"What do you think? Do I look fat?" Kallie questions, staring at herself in the tall mirror as she adjusted her red bikini. She was definitely questioning it. Lewis scoffs at the question, moving to stand behind her, wrapping his arms around her. "You look beautiful. Don't tell yourself otherwise." He pressed a kiss to her neck and she smiled at his words.

"You know, you are an asshole." Kallie suddenly says, making him frown at the suddenly mood change. "Pardon?" She turns around and tugs her bikini top up, pointing to the marks left on her breasts. "See what you did? Not the only place either." She says but he was only smirking as he stared at her naked chest. She snaps her fingers in his face, "Hello? I am talking to you! My eyes are up here. I told you no visible marks!" Lewis bit his lip, still staring at her chest, "how can I focus when they're staring me? I swear I'm not doing it on purpose, they're just calling to me."

"Oh, my god!" She groaned, pulling her top back down, making him visibly frown. "What? I'm sorry. Where else do you have marks? I'll help you hide them. Where's your airbrush thing?" Lewis searches Kallie's makeup bag to find the airbrush, making her smile at how helpful he was. "I forgot to pack one. You have to ask Merida." Lewis nodded, pressing a quick kiss to her lips before rushing out of the bathroom.

A few minutes later he returned with the airbrush in hand, though he looked very caught off guard maybe a little traumatized. "What's wrong?" She asked, taking the airbrush to add the foundation to it as she was obviously not the same shade as Merida. "I think I just walked in on Mer and Charles having an intimate moment." Lewis chuckles, scratching the back of his neck. "Oh, wow. You didn't see anything right?" Kallie laughs.

"Uh no, just Charles hard on through his shorts." Lewis grimaced, trying to get the image out of his head. "You poor thing." Kallie pouted in mock sympathy, making him shoot her a small glare. "Not funny. I don't think I can look at him the same." He shudders, taking the airbrush from her as she jumped on the edge of the counter. "Spread your legs. I'm pretty sure I made out with your thighs last night." He chuckles, not waiting for her as he pushes her legs apart.

"Yes, you did." She smiled, watching him airbrush the inside of her thighs, covering up the hickeys he left on her. "Isn't the water gonna wash it off?" He asks. "Nope. I have a setting spray that will keep it on for hours. My ex girlfriend left marks on me a lot in the most visible places so when I was racing I would have to put makeup on every inch of my neck. It was worse during summer time." She said, huffing at the memories.

"Was this the girlfriend that Kezie posted?" He chuckles.

"Yes, it was. First heartbreak. I was a mess." She breathed out, chuckling at her words. "It was puppy love, though. My real heartbreak was Sean." Lewis looked back up with a soft smile, "and you last heartbreak." Kallie smiled, cupping his face and pulling him into a long kiss, one that he had to force himself to pull away or they were never gonna get to the beach.

Out of nowhere, they jumped hearing Kez and Lando clear their throats loudly, standing at the door with their arms crossed. "We were supposed to be at the car 30 minutes ago. Hurry your asses up or we're leaving you!" Kez exclaimed in annoyance before pushes her glasses back down and walking away. Lando nods, "yeah, what she said." He sassed, snapping his fingers before following after Keziyah.

Lewis and Kallie both burst out laughing the minute they were gone. "Oh, my days. That was the funniest thing ever."

"Did you see his face? He looks like Karen Smith," Kallie laughs, panting for breath.

"And Kezie is Regina!" Lewis says in realization.

Kallie gasps, hitting his arm eagerly, "Kaylen is Gretchen!"

"Max is Cady!" They exclaimed simultaneously.

"Come on babies, let's go." Kezie smiled, taking Kaidyn out of his carseat as Michael picked up Kamari. "Lando, could grab that bag please?" She requests. Lando smiled and nodded, picking up the bag and pulling it on his shoulder. Kallie climbed out of her car with Lewis next, Merida and Charles in a separate one right behind them and Kaylen and Kaikara in the next one. Sargeant and Roscoe were helped out of the back by Lewis. "Give me the child." Kallie smiled, taking Kaidyn from Kezie's arm and swaying him around as he giggled.

"All right, let's go." Kezie waved them along, walking down the path that led them to the private beach. "It's very pretty here," Charles comments, overlooking the view. "I'm gonna get the best pics here," Merida cheered, holding up her camera to snap one. Once they had everything all set up, Kamari dragged Lewis to the water. "Come on!" Kallie chuckles, watching him follow after the six year old. Sargeant and Roscoe were just running around playing in the sand.

"I wanna go to water!" Kaidyn whined, pointing at the ocean.

"I'll take him." Kallie offered, standing up and tugging off the red knitted skirt she had over her swimsuit. "Go to Aunt Kallie." Michael said, gesturing him off with a smile. Kaidyn ran into her arms, "okay, come on." She picked him up effortlessly and walked into the water, making sure she didn't go too deep. Kaikara watched with a smile, "she'd be such a good mother." Kez looked over at her words, raising her brow, "Mama, you know she don't want any."

"I know. I know." She sighs, leaning forward, a small frown on her face before her eyes landed on Kaylen and Lando. "What are those two doing?" Kez looked over, letting out a snort, the two drivers were making a tiktok to the sound from the white chick's movie where Latrell was blocking the sun. Kaylen was Latrell in the video. "They're doing a tiktok, mama. It's like vine, you remember vine, yes?"

"Those silly videos you and Merida did?" Kaikara scoffs in disbelief, she had hated when they made those videos. "Yep. That's the one." Kez nods.

A few hours later, when the kids had gotten tired, Michael took them back for a nap so it was just the adults left, all of them getting ready to go surfing. "Mama, you sure you still got it?" Kaylen jokes, picking up his board. Kai shot him a glare, "you wanna get whooped boy?" His grin dropped, immediately did he shake his head, making the others laugh at him. "Uh, am I the only one who doesn't know how to surf?" Lando questions.

"Don't worry, I'll teach you baby." Kez says, pulling over a long sleeve, Kaylen smirked and nudged Lando teasingly.

"Damn, why Kara got a better body than me?" Merida said in disbelief, looking down at herself and back to Kaikara who did indeed have an amazing body for her age. The woman was very big on fitness so it made sense. "What are you talking about? You look amazing." Charles says in confusion, rubbing her waist. "Thank you babe." She awed, pressing a peck to his lips as he smiles.

"Kal, what's that from?" Kaylen questions, pointing to the scars peeking out of her shorts. "Old race." Kallie lied, tugging the shorts a bit higher to cover it up. "You kids ready? I'm getting old here!" Kaikara shouts, running into the water. "Right behind ya, mum." Kaylen grins, running into the water and sitting atop his board.

"You ready, darling?" Lewis grins, taking her hand. "Ready to catch more waves than you? Yes." Kallie smirks, running towards the water. He scoffs, quickly chasing after her. They caught a few waves, Kallie getting most of them as she had been the best at surfing, especially when she grew up. She always competed with her father. As they waited for another wave, they were all making fun of Lando who kept toppling over as Kez tried to help him.

"Lando! Shark behind you!" Kaylen yells, pointing at him.

"What?! Where?!" Lando screams, flailing around helplessly as they all laugh. "Lando, he's just fucking with you. There's no sharks here." Kez says, trying to calm the young driver down. Lando sighs in relief, turning to Kaylen with a glare. "You're such a cunt for that mate!" Kaylen laughs loudly, clutching his chest for air, "you scream like my niece brah! Should've seen your face." Lando huffs, flipping him off in response.

"Wave! I got it!" Kallie shouts, heading towards him, Lewis right next to her. "No, no, this is mine!" Kallie shoves him off his board and gets to the wave, surfing it pretty well. She came up to the surface, a look of disbelief on Lewis's face. "You cheater!"

"I did not cheat!" She denied.

"Yes, you did! You shoved me off my board!" He argued in disbelief at her playing dirty.

"I only did whatever it takes to win." Kallie shrugs, only to get water splashed on her face by him.

"Cheater!"

"You're so dead for that!" She swum towards him, tipping him off his board.

After surfing, they all toured the city together, Kaikara was showing them some of Jae-hyun's favorite places. Kallie had gotten a bit emotional at some points, needing to take a breather, as did Kaikara but Kaylen and Kez were there to comfort their mother. After that, they went to one of Jae-hyun's favorite restaurants, meeting up with Michael and the kids. They had dropped off Roscoe and Sargeant at home with a dogsitter that Kez had trusted.

Kez had to order something different for Lando because he had refused to try most of the things they had there. It was actually very funny. "So, Kallie, have you talked to Christian yet? You're going back to Red Bull, yes?" Kaikara asked. Everyone else looked confused, having no clue Kallie was in talks with them. "Wait what? Kallie, you're coming back?" Lando asks. "I didn't know you were coming back," Charles adds in confusion.

"Because I'm not." Kallie replied, looking just as confused. "Mum, I'm not going back. I thought you knew this." Kaikara furrowed her brows, glancing at Kez who just stayed silent, uncomfortable with the current conversation. She definitely didn't wanna talk about Kallie's racing career or then old feelings would stir up. "Why not? I thought you were just taking a break. You aren't seriously, quitting? We don't quit in this family, Kallie."

"Well, what do you want me to say? I had no choice." Kallie replied, feeling Lewis's hand lay on her thigh, rubbing it softly to calm her down and it worked until the conversation would continue. "No choice? You always have a choice. Just because your father died does not mean you can just give up. He wouldn't want that for you. Think of how disappointed he would be if you just gave up so early in your career." Kallie sighed, shutting her eyes as she wished this conversation would just go away.

"I can't think, because he's not here, so he can't have an opinion. He told me to make my own choices. Well, I made one, and yes, I quit. I gave up. It's not for me anymore. Is that what you want to hear? You want me to admit it? Yes, I am a quitter, mum. I quit. Get over it." Kallie stated. Kez finally decided to step in, not liking the way Kallie talked to Kaikara. "Hey, easy, Kallie, she didn't know. She just wanted to know why. Don't take your frustrations out on her because you gave up."

"Oh, really? You are the last one to talk. You have tormented my decisions for two years." Kallie argued, and at that point she completely forgot where she was and how all her family and friends were watching.

"Yes, and I had every right to do so," Kez scoffs. "I worked my ass off for you to have a career, and you threw it away. Maybe if you had stuck around to win that championship, I wouldn't have been so mad, but you gave up when you were so close. I have every right to be pissed off. I went to any race I could to support you. I comforted you when you came home crying. I worked hours and hours to make money for you. So, I will not apologize for being upset. You gave up on your dreams."

Kallie scoffed, chuckling lightly, she shook her head, the frustration getting to her. "No, I didn't give up on my dream, I gave up on yours. You didn't want any of this for me, you wanted it for you, because you weren't brave enough to do it yourself, so you let me do it for you. You only care that I gave up because it made you look bad. Did you even think to ask why I quit? Or did you just assume like everyone else?" She stood up, pushing her chair back.

"I am so sorry you all had to see this." Kallie wiped her tears, picking up her purse and going to walk away. Keziyah scoffed, standing up, "okay, run away, leave, quit while you're ahead! That's what you're good at!"

Kallie turned around, a look of hurt in her eyes, Kezie sharing the same one. "What happened to you?" Kallie wiped a tear, quickly making her exit. Lewis was quick to get up and follow after her, mumbling a small apology to Kaikara. He found her at the car, fumbling in purse for the keys. "Where do you wanna go?" He asked, holding up the keys in his hands. "Can you catch a ride with Kaylen? I really just need to be alone." She said, wiping her face.

"I can, but you need to promise me that you're going to be safe. And call me immediately if you need help. Promise me." Lewis says, cupping her face gently. "I promise. I'll tell you where to meet me when I've calmed down, okay?" She smiled, though it never reached her eyes. Lewis sighed, handing her the keys. "Be safe, please." She nods, pressing a kiss to his cheek before stepping into the car and driving off.

Michael cleared his throat, "check please?" He called to the waiter.

Lewis walked back in, avoiding any eye contact with Kez before turning to Kaylen. "You think I can catch a ride with you, Kay?" The rookie driver was quick to nod, pushing his chair out and standing up. "Lando, you coming?" Lando immediately nodded, wanting to get out of there as fast as possible. "Yeah, let's go." The three drivers left quickly, and Merida and Charles had left just seconds after, mumbling an apology to Kaikara who nodded in understanding.

"All right, kids, y'all ready to go? Kai, you mind taking them to the car?" Michael requested. Kaikara smiled gently, "of course." She picked up Kaidyn and took Kamari's hand, taking them out of the restaurant.

Michael stared forward at Keziyah, the woman's blank look not faltering. "What the hell is wrong with you? That's not the woman I fell in love with, twice. What's going on with you?" Kezie's eyes fell to the table, trying to look unbothered but he knew better. "You need to stop treatin' your sister like that, you don't know what she could be going through." He states, her behavior completely shocking him.

Kez ran a hand through her hair tiredly, "I don't know what's wrong with me."

"Come here, mama." Kez stood up, walking around the table to stand in between his legs, his hands placed on her waist. "I know you lost people, baby. I know you lost your dad, and then you lost Chad. But you ain't the only one to lose people, Kallie lost people too. She lost her father. She has survivors guilt from it too. She got cheated on, and betrayed by her best friend. And she still put a smile on her face for you, for your mother, and for Kaylen. She did not deserve to be treated like that, especially not in front of her friends, her family and her boyfriend."

"I know. I know, I'm sorry." Kez wiped her tears, taking in his words.

"I'm not the one you should be apologizing to. Go find your sister. I'll take care of the bill." Michael urged, gesturing her off. "Okay. I will. Thank you." Kez pressed a kiss to his cheek, running off to a place she'd knew her sister would be.

She quickly caught a taxi and told them where to go. "Thank you." She says in Korean, handing them some money before climbing out. She seen Kallie's car parked so she knew she would be here. It was an abandoned bridge they used to sneak out to with Merida and Taylor. Kaylen would beg to go but they wouldn't let him because he was too young. Walking through the small abandoned path, she spotted Kallie, sitting atop the bridge with her feet hanging above the stream.

"I don't want to talk to you." She stated, not even turning to face her sister.

"I know. We don't have to talk right now. Just sit and wait until you're ready." Kez climbed atop the bridge wall and sat next to her sister, dangling her feet over the stream. They sat in silence, until Kez finally broke it seeing how her sister was contemplating if she should talk first. "How did you know it was my dream?" She asked.

Kallie finally turned her head to look at her sister, the moonlight complimenting her features. "I know that feeling, the feeling of thrill, excitement, that adrenaline you get when you climb into a car, you got that feeling. I can still see it. You pretend you don't care, but you get that same feeling when you watch a race. When we were young, you'd jump to watch a race when father had it on. You think I cannot see it, but I can. Racing was your dream far before singing was."

"How long have you had cancer?" Kez turned to face her sister, a tear rolling down her cheek.

Kallie furrowed her brows in confusion, "how'd you know?"

"Come on, Kalliope. You really think I'm stupid, like I didn't notice all the signs you tried to hide from me? I'm your sister. I know the symptoms, I had the symptoms. I don't understand why you couldn't just tell me. I had to fucking pull the board card on your doctors for them to tell me. Who do you think got Dr. Montgomery to work for us? Me. Because I wanted you to have the best chance, even if I didn't know what you had at the time. Why couldn't you just tell me, usisi?"

"Because I was hurt. My best friend betrayed me, after everything we went through together. My fiance broke my heart. I lost father. I didn't know what to do. I didn't want to burden you guys, especially you. You already lost Chadwick to it, I didn't want you to lose me too. I still don't." Kallie cried, laying her head on Kezie's shoulder, the older sister wrapping her arms around her. "I'm so sorry. I distance myself without even realizing it. But I'm here now, okay? You're not alone. I got you now."

"If you knew I was sick, why were you still mad that I quit?" Kallie asked once she pulled away, wiping her face.

"Kallie...you gave up. That's why I was mad. You didn't have any hope. I talked to some of the best doctors all around and they said the same thing, that you could've continued racing under the medication. But you didn't, because you gave up. That's why I was upset. You never once seen me give up when I had it. I put out music, I did shows, I continued my acting, and I never once gave up. I didn't expect for you to give up easily. Yes, racing was my dream, but when I was a child, not anymore. Winning that championship is all you've ever worked for. I want you to have that."

Kallie sighs at her words, shaking her head. "I don't know if I'll be able to. I've been gone for two years, and it's going to take a lot to get back into shape. And we're still adjusting to the new treatments, but if they work they're gonna make me feel worse than what I already am."

"I know, I talked to Dr. Grey and Allison, they told me about the surgery. I'm glad Lewis was there for you. And yes, I know it's going to take a lot for you to get back but you can do it. Once you finish fighting this, you're going to go back, and you're going to win that championship. Do you understand?" Kez cupped her face gently, using her thumbs to wipe her sister's tears. "Yes. I'm going to go back. I'm going to win."

"Good. And I'll be there every step of the way. Cause I love you." Kallie smiles softly, wrapping her arms around her sister tightly. "I love you so much." Kallie mumbled.

"I'm so sorry for what I said back there, sis. That was wrong of me, especially to do that in front of your friends and your boyfriend. I don't know what got into me. Probably this stupid fucking drama with Will." Kez rambled, rubbing her head in annoyance. Kallie sighs, taking her sister's hand, "have you considered talking to him?" Kez shook her head, a small frown on her face. "You need to talk to him. Like now. He makes you happy, right?"

Kez nodded, sighing softly, but Kallie was very positive that they could mend their issues. "Then that's enough. Don't worry about me, go and talk to him." Kallie urged.

"Are you sure?" Kez frowned in concern, she could tell when something was bothering Kallie, and something still was. "Yes, I'm sure. Go on. I'll be okay. I just want to sit here for a bit longer." She smiled in assurance. "Okay. I'll see you tomorrow, or at the house if I'm awake when you're back. I love you. And sorry again for being a bitch." Kez chuckles softly, pressing a kiss to her sister's cheek.

"It's okay. Go get your man." Kallie laughs lightly, watching Kez turn and hop off the wall, standing up in the bridge, pulling her dress back down and rushing off.

A rough thirty minutes later, Kalliope was still sitting at the bridge, her mind clouded with thoughts as she stared at the moon shining above her. "This looks like a place you'd go to get murdered." Lewis comments, walking onto the bridge with a hesitant look. Kallie smiled softly, turning her head to look at him. "How'd you know I was here?" Lewis raised a brow, climbing onto the wall to sit next to her, immediately pulling her into his arms. "Kezie."

"You're freezing love." Lewis quickly pulls off his jacket and brings it around her arms holding it against her to keep her warm. "What's on your mind, sweets?" He asked, pressing a gentle kiss to her head. "It's only a few more hours until his birthday is over." She says sadly, and he knew she was referring to her father Jae-hyun. "I really miss him. Why'd I have to make him get on that plane?" She choked on a sob, crying into his chest.

"Baby, what are you talking about?" Lewis cupped her jaw softly, growing more confused.

"He died because of me. I made him get on that plane, Lew. I begged him to. Because I was so concerned about him not making my race, I didn't even care about how unsafe the weather was. I killed my father. I ruined everything. I ruin everything." She cried, finally letting all her built up emotions out. She had been holding this in for two years and now she was finally letting it out. It was why she avoided South Korea like the plague, cause it was the only place that would break her.

"Hey, hey, you did not do that. That wasn't your fault, Kallie. It wasn't your fault. He loved you, and he would not want you to blame yourself. You cannot blame yourself for that. You didn't ruin anything. The world is just...an unfair place. Unfair things happen to good people, you and your father were one of those people. That does not make it your fault. Please, don't blame yourself." Lewis wiped her tears, his forehead pressed against hers, not even noticing how tears of his own fell.

"Why are you sticking around for this? I'm a mess. I'm like broken glass, I'm not worth fixing. Why are you trying to fix me, Lewis?" She cried, reaching her hand up to hold his hand that held her face.

"Because I love you." He said, not an ounce of hesitation in his voice. He completely meant it, and he wasn't gonna take it back. "I am in love with you. I am in love with everything about you, with everything that comes with you. Nothing is going to scare me away. Nothing is going to stop me from loving you. I don't care if you think you're damaged, or not worth fixing. You are perfect in my eyes. You are worth everything and more. Ndiyakuthanda, Kalliope."

Kallie let out a breath she hadn't even known she was holding. Tears still flooding her eyes, only this time they were happy tears. "Ndiyakuthanda, Lewis."

Lewis grinned, happy that she returned the words. He was honestly scared that she didn't feel the same way. "Promise me you won't blame yourself, Allie. I can't see you like this again. It hurts me to see you like that." Kallie nodded, laying her head on his chest. "Ndiyakuthembisa, Lewis. I won't blame myself." Lewis sighs in relief, pressing a kiss to her temple. "I love you so much, Kallie." She smiled, looking up at him, running her fingers along his jaw. "And I love you, more than words can describe."

He smiled, pulling her into a soft and intimate kiss, reminiscing the way her lips felt against his. Kallie sighs, laying her head on his shoulder, "I don't want to go back to the house."

"I knew you'd say that. So I had Kaylen drop off our stuff at your apartment." Lewis said, causing her to smile up at him. "How did I get so lucky?" Lewis scoffs at her words, "no, I'm the one who's lucky."

"Why do I feel like you have the perfect argument to back that up?" She giggles, pressing a kiss to his jaw.

"Cause I do." He grinned, pulling her into a short but sweet kiss. "Hold on, I got something for you. I know you said you don't like gifts but I couldn't help myself." He reached into his back pocket, pulling out a small velvet box. Kallie looked down at it with raised brows, making him chuckle, "I'm not proposing, darling. Not yet anyway." She smiled, rolling her eyes playfully, she took the box, opening it up, her smile grew wider when she was faced with a metal ring that had his letters and number shaped on it. "Oh my gosh. I love it. Thank you, mhle."

"You're welcome, love. Try it on, I wanna know if your brother gave me the right size." Lewis urged, holding a hand on her thigh. Kallie chuckles, pulling it out and sliding it on her right ring finger, and it fit perfectly. "Fits perfectly. I love it so much. I'm never taking this off." She giggles, reaching up to pull him into a kiss. "It's a perfect gift, thank you, baby." Lewis smiled, pressing a small peck to her lips, "anything for you."

She rested her head against his, pulling her arms around his warm body. He smiled down at her, pressing a kiss to her temple. "Happy birthday, my love."
