bottle, a smile growing on his lips when her eyes brightened. "That's very thoughtful. Thank you."
"That's not the only thing. I was texting Kaylen and he said there was this taco truck that had the best burritos you loved, so got you one. I'm pretty sure it's steak." Lewis pulled out a big burrito wrapped in foil and handed off to an excited Kallie. "Oh my gosh. I was literally craving this. Thank you!" Kallie set it down on the table before wrapping her arms around Lewis, him not hesitating to hug her back.
"Well isn't this just the cutest thing." The two people jumped in surprise at the new voice, looking at the monitor that had the whole group on call. The group consisted of Lando, Charles, Carlos, Merida, Max, George, and Keziyah. The one who spoke was obviously Kezie. "Oh, it's you." Lewis rolls his eyes, getting a glare from the actress. "Mhm. Remove those grimy little hands off my sister before I cut them off." She threatened.
"Why don't you worry about your internet scandals instead, huh?" He shot back, gaining a few laughs from the group besides Lando who was still freaking out about Keziyah being on his screen and actually speaking in real time.
"Oh yeah? The one with your sister or brother?" She smirks, getting loud laughs from the whole group, even Kallie had to stiffle a laugh. Lewis just scowled at her, leaning back in his chair and flipping her off. "I thought you guys argued on the internet for attention but wow, it's actually real." Lando says, laughing lightly. "You think this is new? You should've seen her threaten him with utensils awhile back." Carlos adds, getting a nod from Max.
"It's true. I was a witness." Max rebutted.
Lewis rolls his eyes, quite annoyed with Max ever since Kallie told him they had made up, "okay, I think we get it. Can we please move on?"
"Whoa, not too much on Max. We're friends again." Kezie defends, getting a small smile from the Red Bull driver. "Let's just start this game or whatever before you two start going back and forth again, okay?" Kallie says, getting back on track, everyone adds words of agreement. Lando started the stream and almost immediately people started rolling in, a ton of new people joining them to see Kallie, Kezie, and Merida.
"What game are we playing?" Kallie asks, taking a big bite of her burrito, Lewis enjoying his vegan one a few ways next to her, still in the camera frame. Fans were quick to comment on that, immediately jumping to conclusions. "I figured since you're new to this, Kallie, we would go for an easier game. So I decided on Among Us. Kaylen said you'd never played it yet." Lando answered, the chat filled with positive feedback on the game choice.
"That sounds fun. I think I seen Kez play it once but I never really paid much attention." Kallie responds, moving to the side so Lewis could put on the game for her as she didn't know what to do. Of course the chat made comments on that. The group was chatting about, joining a private room as Lewis explained the game to Kallie, the singer listening to him intently. "So basically, I'm a little alien who kills people?" She queried.
"That's if you're the imposter," Lewis said. "Oh okay. This sounds fun. I hope I get imposter." Kallie cheers before taking a sip of her drink. "You can choose your outfit here." Lewis moved to lean back into his chair, letting Kallie take over. She giggles as she picked the baby blue color with a banana as a hat. "This is so cute."
Merida had picked the pink color with a witch hat. Lando had picked the neon green color with a party hat. Charles picked red with a witch hat to match Merida. Carlos picked dark green with a detective hat. George picked brown with a plunger as a hat for whatever reason. Keziyah picked purple with a knife as a hat and Lewis made a comment about how much it resembled her. Max had ended up with dark blue and a Jason mask.
"We're gonna do two imposters, okay." Lando says before he started the game. Kallie frowned, unfortunately not getting imposter like she would've hoped. Lewis pats her back with a sympathetic smile. When the singer was doing her first task out of nowhere she was killed, the body falling with a little bone sticking out. She gaped in shock, the imposter who killed her had been her own sister, Kezie. The second imposter came around not reporting her body, and she seen it was Max. "The betrayal," she frowns.
"Traitors," Lewis scoffs.
George had found her body and was quick to report it, everyone turning their mics back on minus Kallie to discuss who to vote. "Okay, that's not right. Who killed my girl, Kallie?" Max questioned, feigning betrayal. Both Kallie and Lewis scoff hearing that as if Max didn't just help Kez cover her tracks. "What an asshole." She frowned. Lewis furrowed her brows, now processing what Max had said, calling Kallie "his girl" like it was nothing. Now that is what he had a problem with.
"Not gonna lie to you, I swear I seen Kez walk out of the room." George accused.
"Excuse me? Why would I kill my sister? I'm not a monster. See, now if it was Lewis, that'd be a good argument but I would never kill Kallie." Kez argued, and of course Lewis rolls his eyes at the dig at him yet again. "That's true. I don't know George, you seem mad sus." Merida adds. "I agree with Mer. That's suspicious." Charles rebutted in agreement with his girl.
"Guys, come on, I swear it's not me! I seen Kez leave the scene!" George pleads seeing everyone getting ready to vote. "All in favor of voting George?" Lando chuckles. Everyone makes a sound of agreement to which George just gave up on fighting. He got voted out, only for him to not be the imposter. It started back up again, George putting on his mic to talk to Kallie. "Hey Kal. Sorry you had to die so early on." He said.
"Ah it's okay. Sorry my sister gaslit you." Kallie chuckles, taking another bite of her burrito.
Max and Kez had teamed up to kill Merida and Charles, to which Carlos got the blame for it and voted out. And then they killed Lando last, the imposters winning the game. "Now that's how you clear a bitch baby! Max, next time I see you, I'm buying you a drink." Keziyah said, both her and Max high fiving the camera whilst the rest of them rolled their eyes. "Appreciate that, Kez." Max chuckles.
"One more game?" Lando pitched.
"I'm down."

Kallie sat at her piano, trying her hardest to keep her hands still as she attempted to play it but it was absolutely no use. Her hands couldn't stop shaking. She couldn't write any new music without her piano so she felt pretty useless as of now. Normally she'd call Kezie, or Merida for help, but seeing as they were all the way in LA, that was out of question. And Taylor was in New York so that was definitely not an option. She didn't really know anyone in Monaco either, all except for Lewis.

Kallie waited patiently in the studio, almost falling asleep but she woke as soon as she heard the door open up. Lewis walked in, carrying a platter of different kinds of sushi. "I didn't know what you preferred so I kind of got everything." He mumbled, he didn't even recognize half of the stuff on the tray. "That's okay. I was poor as a child, I'm not picky." She chuckles, grabbing the tray and setting it over the piano, making sure the piano had a small cover over the top. "How much do I owe you?"
Lewis sighs, pushing her hand away from her pocket that contained her wallet. "Like I say each time, I'm not taking your money."
"Fine. But I will repay you eventually." She notes, opening the tray and reaching for a California roll first. "So are we recording or just writing?" He asks, sitting at the stool whilst she set up all the sauces to dip and such. "I'm just writing. The other songs I have written don't fit what we're going for so I need to write new ones for us to record next week. My other producer said I might get more inspo if I write some songs where I wrote the Electric song."
"So in other words, I'm your muse." He smirks, giving her a teasing look. Kallie chuckles, not making an effort to deny it as she reaches for the chopsticks. "You're certainly an important part of this album, I won't deny that." She huffs, knowing she had some suggestive lyrics in the back of her head that wrote out the fantasies she's had about him. As she tried to lift the chopsticks, they fell from her hand. She sighed, "great, can't even hold chopsticks because of this stupid medicine."
"Come here." Lewis reaches for the chopsticks and picks up the sushi, "what sauce?" Kallie points to the sesame and he dips it in there, before feeding it to her. "That better?" She finished chewing and smiles, "that was nice. I haven't been fed food since the high school when this girl befriended me so she could sleep with my sister." Lewis furrowed his brows at the random topic, "I don't know if I should be concerned or not."
"Don't worry, she didn't sleep with my sister. She slept with me." Kallie shrugs, taking a sip of her energy drink.
Lewis face-palmed, "Why am I surprised at this point?"
"You're right, you shouldn't be surprised anymore." Kallie chuckles, using her hands to eat the sushi. "Okay, I just need to you to play this, it shouldn't take me very long to finish the song, I have a lot of lyrics in mind. And then after I'm gonna sing over the beat to edit it up in case it doesn't fit." Kallie adjusted the papers, placing the song on the stand for him to look over. "Sounds easy. Let me know if you any help with the writing." He said, playing the tune, adjusting it so it could be better.
"Got it." Kallie stood up, sitting on the high stool and beginning to write, mumbling some of the lyrics in her head. It took about an hour to finish the song, but it seemed pretty good for her. "Okay. I got it. Read it while I grab the laptop to play the beat." She hands him the papers and runs into the other room where the panel was, grabbing her laptop.
When she came back, Lewis had a grimace on his face. "Kallie, darling, please tell me I did not just play the piano for an hour just for you to write a song about your one night stand with Max?" Kallie's eyes widened, setting her laptop on the piano. "What?! No. Oh my- why would you think that?" She stammered out. "Because this song is clearly about sex and if I recall, the only person you've done that with that I know of is Max, unfortunately." Lewis points out, sliding the papers back to her.
"No, no, this song is about sex, yes, but it's a fantasy song. It's not based on a real experience...yet." She explains, mumbling the last word as she eyes his reaction, chuckling when he let's out a relieved sigh. "Oh, thank God." He paused, thinking over her words again. "Wait- a fantasy?" She nods, not looking at him as she pulls the laptop open. "Hold on. Why would it matter if it was about Max?" She squints her eyes, turning the stool to face him.
He was trying his best to act unbothered but she knew him better than that. "It wouldn't."
"Really? So you don't mind if I- oh I don't know, write a song about how good he made me feel?" She smirks, gosh how she enjoyed getting under a man's skin, watching them try to keep their composure as she stared them down with that mischievous look in her eyes. Lewis was obviously acting like he wasn't bothered but she could see his jaw clench and unclench, clearly bothered by the mere thought of Max doing stuff with her.
"Hmm, maybe I'll even call him over, see if he wants to reenact that night, ya know give me some uh, inspiration. Or, does that make you jealous, mhle?" At this point Lewis had stood up, standing in between in bare legs, she only had on some shorts and a tank top so she wasn't covered all that much. "You know exactly how that's gonna make me feel, Kal. You should stop, 'cause I have a good feeling you don't know what you're getting yourself into."
"I don't? Okay. Tell me. Tell me what I'm getting myself into, just for future reference, yeah?" She teased, her breath hitching slightly when his cold rings brushed against the soft skin of her thighs.
"I don't have to tell you, sweetheart. You already know. That's why you haven't done anything about it. You're not ready." Lewis wore a cocky smirk on his face, now he was getting under her skin, eyeing the clench in her jaw. "If I'm not ready, what's that make you, mhle?" She asks, tapping his chest. "Makes me a very patient man." He replied without even thinking, moving away from her to sit back down on the stool, playing the piano casually as if they weren't just flirting like their lives depended on it.
Kallie cleared her throat, pushing off the stool. "I need to use the bathroom. I'll be right back."
Lewis watched with interest as she rushed out, coming back fifteen minutes later with a new pair of shorts on. He fought back a smirk as she sat down, adjusting the beat as if nothing happened. "What do you think of Body Party as the title? I feel like it's much better than rock my body. Let's say in the third person, the person who wrote it loves parties, and she's fantasizing about someone treating her body like a party, the slow dancing, lost in the moment, etcetera. What do you think? Lewis?"
Lewis was a bit in daze at the words he knew had a much deeper meaning. He snapped out of it when she called his name again. "Hmm? Uh, yeah, I think it's great. That's a very good title."
"Good. I'm gonna fix it up a bit to match the beat. It's getting late so you don't have to stay. I know you have a flight to catch tomorrow." She assures, adjusting the volume on the laptop. "No, it's fine. Kaylen said I could use the private jet here." He replied. Kallie arched a brow of interest. "Really? He must really like you then. He never let's anyone use the jet without him. Wonder if he's plotting your murder, mhle." She jokes in a playful tone.
[mhle = handsome]
"What does that mean? Mhle? You keep calling me that." He questioned, tilting his head at her with a curious glint in his brown eyes.
"Figure it out, ํธ์ฌ." She says, saying the same word just in Korean, getting a playful glare from him. "Did you see the post Max made yesterday?" She asked. Lewis rolls his eyes, nodding in response. Max had posted about the race/crash, and basically said he was disappointed in the dangerous move Lewis made, also calling him disrespectful and claiming his celebrating was unsportsmanlike. "Just like him to play victim," he shrugs.
[ํธ์ฌ = handsome]
"Ja, that kind of pissed me off. It was very immature of him. He's kind of the last person to talk, cause he did the same thing once. But I was replaying the crash in my head, and it was an accident, right? You didn't do it on purpose?" She looked up from the laptop to see his face. "Are you implying that I did?" He questioned, he wasn't mad or anything, just curious on where she was headed with this.
"No. I'm just...curious. You didn't exactly give him much room." Kallie chuckles awkwardly, rubbing her neck.
"Kallie, if I was going to push him off the track, I would've done it already, and it wouldn't have looked like an accident. Though I did think about it, I know you prefer fighting your own battles." She hums, pushing her hair back from her face to tie it up. "It's a good thing we're friends again so you won't have to think about it." Lewis nods, not looking particularly happy about it but he didn't let her know that. He wasn't the fondest of her friendship with Max. Not when he knew Max has or had a thing for her.
"Promise me something." She tore her eyes off the laptop to face him, a bit caught off guard when he was already staring at her with his gorgeous brown eyes. She always got lost in his eyes. It was getting pathetic at the point. "Promise that you won't ever put yourself in a dangerous situation on the track. I would not be okay if I see you in a crash. Please?"
Lewis reached over to take her hands in his, feeling them relax in his so they didn't shake as much. "I promise. You don't have to worry." He paused, seeing her eyes drift off. "Kallie? You okay, darling?"
"I just thought of a beat for this song I wrote yesterday." Kallie stood up, pulling her hands from his to grab her Akai board. Lewis followed her, seeing her plug it in, and take a breath when she realized she couldn't exactly play it with her hands. "Shit. I can't make it." She sighed in disappointment. Lewis thought of something and moved to stand behind her, making her tense for a bit before she calmed down. "Can I touch you here?" He asks, hovering his hand over her lower abdomen.
She nods, but he doesn't make a move. "Use your words."
"Yes, you can." She says. Lewis chuckles, shaking his head, "no, no, say in your language." Fuck, that was hot. "Which one?" She breathed out. "Both of them." He says softly in her ear. "Ewe Unga.์ํ๋ ๊ณณ ์ด๋๋ ํฐ์นํ์ธ์." She consents, knowing he wouldn't understand what she said in Korean.
[ewe unga = yes, you can]
[์ํ๋ ๊ณณ ์ด๋๋ ํฐ์นํ์ธ์ = touch anywhere you want]
Lewis slowly moved his hand over her stomach, sliding both of his arms around her, pressing their bodies flush against each other's. "Now you can play. Trust me." He whispered, pressing a kiss to her neck, getting a soft sigh from her. Kallie took a breath, pressing her hands against the board, far more relaxed than before. She messed with the beat, mumbling the lyrics under her breath but she kept messing up, her hands tensing up again.
"Andikwazi ukuyenza. I'm too tense." She huffed, throwing her head back in irritation.
[andikwazi ukuyenza = I can't do it]
"What do you need? What can I do?" He asks, being as patient as ever with her.
"I don't know. I'm never this tense. It's like everything is heightened. I hate this stupid medicine." She rants in frustration, hitting the board in anger. "Lean back into me, and just relax, okay? Stop overthinking. Just- think about something that makes you feel good, anything, it doesn't matter. Think of something that will calm you down. I'm right here, I'm not going anywhere until you finish this song." He spoke calmly, rubbing circles against her skin with his thumbs.
"Kiss my neck again." She said, leaning back into him and moving her hair out of the way.
Lewis didn't hesitate to do so, pressing soft and delicate kisses to her neck. She took a breath, relaxing into him, thinking of something that made her feel good. And if you didn't notice, something- or rather someone, who made her feel good was Lewis. "I'm looking for somebody I can call boo. Looking for the only one who I can give my all to." She sung, reciting the lyrics she had written yesterday after the dinner she had with Lewis.
"Tell me if it's you, you you. What you wanna do, do, do? Make a move." She adjusted the beat as she sung, singing more of the lyrics. "There's nothing I won't do. To spend my life with you. I'll give my all to you. I promise that I will never lie to you, boy." It took about twenty minutes and she finished making the beat, uploading it to her computer so she could record the song next week when she left back to LA where her producers were.
Lewis inhaled sharply, pulling away from her, both of them already missing the closeness. She turned around, a bit flustered because of the marks that were definitely forming on her neck, not that she had a problem with it because she asked him to keep going when he asked if she was okay with the marks that might be left. "Thank you, that was amazing. I didn't think I'd ever be able to make a song again."
He smiles, using his thumb to wipe the corner of his lips, and God was that just a sight to see. He was making it real hard to resist him. "Of course. I'm always happy to help. But, it's getting late, so I should probably get going, yeah?"
"Ewe, yeah, of course. I'm sorry, I forgot." She rambled, watching as he reaches for his jacket hanging up on the coat rack.
"Well, I had a nice time today. It was good to see you. I guess I'll see you at the race in a few days." He chuckles, pulling on his jacket and tucking his phone in the pocket. "Ewe, definitely. Busuku benzolo, Lewis." She bows her head, still very flustered and out of breath. The amount of sounds she had to hold back when he was kissing and sucking on her neck was insane and a little concerning.
[busuku benzolo = good night]
"Goodnight, Kallie." Lewis pressed a kiss to her cheek before exiting the recording studio.
"Why do you hate me, God?" She groaned, of course just when she was dying God throws her into the arms of the most perfect man ever. It was getting harder and harder to resist him. On other circumstances she would've been impressed with her self control. Eventually she was gonna give in and it was not going to be good for either one of them.
