"Let's murder Y/n on her upcoming eighteenth birthday!" Your dad said with a desperate spark in his eyes.

"but she didn't sign the papers yet..." your trail of thoughts got cut off when you heard them continuing their conversation.

Hold up y/n!

Hear them out first!

You hid behind one of the closed door while the other was open, their voice clear and comprehensible.

"WHAT!? You didn't make her sign the papers yet? Are you kidding me yeobo!? You literally treated her like your own daughter! You kept her wrapped around your fingers with your sweet talk! All you have to do now is make her sign the property papers and then we can easily get rid of her!" you couldn't believe your own ears when you heard that, they must be kidding right?

It must be a prank.

"but...I don't want us to murder her..." your aunt, whom you treated as your own mother hesitantly trails off.

S-she is a good person, right?

"It took years for me to raise her up, she's so beautiful and a virgin, can we not sell her? Maybe to some rich old man? What about your cousin brother? Let's sell y/n to him and we can get more money along with the property!" something was odd about her tone, she sounded insane, greediness dripping from her wrinkled face.

D-Disgusting!

You held back a gasp, your palm pressed over your lips as tears spilled down your cheeks.

"good idea but we need to eradicate her, what if she comes back asking for the property or something? Argh! You know what? She's dumb now, make her sign the papers tonight and then we can gift her to Joon, he has helped us a lot in planning everything out as well." Your uncle says while gripping your aunt's hands, his face determined and serious.

"What if Joon uses her against us? No! Kill her! Let's kill y/n I don't want other money, all the property is enough! More than enough! I...I will make her sign them tonight once she's back from the camp, her birthday is tomorrow anyway, we can just kill her right after she signs them! Let's do that honey!" She shakes his shoulders as he seems to think for awhile.

Am I dreaming?

"okay, tonight should be the so called princess y/n's last night!" A sinister smirk creeps over your uncle's lips.

"What are you doing here?" You flinched when you heard a manly voice right behind you, goosebumps crawled up your skin as you turned around to look at him. A tall and muscular man with some papers in his hands was standing behind you with one of his eyebrows raised.

Your aunt and uncle jerked their heads towards the door when they heard the unknown man's voice.

"Who is there, Joon?" Your aunt asks.

"Y/n is here-" before he could say anything more, you ran through  the space beside him.

"y/n wait!" he shouted, now running behind you. His long legs making it easier for him to run nearer to you.

You were shocked, scared and totally petrified.

"Fuck! That bitch heard us! Catch her Joon! We need to end her right away! Quick!" you heard your uncle shouting from behind, his words worsening your state of mind.

"y/n stop! It won't end nice if I end up hunting you down!" the unknown man, apparently named Joon, shouted and continued running behind you until you took a sharp turn in a corridor and hid behind the wall, he turned and ran forward, not noticing you.

"g-god help m-me!" you sobbed but gathered up your strength to take another turn and run ahead.

You dashed out of the main door, one of bodyguards saw you started running behind you until he tripped over the road, you ran further towards the camp but the idea didn't convince you enough.

Why if my school teachers give me back to them? No one here could help me...no one...

You furiously looked around, not even one person here to help you out.

Forest...

The lone forest...

You followed your instinct and without another thought ran into the forest, the forest started getting deeper the more you ran in, like a never-ending abyss.

You held one of the trees, stopping and hyperventilating until you heard the voice of leaves crumbling behind you.

You whipped you head around only to see the same bodyguard standing behind you, a victorious smirk haunting his face.

"h-how did y-you f-find m-me!?" you mumbled, still trying to catch your breathe.

"Stupid! You have camera's and GPS all over your body." He chuckles and walks forward.

"s-stop! S-stop right th-there!" You cried out.

"No way! First I'll have a piece of you..." he scrutinizes you from head to toe, licking his lower lip and walking forward.

"p-please d-don't-" you suddenly noticed the rock lying under your feet, without any second thoughts you reached out for it and threw it right on his head. He groaned in pain as pools of blood gushed down his forehead.

Run y/n!

You turned away and started running again, tears staining your cheeks and legs hurting from the long run.

"Your body is covered with camera's and GPS" his words made you halt on your place.

What do I do?

You gulped, holding your shirt and pulling it off, plucking out your diamond studded hairpins and your shoes, tie and skirt as well, you managed to notice the camera's which were actually installed in every piece of your attire. The cold air hit your bare skin, making you hiss and wrap hands around yourself and continue running deeper into the forest.

The cold air freezing your petite form, only a pair of bicycle shorts and sports bra covering your skin.

But you didn't give up, took few minutes to breathe and continued running deeper and deeper until the second signboard showed up.

BEWARE OF WILD ANIMALS!☠️

Those wild animals couldn't be worse than those fake people right?

Dry leaves crunched down your feet as you ran for your life.

There's no time to think, all you could do was run further and further into the woods.

Your family, your friends and your faith in humanity was lost.

Being on the verge of loosing your sanity, all that came to your mind was the dark mysterious forest that everyone has told you not to step into.

But you did, and regardless of the enthralling and spine chilling eerie silence in the dark lone forest, you were starting to feel safe, safe and secure because you were away from humans...

"Why am I even a human!?" You cried out the moment you seemed to reach the thickest and deepest part of the woods.

Your knees gave up, your heart clenched with pain and betrayal...

"W-why!? Why did they do this to me..." You sobbed out, clutching the  left side of your chest.

Everything seemed fake now...everyone seemed fake...

Until you heard that growl...

That nerve wrecking yet curiosity sparking growl...

That Cryptic Growl...
