"I know how you feel." Dumbledore said to the Potter twins.

"No, you don't." Harry said. "It's my fault."

"No, it's my fault." Cassandra said.

"No to both of you." Dumbledore said. "The fault is mine. I knew it was only a matter of time before Voldemort made the connection between you. I thought distancing myself from you two, that all year he would be less tempted and therefore you might be more protected."

"The prophecy said neither one could live while the other two are alive." Cassandra said. "It means one of us is going to kill the other, in the end."

"Yes." Dumbledore answered.

"Why didn't you tell us?" Harry asked.

"For the same reason you saved Sirius." Dumbledore said. "Same reason why your friends saved you. After all these years, after all you've suffered, I didn't want to cause either of you more pain. I cared too much about you."

"I have a question." Cassandra said.

"Shoot away, Cassandra." Dumbledore said.

"That woman, who saved Sirius, who is she?" Cassandra asked.

"Brooklyn Potter."

Harry and Cassandra walked down the stairs that were filled with paintings again. They were also in their traditional Gryffindor attire. They accidentally met up with Luna.

"Why are you not at the feat?" Harry asked.

"Lost my possessions." Luna explained. "Apparently people have been hiding them."

"That's awful." Cassandra rubbed Luna's back.

"Oh it's all good fun but as of last night, I really do need them back." Luna said.

"Do you want any help finding them?" Cassandra asked.

"I'm glad you two were able to save your godfather." Luna said.

"Are you sure you don't need help finding?" Harry changed the subject.

"That's alright." Luna said. "Anyway my mom always said things we lose have a way of coming back to us in the end, if not always in the way we expect. I think I'll just have some pudding."

Luna's shoes were hanging off an archway. She skipped off, leaving a confused Harry.

"I've been thinking about something Dumbledore told me and Cassie." Harry said.

"What's that? Hermione asked.

"That even though we have a fight ahead of us, we've got one thing that Voldemort doesn't have."

"A nose?" Ron joked.

"Something worth fighting for." Cassandra said.

They boarded the train, leaving behind their true home.

Cassandra walked into Twelve Grimmauld Place. She sat her things down on the couch in the living room.

"Sirius?" Cassandra asked as she walked back to the kitchen.

"Oh my!" A woman gasped, turning around to face Cassandra. "You scared me."

Cassandra looked at the woman. She noticed the woman's long, messy, red hair. She noticed her green eyes and the same smile that belonged to James Potter.

"Cassandra!" Sirius entered the room. "I thought I heard you!"

He looked back and forth between the woman and Cassandra.

"Cassandra, I'd like you to meet someone." Sirius said. "This is my girlfriend, Brooklyn Potter. Brooklyn, this is my goddaughter, Cassandra Potter."

"Oh I remember, Sirius." Brooklyn said. "She is my niece after all."

"Where were you for the past fifteen years?" Cassandra asked. "We really could've used you."

"I was in the United States." Brooklyn replied. "I had death eaters chasing after me. I managed to escape. But then I had a dream. One about Sirius getting hurt, possibly even worse, in the Department of Mysteries. I decided I had to check it out for myself. Now I am here."

"Wait, hold up, your girlfriend?" Cassandra asked. "I thought Jack told me that you broke up!"

"Jack Dawson?" Brooklyn asked. "He's alive?"

"Yes." Cassandra replied.

"Oh my goodness!" Brooklyn exclaimed. "Sirius, do you know if Jonathan is alive?"

"I believe he is." Sirius replied.

"Who is this Jonathan guy?" Cassandra asked.

"Your uncle." Brooklyn replied. "My parents adopted him because his parents died right before Jack and I found him."

"Oh." Cassandra said.

"Cassandra, what kind of rules did Umbridge make?" Sirius wondered.

"She made a lot." Cassandra replied. "She made this like an extra house I guess you could say but specifically for the people she deemed as troublemakers. The people apart of her squad were there, keeping us in line. Some of us were even meant to share a room with them."

"Who was your roommate?" Sirius asked.

"Draco Malfoy." Cassandra said.

"That is interesting." Sirius said. "Putting a boy and a girl together. Especially in their teenage years."

"Oh my goodness, I bet the last thing Umbridge was thinking about was her students having sex." Cassandra said. "I'm pretty sure she was more worried about us using spells we weren't supposed to."

"Man cause I know what I would've done if I were you guys." Sirius said.

"Sirius Orion Black!" Brooklyn exclaimed.

"Yes that's my name honey, don't wear it out." Sirius smirked.

Brooklyn hit him lightly on the shoulder.

"Anyways, Cassandra, how was it being roommates with Draco Malfoy?" Brooklyn asked, attempting to change the subject into something less sexual.

"I was hardly ever there." Cassandra said. "He had to escort me to Hogsmeade whenever I wanted to go. However, he let me be once I got there. He said it was a specific favor he was doing for me. I really only ever saw him in classes or at night in our room. I often slept on the couch."

"He let you sleep on the couch?" Brooklyn asked. "What kind of man lets a woman sleep on the couch?"

"The type that doesn't care about the woman sleeping on the couch." Cassandra said, her eyes looking back down at her feet.

She didn't know why, but it hurts when she thinks about Draco not caring.

"Set your stuff upstairs, dear." Sirius said. "In the room that you slept in last time. We'll have some fun once you come back down. Alright?"

"Yeah." Cassandra said. "Thank you Sirius."

Cassandra disappeared up the stairs.Β
