Cassandra bumps into someone as she was looking for the train. She had lost the Weasleys and her two other friends already.
"Hey, Cassandra." Cedric said.
"Oh my goodness, I've got to stop bumping into you." Cassandra said.
"Oh, it's alright." Cedric replied. "Don't be a stranger this year, okay?"
"Yeah, I won't. I'll see you after dinner." Cassandra answered.
"Good."
Cassandra had a smile on her face. She was starting to like Cedric Diggory. Cedric was a good guy. Cassandra always valued kindness. And Cedric Diggory was kind. She set her trunk down and took Fluffy out of his cat carrier.
Cassandra boarded the train and went to go find her friends. She looked at every compartment until she found the one they were in.
"Finally." Cassandra muttered. She placed Fluffy on the seat next to Hermione. "How come you guys chose the farthest possible compartment to ride in?"
"Sorry, Cassie." Ron said. "We didn't know what entrance you went through so we chose the closest one to us at the time."
"Who do you think is going to be the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher?" Hermione asked.
"Alastor Moody." Cassandra replied, already knowing.
"How do you know?" Harry inquired.
"Dad is a teacher, duh." Cassandra said.
"I hope he's good." Ron said. "And nice too."
"He's one of the greatest Aurors of all time." Cassandra replied. "I think he's brilliant."
"Have you met him?" Harry wondered.
"Yeah, I have. He's very smart and talented. He's definitely going to be a great teacher."
"Let's hope he sticks around then." Harry stated.
"He can't." Cassandra said.
"What do you mean he can't?" Harry asked.
"Voldemort cursed the job." Cassandra explained. "No teacher can stay more than a school year."
"Wow, I didn't know that." Harry said.
"Not many people do." Cassandra replied. "Also, Harry, I need to talk to you later. It's about you know what."
Cassandra and Harry had been having the same dreams. She had one last night that was different from the rest. It was a very scary one and it made her worry.
"Alright." Harry replied.
"What are you two going to talk about?" Hermione questioned. "Why can't you just say it now?"
"This is neither the time or the place to be discussing this." Cassandra replied.
"What are you two hiding?" Ron asked.
"Nothing," Harry shrugged.
Cassandra and Harry really didn't want to discuss their dreams with Hermione and Ron. They knew Hermione would tell them to go see Dumbledore.

"Welcome students! This year I have some very exciting announcements for you all." Professor Dumbledore spoke at the podium. "Your Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher will be Alastor Moody. Give a huge round of applause to him! Next announcement, Hogwarts will be hosting the Triwizard Tournament. Students from Durmstrang and Beauxbatons will be arriving on Halloween! Assisting with the Triwizard Tournament will be Mr. Barty Crouch and Mr. Jack Dawson. Give a huge round of applause to them as well. The Triwizard Tournament is open to anyone of seventeen years of age and older."
"That's rubbish!" Fred and George yelled.
They weren't the only ones complaining either.
Cassandra wasn't paying attention to anything else Dumbledore had said. She was focusing on Jack Dawson. He was the man from the photo that Remus had given her. She wondered how this man couldn't age in the past thirty-four years. He looked really good. Cassandra wanted to talk to him and ask him who Brooklyn was.
The feast soon started up and food appeared on the table. Ron and Harry were already digging in, like usual, but Hermione was too busy invested in a book and Cassandra was too busy thinking about Brooklyn.
"Cassie, why aren't you eating?" Hermione asked.
"I'm sorry, I've just got something on my mind. Something that Remus said to me before he left." Cassandra replied.
"Oh, is everything alright?" Hermione inquired.
"Yeah everything is great." Cassandra lied.
She wasn't sure if she wanted to tell the others about what Remus had told her. She sighed and ate her food while listening to Hermione and Ron arguing. They were always arguing about something.
~~
"Excuse me, Mr. Dawson!" Cassandra called as she followed Jack Dawson out of the Great Hall.
"Yes?" Jack Dawson asked, turning around to face Cassandra. His eyes went wide at the sight of her.
"I have a couple of questions to ask you."
"Ask away."
"Do you know this girl in the picture?" Cassandra asked, pointing to the girl in the photo.
"Yes I do," Jack replied.
"What's her name?"
"Brooklyn."
"I know her first name, but what's her last?"
"I don't know if I'm allowed to say." Jack answered, fidgeting. "She's a sensitive topic at this school."
"Why?" Cassandra asked.
"Let's just say, she had some powers and accidentally hurt someone close to her." Jack replied. "Some of the staff didn't take it well and tried to get her expelled. But Dumbledore stood up for her and she wasn't expelled."
"Mr. Dawson, please I'm begging you, tell me her last name."
"Potter." Jack replied. "Brooklyn Euphemia Potter."
Cassandra stood there in shock. Her mind was racing with dozens of questions.
"Is she James Potter's sister?" Cassandra finally asked.
"Yes, in fact his twin." Jack responded. "I've said too much now. I must go Miss?"
"Rose." Cassandra replied. "Cassandra Rose."
"Nice to meet you." Jack replied. "I look forward to seeing you around."
Jack Dawson walked off. Cassandra wondered if Harry knew his father had a twin sister. She wondered what had happened to Brooklyn Potter. Now she was determined to find Brooklyn and find out more information. Jack might not help her but she knew someone who would.
~~
Cassandra stayed awake in the common room. She was reading one of her favorite books when Harry came downstairs.
"Hey, Cassie." Harry greeted.
"Hello Harry." Cassandra smiled. She set down her book to give her full attention to Harry.
"Anything interesting happen?" Harry asked.
"Nope, not really." Cassandra lied. "Anything interesting happen to you?"
"Nothing really." Harry replied. "Malfoy was being a jerk like always. He said some not so nice things earlier after dinner. I hope his pillow is warm tonight."
Cassandra laughed. "I hope so too."
The two sat there talking for at least another hour before going to bed. Cassandra enjoyed Harry's company and Harry enjoyed Cassandra's too.ย
