"good morning bhabhi." She looked at her brother in law Abhishek Malhan with a smile on her face, while he munched on his apple that he grabbed just now.

"Good morning Abhi!" She greeted him back and he smiled. "Bhai ne tang to nhi kiyaa jese woh mujhe karte hai." He asked jokingly.

Vedika and Abhishek had great bond ever since they met for the first time. Vedika never had a brother but always wanted one, and she found her brother in Abhishek.

"Kon tujhe tang karta hai." They heard a voice while Abhishek was still chewing on his apple. "Nonu!!!" He said without looking back and Vedika face palmed and indicated him to look back.

"Bhai tu!" He said looking back. Nischay was standing their in all his glory, folding his arms near his chest. "To main tujhe tang karta hun!" Nischay said holding his brother's neck not too tightly.

"Nhi Bhai kisne kaha tujhe aesa!" He said looking obviously scared. "Tune." He said punching him on his back.

"Bhabhi hass kyaa rhi ho bachao aapne zalim pati se!" Abhi requested to Vedika who was laughing standing there enjoying there sweet fight.

"Nischay ji please chhod do naa abhi ko!" She said looking at him with puppy eyes, aur yaha Banda pighal gya! "Vedika keh rhi hai isliye chhod rha hun warna dekh leta tujhe!" Nischay said leaving abhi and he sighed in relief.

"Thank you bhabhi you saved me today, nhi to aapka pati jaan le leta meri!" Abhi said, and Nischay glared at him.

"Gadhaa.........!" Nischay said while Abhi glared at him which he loyally ignored. "Vedika, i have over work today in office and also a meeting so I'll be late today." He said and she nodded.

"So tum dinner karlena aur so Jana okay!" He continued and she nodded again continuing her work.

It was midnight, Vedika sat on the sofa present in hall waiting for her husband who was not yet back. That nightmare still bothered her scaring her for not herself but for him.

She looked at the clock and stared at it for a minute or two. Soon, eventually sleep took over her and she slept on the sofa itself.

Inserting the key in key hole, Nischay opened the door, assuming that nobody would be awaken at this time since it was almost 3 in night.

It was dark in the hall but still he was able to see his wife's small figure, sleeping soundly. He sighed as he knew that she was waiting for him and while waiting she slept in the hall itself.

He sighed and took long steps towards her, kissing the back of her hand he smiled seeing her sleeping so peacefully. He did not wanted to wake her up therefore he held her carefully in his arms.

She with half open eyes looked at her and asked "aap aagye?" She snuggled more into his chest and he smiled at her innocence.

"Haan mein aagya! Have you had something." He asked her while taking her up to their room. She nodded in no with a pout. "I was waiting for you." She said still being half sleepy. And he shook his head.

"I'll bring something for you, to eat." He said making her sit on the couch and she nodded as an obedient child. He folded his sleeves and went out from the room and made his way towards the kitchen.

After few minutes he came back to their room with tray full of food in his hand. He found her sleeping on the couch again he chuckled and went near her. "Vedika first have this then we will sleep for hours." He said.

"Aap khila do!" She replied with a grin. He smiled and sat beside her. "Maine tumse kaha tha naa ki tum dinner karke so Jana, I'll be late today." He said making her eat. She looked at him with her big brown eyes.

"I can't sleep without you!" She said looking down at the floor as it was the most beautiful thing present in the world. She was still sleepy so couldn't keep her eyes fully open for some more minutes.

Making her eat the last bite Nischay, covered her with a blanket.

"Will you not eat?" She aske and he nodded in no. "Actually maine pehle hi bahar khaliya." He said and she nodded understanding his words.

"Stay with me!" She said as he was about to get up from his place and kept her on his shoulder.

"I like you." She said.
"And i promise I'll turn this i like you into I love you, very soon." He whispered in her ears and kissed her forehead while she slept keeping her head on his  shoulder under the moonlight. And he felt blessed to have her in his life.
