Leslie pours herself a glass of champagne and takes a sip, she had been waiting for her brother to show up. The job was finished, they were having a cookout now but Leslie didn't feel like it was done. Cipher was still out there. The woman who murdered her husband was still alive. And she couldn't allow herself to feel peace until she knew Cipher was six feet in the ground. The pain of losing him wouldn't leave her body until she had herself some justice.

As she walks to the table she gave up on the small glass and settled for the entire bottle instead. "I get it. Y'all got a lot in common. Computer hacks, God's Eye, geeks, nerd...you know." Leslie raised a brow, overhearing the conversation between the holy trinity. "But we got a lot in common, too, right?" She chuckles to herself, going to stand next to Ramsey to listen in closer on whatever this was about.

"Like what?" Tej questions.

"We walk into the room and we're oozin' sex appeal. Me and you, hip to hip, is a problem. I'm askin' a real question right now. Is it gonna be "Revenge of the Nerds" or "The Dark Knight?" Huh?" Roman grins, meanwhile Tej feigned offense. Leslie looks to Ramsey for her expected answer. "To be honest, I like both of you. But just before we get into all of that, let me ask you one question." Ramsey says.

"You can ask me anything." Tej states, and gosh did Leslie want to laugh so hard at this. These two were so whipped it was crazy to see. Roman nods in agreement, "anything."

"What's my last name?" Tej and Roman go quiet, probably for the first time in their lives. Leslie grinned, this was so worth the effort of listening to. "When you guys figure it out, then, I guess you can let me know." Leslie leaned forward and used her hand to push Ramsey's hair back, whispering the hackers full name with a smirk. Ramsey smiles, blush rising on her cheeks as Leslie leaves the interaction happening where Tej tries to say her last name is gonna be Parker.

Leslie leaned against the balcony, overlooking the view of the city as she took another large gulp of champagne. "Y'all sure she ain't an alcoholic?" Roman mumbles, causing Tej to hit his shoulder for the unnecessary comment. The door opens and Mr. Nobody along with Little Nobody walk in, heading towards Hobbs to inform him that he got his job back. The door opened again, causing them to look over and see Deckard Shaw, holding a baby carrier with a man behind him.

Deckard immediately notices Leslie, her back turned, he nudges Lucas who looked over and nodded. He separated from the man and walked over to his sister who took another large gulp of the champagne. "You're not grieving me, are you? Cause I'm still alive. A little traumatized, but I'm alright." Lucas shrugs. Leslie turned to see him standing next to her, she smiled, immediately throwing her arms around him.

"It's good to see you too, sister." He smiles softly, wrapping his arms around her smaller frame. He couldn't even remember the last time they hugged, or genuinely showed this kind of affection. Leslie pulled away, examining his face for anything wrong but he seemed to be okay. "I am so sorry that I got you dragged into this. I had no idea that she would go after you. I'm sorry I wasn't there to save you."

Lucas shrugs lightly, he didn't blame her at all. It wasn't even her intention to target Cipher in the first place. "It's okay, Les. You still sent your boyfriend to save my ass, so alls well." Leslie furrowed her brows, now completely confused. "I'm sorry, boyfriend? What are you going on about?" She questions. Lucas raised a brow, "Uh, Deckard Shaw isn't your boyfriend? That's odd, it seemed like he was. He talked about you in the car ride like he was in love with you or something."

Leslie looked down, trying to process what her brother just said. "He's alive?" Her voice was barely audible but he still heard it. "Leslie, he's standing right there." She looked over as he pointed at Deckard who was finishing up his conversation with Dominic. She scoffs under her breath, going back to that day, the way Deckard had been shot was too sudden, and Dom wasn't exactly a killer. She should've known. She should've connected the dots. If only she wasn't so grief-stricken she would've realized.

"Did he hurt you or something?" Lucas questioned, leaning against the balcony as she watched the interaction between the two men.

"Something like that," she muttered. "Do you want me to kill him?" Lucas asks as Deckard starts to make his way over to the siblings. Leslie raised a brow with a light scoff, "don't make me laugh." Lucas rolls his eyes, but smiles, missing the bickering with his sister. Deckard stood in front of her, almost waiting for her hand to raise and slap him across the face. Of course he couldn't blame her. Having her witness him getting shot after losing her husband was a tad harsh.

"Just hear me out?" He proposed. Leslie didn't say anything, leading him to speak and try to make her understand. "You would've done the exact same thing if you were in my position. I did what had to be done. And I apologize that you had to be caught in the crossfire. It was not at all my intention to hurt you. You know I wouldn't do that to you."

Leslie raised her finger, causing him to stop and she pursed her lips. "See, that's where you're wrong. I would have told you, because if you care for someone even in the slightest, you don't want to hurt them. But no, I'm not some fragile little girl who got her feelings hurt. I wasn't caught in a crossfire because there wasn't one. We worked together on a job, that's it. Whatever decisions you made, that's on you. I made the mistake of opening up. That's on me. I apologize." She said.

"Leslie-"

She sighs, shaking her head as she cuts him off. "Look, I am very appreciative of you saving my brother, not that I asked, or even told you he was on that plane, but grateful nevertheless. But this was all business, just business, nothing else. So, if you'll excuse me. We must be going." Leslie moves past him, dragging her brother along, leaving Deckard to watch her go. He didn't even get a slap. That's how he knew he really fucked up. Not even an exclamation of anger.

Leslie walked over to Dom and Letty who had also witnessed the scene. "Hi, I wanted to thank you for inviting me, but I must be going. We have a flight to catch and my brother needs to be with his fiancรฉ, so I hope you understand." She explained shortly, offering a smile, trying to ignore the baby that reached his small hand at her.

"Of course. Just remember you're always welcome." Dom smiles, extending a hand to shake the siblings hands. Letty moved to embrace Leslie, "I hope you find your happiness, too." She smiles, giving Letty's hand a small squeeze before taking a step back as Dom thanks Lucas for taking care of his baby after Elena had been killed. "Call me if you need anything. I'm always there for you." Leslie said, giving them a nod before following Lucas to the door, trying to ignore the eyes on her.

"You should've at least smacked the lad," Lucas comments, referring to Deckard.

"He's not worth it."

"Leslie! You're back!" Keira cheered, getting up from her sofa to run over to her best friend. Leslie grinned, letting her friend pull her into an embrace. "How'd the job go?" She asks, pulling away and walking over to the sofa with Leslie following. "Uh, it was alright. My brother is safe and sound, and the bitch who killed my husband is still out there." Leslie explains, moving to pick up her pet cat, Lani.

Keira frowned, she hated that Leslie was still going through this. "You know what could help take your mind off this?" Leslie sat down and raised a brow, wondering where this was going. "What are you proposing?" Keira stood up and grabbed her keys, lifting them up. "How 'bout we go for a drive?"

Leslie grins, standing up abruptly causing Lani to jump off of her lap. "You know me so well."

They arrived at a streetrace in London, Leslie hadn't been there for quite a minute. Keira climbed out of the car, immediately going to see her boyfriend, Chris. Leslie leaned against her car, looking around to see which car she wanted to take. And then, her eyes landed on him. Of course he was here. Why wouldn't he be here? Leslie walked over to Keira, scowling at the latter's boyfriend. "Hey, Kei. You mind if I head out? I got business to take care of."

Keira leaned against Chris and nodded, knowing what kind of business Leslie was talking about. "Go ahead, girl. Chris can take me home."

Leslie walked to her car and climbed in, driving off abruptly. She glanced in her rear view mirror seeing him right behind her. Leslie pulled to an abandoned parking lot and climbed out, watching as his car pulled to a stop in front of her. He climbed out, studying her body language. "You're stalking me now? That's not very polite." Leslie spoke, leaning against her car with her hands tucked into her coat.

"If you hadn't up and left me, I wouldn't have to." Deckard said with a light shrug.

"You're lucky all I did was leave. Why are you here? I meant everything I said before. I don't want your apology, because it's not necessary." She stated, crossing her arms firmly over her chest as he approached her. "Yeah well, others might buy that but I don't. We had something, you can't deny it." Leslie scoffs, quick to deny his statement, "had something? I think you're mistaken. We didn't have anything. If we had something, you would've told me the truth."

He nods. "You're right, and I'm sorry. I should've told you. But that doesn't mean we didn't have something. We do, have something going on. You can keep lying to yourself, trying to put on that cold demeanor but truth is, you unfold everytime you see me. And you absolutely hate it. Cause you're not used to someone having such power over you. You think it makes you weak-" Leslie raised a brow as she cuts him off, "it does, it does make me weak."

"Except it doesn't. Because face it, no one could ever have power of you, not your mother, and certainly not me. If anything, you have power over me. Cause in the week we've known each other, I have not been able to stop thinking about you. I want to be with you, Leslie. And I won't stop trying to get you to fall in love with me. Push me away all you want. I will come back every time." Deckard set his hands on her shoulders, and to his relief, she didn't try to shove him away.

Leslie looked away, not answering him as she took time to really think. Should she follow her heart? Should she finally drop all those walls she worked so hard to build up around herself? Should she finally work up the courage to move on from her husband? Was she ready for this? "Look, if you really don't want to pursue anything, just tell me and I will leave and never bother you again." He said, obviously wanting to respect her options but he was really hoping that she didn't want that.

Leslie closed her eyes, setting her hands over his, she slowly removed them from her shoulders. She ignored that voice that kept telling her to give in and let him love her. But, she couldn't. And it's not that she didn't want to love him or try to pursue this. She just didn't want to forget her husband. She didn't want to forget the love she had for him. She wasn't ready to leave him in her past. She wasn't ready to let go. "I'm sorry. Truly, I am so so sorry. But I can't. I'm not ready to let him go."

Deckard dropping his hands, nodding, trying to hide his disappointment but anyone with half a brain could see his heart breaking. "Call me when you're ready." Leslie watched as he climbed into his car and sped off. The minute he was out of sight, her fist hit the hood of the car in anger. She was angry at herself. She always did this. She always pushed away everything good. As much as she said she was nothing like her mother, this was a key trait from Lyra. And she hated it.

She was pushing away someone who was willing to love her. Again, and this time, she might actually regret it.
