"What are you thinking about, love?" Lewis glanced down at his wife, she was staring off at the ceiling, clearly in deep thought. Kallie sighed, pressing a kiss to his bare chest. "Can't stop thinking about how I'm never gonna be on the track with Kimi or Seb again. I just wish Seb held on for one more year so I could have one final race with him," she answered with a disappointed tone. Kimi retired in 2021, and then Sebastian retired the following year in 2022.

"Your last race with him was still great, Allie. You shared a podium with him. You had an epic battle with Kimi too. Trust me, they are very proud of their last race with you." Lewis assured, pressing a kiss to her cheek. She smiled softly at his encouraging words and leaned up to connect their lips. "I'm still sad I can't make it to your birthday party," she frowned. "I know, I know, but your mum is far more important, she needs you. And besides, it's just a late birthday party, I get you all to myself on the actual day."

Last year in December, Kaikara had dinner with her children plus Lewis, Lando, and George, and told them about her cancer. It was only stage two, as they caught it early, so Kaikara was going to start her first set of treatments on the 10th, which was the day Lewis planned to celebrate with all his friends. "I still feel like a terrible wife," she mumbled. Lewis sat up quickly hearing that, cupping her face with his hand, "don't ever say that again, you are the best wife in the entire world. Your sick mother is far more important than a party. Don't feel bad, I would do the exact same thing in your position."

"I hate you sometimes. You're too good for me." She pouts, leaning up to press a kiss to his lips.

"You're such a bad liar," he mumbled against her lips.

"Not as bad as you," she retorts. He grinned, his braids falling over his face as he trailed kisses down her jaw to her neck, admiring the tattoo of his initials behind her ear. He had a matching one of her initials on his finger that they got in the middle of the night on her birthday. They also had their wedding date tattooed on the back of their necks for their anniversary. Kezie called them crazy, claiming tattoos for couples always goes downhill but they didn't care. She probably felt that way because they got each other's signatures tattooed on their ankles after she got a painful belly button piercing.

"I wanna get another matching tattoo," he voiced, tracing the butterfly tattoos on her skin. She has butterflies all over her body, and he loved each and every one of them. He loved all her tattoos if he was being honest, minus the matching one she had with Jhené. "We already have three. What else is there to get?" She chuckles as he pulls her leg over his waist. "You could always get 44 tattooed," he mumbled, still focused on kissing her neck, bringing soft sighs to escape her lips.

"Where? On my ass?" She snorts, and her words making him look up with a cheeky grin. "That's actually not a bad idea. You could blend it in with your butterfly." He suggests, moving hand to trace that exact tattoo. "Talk about possessive," she smirks. He smiled, rubbing the soft skin of her thigh as he connected their lips again. "If wanting the whole world to know you're mine is possessive, then I guess I'm possessive." He said before fully climbing over her, settling in between her legs.

"We can't, Kaylie's next door," she warned, feeling his hand itch closer to her core.

"Yes, we can, you just gotta be quiet." Lewis pressed a small peck to her lips before moving down her body. A whine escapes her lips as he tugs her panties down and off her body. "I haven't even touched you darling and you're already so wet for me," he smirked, and she whined, pulling his head closer to her heat. "You talk too much. I thought I was supposed to be quiet?" She retorts, glancing down at him with a teasing smirk.

"You never learn." He shrugs, and she furrowed his brows in confusion at his words. As she went to reply, his mouth was already on her wet core, causing a loud moan to leave her mouth as her head fell back into the pillows.

"Now who's being loud?"

"Morning guys, we made breakfast." Kaylen spoke, looking up from the TV to see the couple coming downstairs. "It's on the counter, still hot. I'm vegan too, so I helped." James said, still nervous about being at their home but Kaylen had invited him since he lived downstairs and didn't have any company. Kay was also trying to help James with his confidence since he was gonna be Kallie's race engineer, he needed to be able to handle some emotional outbursts from her, cause she was known for her cursing in different languages on radio. It took her Red Bull race engineer a whole season to learn how to deal with here outbursts of anger. So James had a lot of work to do in that department.

Lewis smiled at the American boy, "thanks mate." Kallie also offered a polite bow of her head and followed Lewis to the kitchen, his hand holding onto hers in case she grew clumsy. Which she did, because she almost tripped over her feet, luckily he caught her and steadied her. "I will never understand how uncoordinated you are," he chuckled.

"I'm not that clumsy. I've been getting better at it." She scowls, hitting his arm and moving to the fridge. "You sprained your wrist a week ago because you fell down the stairs," he deadpanned, grabbing his plate of food. "That was an accident. I got the staircase confused with the one in London." She argued, grabbing a glass and pouring herself some pineapple juice. "Sure you did, love." He smirked.

"I hate you." She sneers, grabbing her plate and juice and walking into the living room. She took a seat on the empty couch and Lewis joined her, pressing a kiss to her cheek. "Lying isn't attractive," he whispers into her before pulling away and looking to the TV in the corner where Wakanda Forever was playing. "How many times have you watched this movie?" Lewis deadpanned.

Kaylen grinned, "you don't want to know the real answer."

"Can you blame him? This is probably Kezie's best performance yet, right after 90 Days." Kallie agreed, crossing her legs under her.

"I can't wait for her singles movie, although I'm so fucking pissed they're killing Makena off," James expressed. Kaylen nods in agreement, "literally though, like Shuri lost all her family and now she's gonna lose her girl too? Fucking monsters. I wanted to fight Kezie when she told me she helped write it." Lewis glared at the two, "thanks for the spoilers."

"My bad," Kaylen mumbled.

"So, when is Kezie dropping the kids off?" Kallie questioned, remembering how Kaylen mentioned it last night before going to bed. "Uh, probably in another hour cause she's got to catch her flight today at a specific time to avoid the paps," he answered. Kaylen had volunteered Kallie and Lewis to watch the kids for a few days as Kezie was working her lead marvel movie and Michael was too busy filming as well so she had nobody to watch them. Therefore why they were gonna stay with their Auntie and Uncles.

"I can't believe you volunteered us to watch them," Lewis huffs, they hadn't even had an empty room for the kids to sleep in.

"Well, it's not like I could watch them. She won't let me anymore," Kaylen frowned. "Because you lost Kamari at the mall of America," Kallie pointed out, James eyes widening slightly. "Dude? Seriously?" Kaylen stammered as he tries to find words to speak, "it was an accident." Lewis rolls his eyes, he remembered how pissed off Kezie was, Will had to take her some kind of rage room to avoid her killing Kaylen. "Yeah, you're lucky her fans recognized Mari and got her to safety before she was kidnapped by some weirdo."

Kaylen frowned, fiddling with his chopsticks, "I said I was sorry."

"They're gonna need somewhere to sleep so I'll clean out that room filled with boxes and buy them some beds." Kallie says, turning to Lewis. "No, no, I'll clean out the room so you can go out and buy the beds. They'll probably need clothes too." He said. "And I can go shopping," Kaylen volunteered. "No," the married couple both say in unison, making Kaylen feign an offended look. "Why not? What's wrong with me going shopping?"

"You brought a big ass jar of pickles and pickled onions home last time and only got like two things on the list," Kallie stated.

"What's wrong with pickles and onions?" James asked in curiosity as he had personally loved them.

"These two will literally go skydiving before they go near pickles and onions," Kaylen scowled. "Fuck off. I will go shopping, you can help Lewis clear out the room seeing as all that trash in there is yours." Kallie stood up and left, making James just stare at them in confusion. This was such a complicated family. "Kallie, you're not going by yourself love," Lewis says. As much as he enjoyed living in Italy, he was a man, so experiences for him were very different than for her. Not to mention, Italy was very well known for F1 and the last thing he needed was her getting crowded with fans when he wasn't there to keep her safe.

"I'm not going by myself. James, you're coming with me." Kallie says before walking up the stairs to get changed.

"Uh, I don't think I'm qualified to protect her," James expressed, looking down at his quite lanky arms. He was getting down in the gym, but work took up most of his time so results weren't coming in very fast. Kaylen snorted, patting his shoulder before standing up, "it's just cause you're white, man." James blinked, pursing his lips, he made a good point. Lewis cleared his throat as he stood up from the couch with his plate, "anything happens to her and I'll end your whole career."

"Yes sir," James mumbled nervously.

Kallie walked down the stairs and pulled on some shoes. "Let's go, James!" He quickly gets up and rushes to the door, slipping on his shoes. Lewis came over and handed Kallie his keys before pressing a kiss to her lips. "Be safe, love." She smiled and kissed his cheek, "always. Love you. Be back soon." James pulled the door open for her and she walked through. The American cleared his throat awkwardly at Lewis's intimidating stare before rushing out behind the Maserati driver.

Lewis turned to look at Kaylen who was gathering some trashbags, "you got a thing for him?" He asked.

Kaylen scoffs, shaking his head, "nah, he's straight."

"Sure about that? He dresses quite...odd. And I haven't seen him even make an attempt to check Kallie out," Lewis voiced, following Kaylen to the guest room. "Good point, actually. Maybe he is gay. But, still, I don't like him like that," He shrugged, picking up a box and taking it apart. "Not a fan of nerds?" Lewis chuckles, picking up a large box and taking it apart. Kaylen chuckles, shaking his head, "nah, it's just...I'm not interested in dating someone who's in my line of work, ya know?"

"Maybe that's why all your relationships don't work out. You're too busy and focused on your career, so obviously your partner isn't gonna understand that." Lewis countered, making quite a good point. Kaylen squints his eyes, glancing towards Lewis, "so you're saying, dating someone who understands what I do will improve my chances of a relationship actually lasting?"

Lewis shrugs nonchalantly, "well, from my experience, nobody has ever understood my job the way Kallie does, so don't knock it till you try it."

About an hour later, Keziyah and Will showed up with the two eager kids, who enjoyed spending time with their Auntie Kallie and Uncle Lewis. "Shoes off please," Kezie says towards Kamari as they walked through the door. The eight year old quickly pulled off her shoes and put them on the rack as Will removed Kaidyn's for him. Lewis walked down the hall and smiled when Kamari ran into his arms. "You're getting big. Gonna pass me up soon." He jokes.

"Where is Kallie?" Kezie questions quietly as Kaidyn was fast asleep in Will's arms.

"She's out shopping, getting them some beds and clothes, all that stuff." Lewis explained, lifting Kamari up so she could hug onto him, the girl still tired from the early car ride. "Okay, uh, you guys got my list right? I would've went shopping but I didn't have time," Kezie said, hanging up Kamari's coat on the rack by the door. "That's okay, don't stress. Kallie got the list, she's getting everything. They'll be perfectly fine with us." Lewis reassured, aware Kezie hated leaving her kids on such short notice.

He set Kamari down so she could run down the hall to bother Kaylen. "Is he sleeping?" Lewis asked, referring to Kaidyn, noticing he hadn't lifted his head from Will's shoulder. "Yeah, he's exhausted. I had to wake them up very early. Mari's gonna crash soon." Kezie explained, pulling Lewis into a hug, mumbling a thanks. "I'll take him," Lewis reached out for the child and Will carefully handed Kaidyn to the driver. "I'll be back with the car-seat," Will said before leaving through the door.

"Mari's going through this phase right now, she refuses to eat anything that includes onions for some reason." Kezie said, following Lewis to the living room as he grabs a throw blanket to wrap around Kaidyn, the boy shivering as he slept. Lewis chuckles lowly, "that's probably my fault, she seen the video of Kallie putting an onion next to my pillow for April fools day."

"Yup, now I have to remove all onions from her food. Hopefully she'll grow out of it in a month." Kezie sighs, plopping down on the couch tiredly. "When's the last time you got a full 8 hours?" Lewis questions, rocking Kaidyn in his arms. She stared up at the tall ceiling, "not since I had Kamari. Life of being a mother." She chuckles, standing up as Will came back with the car-seat, leaving them by the door. "We gotta be there in twenty, darling. Roads are busy today," he said.

"All right. Mari, come here baby." Kezie called. The girl ran down the hall, Kaylen short ways behind the girl. Kezie bent down to her level and hugged her tightly, "daddy's gonna pick you guys up in a few days. Be good for your Auntie and Uncle. I don't wanna get any calls about you misbehaving, got it?" Kamari nods, bowing her head, "yes, mum. I'll be good, I promise." Kezie smiles, pressing a kiss to her head. "I love you."

"I love you too, mama."

Kezie stood up and pressed a kiss to Kaidyn's head, careful not to wake him up. She handed Kamari her phone, one that she got for Mari in case of emergencies after the mall of America incident. "Emergencies and video games only, understood?" Mari nods, before hugging her mum again, "bye mum." Kezie pressed a kiss to the girl's cheek, "bye baby. Be good. Call me anytime. I'll answer."

"Tell Kallie, I say thank you." Kez says towards Lewis, the latter nodding with a smile. She hugged Kaylen and exchanged some words before she and Will had to leave or else they'd miss their flight.

Kamari crossed her arms and turned to her uncle, "I'm hungry."

"You had a full breakfast this morning?" Kaylen furrowed his brows in confusion. Lewis just shook his head, walking back over to the couch and laying down, Kaidyn still fast asleep on his chest as he switched on a movie. "Ja, five hours ago," Mari scowled, "make me some food, or I'll tell mum you're starving me." Lewis chuckles in amusement, looking down at Kai, "your sister reminds me of your mum. Her smart but evil little spawn."

"Fine, fine, what do you want to eat?" Kaylen asks, still caught off guard by Mari's sudden mood change.

"Do I look like Gordon Ramsey? Figure it out." Kamari rolls her eyes and walks over to the couch, sitting right next to Lewis and resting her head on his shoulder comfortably. "You excited about Fernando coming over for dinner?" He asks, his eyes on the screen as they watched an Iowa college women's basketball game. He knew Kamari was obsessed with Kate Martin. "Ja, but mama said not to get too excited because Aunt Kallie still doesn't like that he's dating grandma."

"How'd you feel about your mum and your dad separating?" Lewis asked, aware Kamari had been around many of Kezie's exes, but he still didn't know how she felt about it. Mari shrugs, "I was sad about it for a little bit, but they argued too much when they were together and I didn't like it. I just want mum and dad to be happy." Lewis smiled, he always enjoyed how intelligent she was for her age. She was quite the observant. But he knew there was something different about her. She was too smart. "How do you feel about your mum dating Will?"

"I love Will. Mama was really sad when they broke up. He makes her super happy. I want them to get married so he can be my step-dad." Kamari expressed, moving to lay down on the couch. "How would you feel if me and your Aunt Kallie got married?" He asked. Kamari smiled as she sat up, glancing down at him with a knowing look, "I already know you're married. I heard mama talking to Neela about it." Lewis rolls his eyes, of course she'd figure it out. "Anyone ever tell you you're nosy?"

She shrugs, laying back down, "all the time. I don't care."

Lewis scoffs, "and people compare you to Kallie."

"Nando!" Kamari grins excitedly, pushing her laptop off her computer and running over to him. She jumped into his awaiting arms, the driver swinging her around with a grin. "Hey, kiddo." Fernando grinned as Kaikara embraced Lewis warmly. "Where are my children?" She asks, looking around with curious eyes. "Kallie is in the kitchen. Kaylen is setting up the kids room with James. Sang and Soo Yun should be in the kitchen as well. I've just been watching the kids." Lewis says, and it was quite obvious as he had the baby Keziah in his arm.

"All right, I will go help Kallie in the kitchen. Love, stay and watch the kids with Lewis." Kaikara said. Fernando nods and pulls her into a kiss, causing Kamari to grimace and hide her face into Lewis's back. "Don't you got homework to finish?" He spoke, looking down at the girl. She groaned and stomped into the living room, sitting on the couch and picking up the laptop to continue her work. "I do not miss that," Kaikara mumbles before retreating to the kitchen.

"You look like a mum," Fernando comments, walking into the living room and plopping down on the couch next to Kamari. Lewis rolled his eyes, chuckling softy as he sat back down. Kaidyn and the baby Jae were just sitting down playing with toy cars. "I feel like one," he laughs, pressing a kiss to Keziah's head. Kamari huffs, "Lew, I can't do this. It's too easy and I'm bored."

"I'd love to help but I suck at math," Lewis mumbled.

"Then how are you an F1 driver? Does that mean Kallie is smarter than you?" Kamari questions, squinting her small brown eyes at him. Lewis went quiet, feigning offense. "I'm good at math." Fernando shrugs, taking the laptop from her. "Nando, you can't do her work," Lewis pointed out. Kamari turned to glare at him, "and what are you gonna do about it? I'm adorable, you are not. Who will they believe?" She gave a cheeky smile as Lewis stared at her in shock.

"You're like Kezie's evil twin with Kallie's face," Lewis scowled.

"Good thing my Auntie is very pretty," Mari shrugged before looking back at the laptop where Fernando was doing her homework. "What's 10 x 10?" He asked. "One hundred," Mari answered confidently. "Good job," He gave her a high five before letting her type in the answer.

"Dinner is ready! Come on!" Kallie called. Soo Yun walked into the room and Lewis handed her Keziah. "You finish your homework?" Lewis queried as he picked up Jae. Kaidyn was already running to the kitchen. "All finished. I got an A plus! It was easy!" Mari cheered and he grinned, giving her a high five. "Good job. Let's go eat." They all went to the dining room and he set Jae in the high chair next to Keziah.

"Finish your homework?" Kallie questions the eight year old as she set down the large serving dish on the middle of the table. "Yes, I got an A plus," Mari smiled, and Kallie chuckled, giving her a high five. "Make sure you tell your mum about that." She nods firmly and sends a smirk to Lewis, the latter just rolling his eyes. Kallie took her seat, not noticing the glaring going on between her husband and niece. Everyone took their seat at the table, and took each other's hands and Kai made Kaylen say grace as he took a bite of the rice first.

"You need a fork?" Kallie asked her mum, noticing her hands were a bit too shaky to hold her chopsticks. "No, I'll manage, thank you," Kai smiled warmly. Sang cleared his throat, causing their eyes to fall on him. "So, I was discussing with a member of the FIA when they were looking over the chassis, and they are aware of you and Kaylen both driving for us, but there is one problem with you and your brother on the same team."

"What's the problem?" Kallie questioned, sharing a look with Kaylen, him just as confused.

"You both have the same last name," Sang stated.

"That wasn't a problem before, why is it a problem now?" Kaylen asked, his brows furrowed in confusion and curiosity. "Because you're on the same team. For example, if you were in P8 and Kallie was in P3, that's confusing for everyone who watches because they won't know who is who. See, if you were on opposite teams, that would be fine, but being on the same team, one of you will have to use a different last name." Sang explained.

"Seriously?" Kaylen ran a hand over his mouth, glancing over at Kallie who was just processing that information. She had been representing her mother's last name in the sport for years, so it'd be weird to just return without it. But she also didn't want Kaylen to use a different one, especially not their father's original surname. He wouldn't have wanted them to use Yeong-Su as it represented the family that banished him from his home as a kid just for loving their mother.

"I guess I could use dad's surname," Kaylen suggests.

Kai shook her head in objection, "no, he didn't want you guys associated with that name."

"I could try to use my middle name," Kaylen said. "I could try to run it by them, but there's no promises. They said it had to be a legal surname," Sang said. "That's ridiculous. Bloody hell," Kaylen sighed, running a hand over his hair. "Uh, well, Kallie has two middle names, so maybe she could use Kai," James suggests, adding his input into the conversation. "Yeah but it's not guaranteed and she's been in motorsports longer than me so she shouldn't have to change," Kaylen said.

"No, no, it's fine. I can change it. They know my first name far more than my last. You should wear Kumalo, everyone's familiar with it already. I can try to use Kai, it's just a bit odd to use a surname nobody is familiar with yet." Kallie expressed, running her hand over her hair, the situation quite stressful and annoying for her. They definitely should've thought this through before he signed his contract.

"Uh yeah, yeah, we can try to use Kai," Sang says with a nod and everyone returned to eating their food, the room going quiet, besides the talk and gurgling from the children.

"You can always use my surname," Lewis spoke up, breaking the uncomfortable silence in the room. Everyone looked up very quickly at those words, beside Mari who just giggled to herself. "Uh, no offense Lewis, but he just said it has to be legal," Kaylen input, a confused look on his face. Kallie ignored him and turned to her husband with semi wide eyes. "Are you sure? That's your whole legacy, I can't just use your name."

"Yes, you can. You're my wife. My name is yours and yours is mine." Lewis smiled softly, taking her hand in his.

Kaylen almost choked on his food hearing those words, causing Fernando to blink from shock and pat his back. "I'm sorry- did I hear that right? You're married?" He coughed. Kallie rubbed her neck nervously, nodding lightly, "yes." Kaikara cleared her throat, blinking out of her shock. "Um, how long have you two been married?" She questioned, looking in between the two.

"September 22nd...of 2021," Lewis answered nervously.

Kaikara inhaled sharply, running a hand over her mouth, Fernando doing his best to calm her down but really he couldn't do much cause he was also processing such information. "A whole ass year?" Kaylen exclaimed and James quickly slapped a hand over his mouth with wide eyes. "Children present," he warned. "That explains the tattoo," Sang comments, he honestly wasn't super surprised, seeing as Kallie would never get matching tattoos with someone after Jhené, so to see her so willingly get several with Lewis made it clear it was more than dating.

"You said that date just meant your first apartment together," Kaylen said, his voice going higher as he spoke.

"Yeah, that was a lie," Kallie mumbled, scratching her head awkwardly.

"No shit," he scoffed and yet again James glared at him, reminding him there was children in the room who could pick up that language.

"Oh, my goodness, my child is married. My child is married and it's not Keziyah." Kaikara mumbled, holding her hands over her head. "I can't tell if that's an insult or not," Kallie frowned. "I mean, she's not wrong...we all thought Kezie would get married first," Kaylen shrugged. Kamari nods, "me too." Kai cleared her throat, taking a sip of her water that Fernando handed her. "Okay, you've been married for a little over a year, that's fine, I'm happy for you, that's amazing. Did you at least follow tradition?"

"Yeah, did he bow?" Kaylen raised a brow.

"All the way to the floor, yes. I promise, we did everything right. It was beautiful, and we're very happy with it." Kallie answered, smiling at Lewis who pressed a kiss to her hand. "And you don't want a wedding? At all?" Kaikara questioned. "We discussed it many times, but we didn't want to do it if Jae-hyun wasn't able to be present to walk her down the isle," Lewis explained. Kaikara smiles sadly, nodding in understanding, "I wish I could've been there, but I'm glad you did it your way. I can't exactly say much because I didn't have a proper wedding either."

"Who else knows about this?" Kaylen asked.

"Uh, Kezie, Angela, Jamie, Neela, my father, and step mum," Lewis answered. Kamari rolls her eyes, raising a hand, "I also knew about it." Kallie rolled her eyes and put her hand back down. "I'm finished, can I be excused?" Kamari asked, really not wanting to be present for anymore of this family drama. "Of course, take your plate." Kallie grants, and the girl does as told, Roscoe following after the girl.

"Have you legally changed your surname?" Sang asked. Kallie nods, "yes, I've added Hamilton to my name the year we got married." Lewis smiled, he still loved hearing her last name being his. "And I added Kumalo to mine," Lewis adds. Kaikara smiled hearing that, knowing Jae-hyun would've loved to hear that. Sang nods, "all right, well, since it's legally your last name, and you're both on different teams, it shouldn't be a problem. I'll let the FIA know when they stop by tomorrow."

"Are you sure you guys want the world to know you're married? They're gonna ask tons of questions." Fernando input, quite concerned about that given Kallie wasn't a fan of being asked questions about her personal life. One time a reporter asked how Sean felt about her friendship with Max, and insinuated that she was having an affair with her younger teammate, so she told him to fuck off and get a life.

"We can handle it," Lewis says, squeezing his wife's hand softly.

"Hello, this is Kalliope. I would like to officially announce to you all, my long awaited return to Formula 1. I will be joining Maserati MSG racing for the 2023 season, racing alongside my own brother, Kaylen Kumalo. I would like to thank you all for being so patient with me, I know it's been three years since my leave in the middle of the 2019 season. I am very thankful for my career in Red Bull, but it is time for a change. I've been watching on the sidelines for too long, and I'm ready to get back on that track and claim what's mine."

Kallie smirked to herself, crossing her leg over the other, "I will also no longer be going by the last name, Kumalo. From here on out, you can call me Kalliope Hamilton."
