"Here are your schedules," said Professor McGonagall, handing the kids a sheet of parchment.

"Cassandra Rose Snape, your schedule is as follows. Hermione Jean Granger has the same schedule. Both please see Professor Dumbledore before beginning the first classes of the day.

Monday:

First period, 9:00 am - 10:00 am - Muggle Studies/Divination

Second period, 10:10 am - 11:10 am - Arithmancy/Care of Magical Creatures

Lunch, 11:20 am - 12:20 pm

Third period, 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm - Transfiguration

Fourth period, 1:40 pm - 2:40 pm - Potions

Fifth period, 2:50 pm - 3:50 pm - Defense Against the Dark Arts

Tuesday:

First period, 9:00 am - 10:00 am - Ancient Runes/Care of Magical Creatures

Second period, 10:10 am - 11:10 am - Potions

Cassandra looked over her list. She didn't like that Gryffindor house had to be stuck with Slytherin house for Care of Magical Creatures and Potions.

"Looks like we have to share quite a bit of classes with Slytherin," Hermione said, as if reading Cassandra's thoughts.

"Well boys, Hermione and I will be right back," Cassandra said, grabbing Hermione's hand.

"What's this for?" Hermione asked.

"To see Dumbledore," Cassandra answered.

"Oh right," Hermione said.

The two girls reached Professor Dumbledore's office. They walked up the spiral staircase and into Professor Dumbledore's office.

"Ah, I was wondering when the two of you were going to stop by," Professor Dumbledore chuckled. "What I am about to give you is very important. No one must know you have it. I am giving you two the power of the time turner. This time turner is to get you to each one of your classes, that way you can be in two places at once. You two must share it."

"Thank you, Professor, for everything," Cassandra said.

"Of course, Miss Rose. Now off you two go," Professor Dumbledore said.

"Where did you two go?" Ron asked.

"Girl stuff," Hermione simply replied.

"Okay," Ron said, not pressing the issue any further. Girl stuff was bound to make any male shut up.

"Looks like we have Divination first," Cassandra said, winking at Hermione. "Does anyone know where the classroom is?"

"Nope, not at all." Harry answered.

After three painfully long classes, Cassandra was finally ready to go to lunch. She walked into the Great Hall, taking a look at each of the tables. Someone came up behind Cassandra and put their hands on her eyes.

"Guess who!" the person said.

"Fred!" Cassandra guessed. The person lowered their hands from her eyes.

"How'd you guess?"

"I know your voice," Cassandra answered, turning to look at Fred.

"We've only known each other for like two months and you already know my voice?"

"Yeah, it's a bit higher than George's voice."

"Alright," Fred said. "Do you want to sit with me and Fred for lunch?"

"Sure, I'd love to," Cassandra replied. Fred intertwined his hand with Cassandra's and he made her skip to where they were going to sit. The two got some weird looks but it was always expected when Fred or George would do something weird.

"Georgie, look who I've brought with me," Fred said, sitting down across from his brother. Cassandra sat down next to him.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't Cassandra," George smirked.

"Hello, George," Cassandra smiled.

"What classes have you had so far?" George asked.

"Oh um, I've had Divination and Transfiguration," Cassandra answered. She didn't want anyone to know (besides Hermione) that she already had three classes this morning.

"Did McGonagall give you a hard time?" Fred asked.

"No, not at all. You see, I'm one of her favorites," Cassandra replied. "And I actually do my own work."

"Is that a dig at us?" George asked, pretending to be hurt.

"Maybe, maybe not."

"It definitely is a dig at us," Fred said.

"Yeah, Cassandra, you're not good at hiding things." George said. "Our little brother Ron, told us that you had red sparks coming out of your hands. What is that?"

"It's nothing." Cassandra replied, coolly.

"Cassandra, c'mon you can trust us."

"I know but seriously, it's nothing."

"Fine, we'll back off." Fred said.

"How was your first day?" Hermione asked Cassandra as she plopped down on the couch.

"Tiring, but I made it without getting lost." Cassandra answered. "What about yours?"

"It was also tiring, but it was good. I'm so excited for this year. It's going to be a good one."

"Yeah I hope so. Last year with that chamber of secrets stuff, wasn't that difficult?" Cassandra inquired.

"It was pretty difficult," Hermione responded. "It wasn't the best year but hopefully this year could make up for it. I have faith in this year."

"I really hope we have no issues with Sirius Black."

"Yes definitely. I'm scared that he's going to come to the school."

"Me too. We just have to hope that he doesn't."

"The first Hogsmeade trip is coming up, isn't it?" Cassandra asked.

"Yes it is." Hermione answered, getting up from the couch.

"Darn." Cassandra muttered. "I didn't get my form signed by my dad."

"Oh, I'm sorry Cassie." Hermione sympathized.

"It's alright." Cassandra shook her head. "Have you seen Harry and Ron?"

"Not since dinner." Hermione said. "I'm going to bed, you ought to as well."

Cassandra looked at the clock and it read ten o'clock.

"Yeah, I'll be up in a few." Cassandra said.

"Alright, I'll be in the shower." Hermione said.

Cassandra watched Hermione walk away from her and up the stairs. She stared at the fire cackling and sighed. It had been a long day for her.
