"We thought you had gone to the forest." Ron said as Harry and Cassandra found him and Hermione.

"We're going there now." Cassandra said.

"Are you two mad?" Ron asked. "No. You can't give yourselves up to him."

Harry and Cassandra stopped walking, wanting to say goodbye to their friends.

"What is it?" Hermione asked. "What is it you know?"

"There's a reason we can hear them." Cassandra said. "The Horcruxes. I think we've known for a while and I think you have too."

"I'll go with you." Hermione said, starting to cry.

Ron looked at the twins, his face expressionless.

"No." Harry said. "Kill the snake. Kill the snake and then it's just him."

Cassandra and Hermione hugged while Harry and Ron hugged. The twins walked down the stairs, holding each other's hands. They went into the forest when Harry abruptly stopped. He took out the snitch and looked at it.

"I'm ready to die." Harry said before blowing on the snitch.

The snitch opened up in Harry's hands and the resurrection stone came out. Harry looked at Cassandra then back at the stone. He picked up the stone before passing it to Cassandra. She closed her hand and her eyes. When she opened her eyes, Lily, James, Remus and another boy unknown to Cassandra stood there.

Harry walked up to Lily and wanted to hold her hand but his hand went right through hers.

"You both have been so brave." Lily said to her children.

"Why are you here?" Harry asked. "All of you?"

"We never left." Lily replied.

"You're Jonathan, aren't you?" Cassandra asked the unknown boy.

"Yes." Jonathan replied. "I'm technically your uncle."

"Does it hurt, dying?" Harry asked Jonathan.

"Quicker than falling asleep." Remus replied.

"You're nearly there kids." James said.

"We're sorry." Cassandra said. "We never wanted any of you to die for us. And Remus, your son."

"Others will tell him what his mother and father died for." Remus said. "One day, he'll understand."

"You'll stay with us?" Harry asked.

"Until the end." James said.

"And he won't be able to see you?" Cassandra asked.

"No." Remus replied. "We're here you see."

Remus pointed at the twins' hearts.

"Stay close to us." Harry said.

"Always." Lily replied.

Cassandra dropped the resurrection stone to the ground. The twins headed off to where Voldemort was. As they rounded the corner, Voldemort and Bellatrix and the others were waiting for them.

"Harry? Cassandra?" Hagrid yelled. "No! What are you doing here?"

"Quiet." A death eater instructed.

"Harry Potter." Voldemort said. "Cassandra Potter. The boy and girl who lived, have come to die. Avada Kedavra."

Everything went black.

Cassandra opened up her eyes and saw that she was in a bright white room. Harry was next to her and she smiled. If she had to die with anyone, she was glad it was Harry. Dumbledore came up to the twins.

"Where would you say we are?" Dumbledore asked as the three of them walked around.

"Well, it looks like King's Cross Station." Harry said. "Only cleaner."

"And without all the trains." Cassandra added.

"King's Cross, is that right?" Dumbledore asked. "I expect you both realize that you and Voldemort had been connected by something other than fates. That night in Godric's Hollow all those years ago."

"So it's true then sir?" Harry asked. "A part of him lives within us, doesn't it?"

"It did." Dumbledore said. "It was just destroyed so many moments ago by none other than Voldemort himself. You both were the horcruxes he never meant to make."

"We're not really dead, are we?" Cassandra asked. "The part of Voldemort inside us is what he killed and not us. We have to go back, haven't we?"

"That is up to you." Dumbledore replied.

"So we have a choice?" Harry asked.

"Oh, yes." Dumbledore replied. "We're in King's Cross you say? I think if you so desire, you'll be able to board a train. A train that takes you on."

"Voldemort has the elder wand." Cassandra said.

"It's true." Dumbledore shrugged.

"And the snake's still alive." Cassandra said.

"It is."

"We have nothing to kill it with." Harry said.

"Help will always be given at Hogwarts to those who ask for it, Harry. I always praised myself for the ability to turn a phrase. Words are in my not so humble opinion, our most inexhaustible source of magic, capable of both inflicting injury and remedying it. But I would in this case, mend my original statement to this: help will always be given at Hogwarts to those who deserve it. Do not pity the dead. Pity the living, and above all, all those that live without love."

"Professor, my mother's patronus was a doe, wasn't it?" Harry asked. "The same as Professor Snape's. It's curious, don't you think?

"Actually if I think about it, it doesn't seem curious at all." Dumbledore said. "I'll be going now."

"Professor?" Harry asked. "Is this all real? Or is it just happening inside our heads?"

"Of course it's happening inside your head, Harry. Why should that mean that it's not real?"

Cassandra was pulled out of that reality when she felt a hand on her shoulder. The hand was soft and the atmosphere around them was silent.

"Draco...Draco, is he alive?" Narcissa asked.

The twins nodded subtly.

"Dead!" Narcissa announced.

Voldemort and his followers made their way up to the castle. Hagrid was carrying Cassandra and Harry in his arms as he tried to stay strong. The bridge and courtyard were in ruins and rubble was everywhere. As the Death Eaters made their way to the entrance, Neville came out first, Ginny right behind him. Soon others joined them outside.

"Who are those two people Hagrid is carrying?" Ginny asked. "Neville, who are they?"

"The Potter twins are dead!" Voldemort said.

"No!" Ginny shrieked, stepping forward but Arthur Weasley held her back.

"Silence, stupid girl." Voldemort said. "The Potter twins are dead. From this day forth, you will put your faith in me. The Potter twins are dead! And now it's time to declare yourself. Come forward and join us or die."

"Cassandra!" Draco started running towards her but Blaise tackled him and held him back.

Draco sank to his knees and started crying.

"Draco..." Voldemort said.

"Draco." Lucius called.

It was only when Narcissa called Draco, he came forward.

"Ah!" Voldemort said. "Well done, Draco. Well done."

Voldemort attempted to pull Draco into a hug but Draco pushed him away. Draco walked up to his mom and Narcissa held him in her arms. Narcissa held Draco as he sobbed in her arms.

Neville limped forward with the sorting hat in his hand.

"Well, I must say that I hoped for better." Voldemort said. "And you might you be, young man?"

"Neville Longbottom."

"Well, Neville, I'm sure we can find a place for you in our rank." Voldemort sneered.

"I'd like to say something!" Neville spoke louder.

"Well, Neville, I'm sure we'd all be fascinated to hear what you have to say."

"It doesn't matter that Harry and Cassandra are gone."

"Stand down, Neville." Seamus instructed.

"People die everyday." Neville said. "Friends, family. Yeah, we lost Harry and Cassandra tonight. They're still with us, in here. So is Remus, Tonks, all of them. They didn't die in vain. But you will, because you're wrong. Harry and Cassandra's heart did beat for us, for all of us. It's not over!"

Neville took the Sword of Gryffindor out of the sorting hat. Many of the death eaters stepped back. That's when Cassandra and Harry dropped to the ground.

And Voldemort realized that the twins were alive.
