The crew raced down the streets of New York, conducting a plan to catch Dom. Leslie drove swiftly beside Deckard, both of them separating from the crew as according to the plan. She turned the corner, Deckard right behind her. "I have eyes on Toretto," she hums. Leslie and Deckard pull up behind Toretto, as the rest of the team trapped him in from the front. He had no where to go. "Guys, I know why Dom's here. Police scanners are saying he stole a nuclear football," Ramsey informs them over the radio.
Leslie closed her eyes for a few seconds, her mind wandering off to her brother. If they did catch Dom, Cipher would kill Lucas without hesitation. Sure, she wasn't exactly close with him anymore but they were still blood and she cared about him. So maybe, catching Toretto wasn't the best idea. Not to mention Cipher must've had a ton of leverage over this man, possibly holding someone he cared about hostage. Who knows? Leslie certainly didn't.
Hobbs pulled down the police radio to speak. "It's over, Toretto. Get your ass outta the car now." Dominic simply revved up his engine in a challenging manner. "So, that's how you wanna play this? Let's play."
"Stay in your positions!" Leslie warned, Dom drove forward. "He's going for it!" Little Nobody falls for the trap, speeding forward. "What are you doing?!" Letty yells. "It's a trap!" Little Nobody's mistake gives Dom the chance to dodge him, driving straight through a flower shop. "You idiot!" Leslie hits her fist angrily on the wheel. She stepped on the gas pedal, driving through the flower shop and after Dom, the crew on his tail. "Now I know what it feels like to be every cop ever chasing us!" Tej shouts.
"We are so never going on that date!" Leslie exclaims towards Little Nobody.
Roman's eyes widened. "Hold on, you gon' go out with the white boy over ya mans right here?! That's just ludicrous!" Little Nobody furrows his brows in offense. "No, no, you already agreed! There's no backing out!" Leslie rolled her eyes, letting out a small scoff, at the corner of her eye she spots Deckard in his car, his jaw clenched as he listened to the conversation. Was he jealous? Or mad? Or possibly annoyed? She had no idea and it was driving her crazy. She wanted to know what he was thinking.
"Hard to argue when I kill you! Now, move out of my way or speed the hell up! I thought you could drive for goodness sake!" Leslie drifts around a car to avoid hitting it and the family of five inside it. "I'm gonna get a little closer. I'm gonna PIT him." Little Nobody says through the radio, Leslie rolls her eyes, "Please explain to me why we needed him? You can't just PIT a Toretto." Roman seemed to agree with her, also wondering what was going through this man's head. "Oh, so, you just gonna PIT, Dom? Little Nobody has clearly lost his little mind."
Dom drifts the corner, Little Nobody right behind him with the rest of the crew on his tail. "I'm on him," Little Nobody said.
"Easy. Work together." Hobbs warns.
Dom knocks down a construction site, the large metal dropping down on Little Nobody and trapping his car. Leslie pressed down on the brakes before she could get trapped in as well, Deckard stopping right next to her. "I'll take the short cut!" Hobbs drove right through with his truck.
Leslie rolled down her window, gesturing for Deckard to do the same. "Let's go around the block, trap him in there! Stay near me!" She orders, putting the gear in reverse and backing up, pulling it back in drive, Deckard was quick to drive next to her. Letty and Tej had used the grappling hooks to hook Dom's car from the back. Leslie was next, hitting Dom's car in the side on the back end. Deckard hooked onto his right door next before Hobbs hooked onto his left. Lastly was Roman, who hooked onto his front.
"Strech him out! Hold him!" Hobbs orders the crew.
Leslie shifted the gear to reverse and backed up, all of them doing the same, smoke extenuating from their tires. "He's gotta have about 2,000 horsepower in that thing," said Hobbs. "Try 3,000!" Tej adds. Leslie and Deckard shared looks, seeing sparks of fire surrounding their own tires. "Try five," they states simultaneously. "You all realize he won't just surrender. Did we really think anything through after this part?" Leslie accused, stepping on the gas pedal harder.
Dom pressed on his nos, causing Roman to step on his gas and breaks. Dom put the gear in drive and crashed straight into Roman's Bentley, the latter yelling at this. Roman backs up, only for the line to drag his car, flipping him onto his front. Dom hits out his left door, the force hitting Hobbs's truck and knocking him onto his side. Dom backed up in through Tej and Letty, causing their cars to flip in front of each other. The force causing Deckard and Leslie to crash into Tej and Letty, and Leslie's car flips over in the process.
"Oh fuck," she groaned, kicking her door open. She crawled out, and immediately seen Dom run off with the case. Deckard slid over his car, chasing after the man. She looked down at her now dislocated shoulder and sighed. She popped it in place quickly and ran after Deckard, stopping at a corner when Dom pulled a gun on him. "They though this was gonna be a street fight." Her eyes widened, shaking her head, she goes for her gun, only to see it wasn't in it's strap, which meant it fell out in the crash. "Shit. No."
"What are you waiting for, Toretto?" She couldn't even react before Dom shot him down twice. "No!" It took a her second to realize it wasn't her voice, but Hobbs's. She couldn't even react, it all happened so fast, not even giving her a second to. Dom's eyes landed on hers, and for a split second he could see the hurt on her face. She had cared about Deckard. She had actually started to care about him. And now, he was gone.
The police sirens pulled her from her thoughts and she ran off, Hobbs right behind her. The only thing on her mind was him. This always happened to her. Everyone she even showed the slightest affection for was taken from her. Why did it have to be him, though?

She leaned against the stairs with her arms crossed firmly on her chest, her mind only on few things. The main one had been her brother. There was no chance he was alive now. Deckard was dead. Dom had gotten away. Her brother was probably dead too with her luck. She wanted to drop this mission. It was no use now. But, she couldn't. Not yet at least. Not unless she knew her brother was dead. The minute she heard confirmation on his death is when she would give up.
So, right now, she wasn't gonna give up. She was going to fight, save Dominic, save her brother Lucas, get revenge for Deckard, and put a bullet between Cipher's eyes. She never should've gotten attached in the first place. Now she knew that. So, she closed up, went back into her blank state, no recognizable expression on her face. It was genuinely concerning to witness. They had never seen someone so...emotionless.
She glanced up to see Little Nobody walking over looking pretty defeated. "Anything?" Hobbs questions. He shook his head, "they're gone. And DOD confirmed it was a nuclear football. He's got an EMP and nuclear launch codes. I don't know what it is, but they're building towards something." Leslie scoffs under her breath. "Wrong. Cipher has nuclear launch codes. Cipher, is building towards something. Dom is just her puppet. Our goal should be to stop Cipher."
They all share looks knowing she was right. The goal wasn't just to save Dom anymore. It was to stop Cipher. Hobbs glanced her way for a split second before his eyes land on Little Nobody. "Deckard?" Little Nobody's eyes landed on Leslie who seemed quite unbothered, not showing much of a reaction but deep down they all had a feeling that she was pissed. "He didn't make it."
Hobbs stood up, he angrily punched the metal door, leaving a large dent in it before storming off. Leslie pursed her lips and walked off to her car. Letty, who sat on stairs, was thinking about her interaction with Dom and another man who worked for Cipher. "Can you pull up the footage from the guy in the alley?" She requested. "Traffic cams," Ramsey says to Tej who was quick to oblige and pull up a picture of the ginger haired man.
"I knew it." Letty stood up quickly, walking over to the monitor. "I recognize that guy. That's Connor Rhodes. I met him when I was working with Shaw's brother. He wanted us to get the Nightshade device for him." She explained. "Connor Rhodes. He's also linked to somebody I'd quite like to forget." Ramsey states, looking at the profile of the man who had held her captive once upon a time.
"It's Mose Jakande," Hobbs explains to Little Nobody, joining in on the conversation. "Warlord who tried to get God's Eye."
"Which means that's twice that Dom has messed up Cipher business." Tej says in realization.
"Yes, that's quite right." Leslie approaches them, standing next to Letty, she tosses a flash drive to Ramsey who was quick to plug it in and pull up the file. Lucas Creed's profile appeared. "See, when Mr. Nobody found me, it was for my help, and at that point I wanted to avenge my husband. Until, I got this message." Ramsey clicks on the video Leslie points to and the video Cipher had made that her mother sent her played. They all tensed up, sharing uncomfortable looks. Seeing someone held captive and being tortured wasn't a pleasant.
"Exactly. See, that is my brother. He is why I am here. And you're probably wondering why Cipher has got this vendetta against me and keeps killing anyone I care about. Well, it goes all the way back to my first mission. Let's just say, I got involved in something that I shouldn't have. I messed with her business, and at first, it wasn't a big deal. Until, I did it a second time. She didn't like that. So, she went after my husband as a warning. And now, she's after my brother." Leslie leaned against the table, her eyes focused on her brother's file. He didn't deserve this.
"My brother is just 25. He's young. He's got a fiancé. He's got his whole life ahead of him. He doesn't deserve to have his life taken because he's related to me. Now, you can see why I'm very persistent on stopping her. So let's this be known, I will do everything and anything to save him. And if I am willing to go rogue to do that, I imagine Cipher has something or rather someone, who means a lot to Dom. Anyways, my point is, your friend or whatever, didn't turn his back on you without a good reason."
Roman sighs, she had a very good point. "And now the question is, who the hell does Cipher have?"
Leslie snaps her fingers, bringing the attention back to her. "See, that is a question that I have an answer to." Letty furrowed her brows, watching anxiously as Leslie bends down and types on the computer. She pulls up the video Cipher had sent with her brother, and zoomed into a blurry woman in the background. She did a facial search and profile of a woman named Elena Neves popped up. Everyone's eyes widened and she raised a brow at the tension. "That woman is why Toretto went rogue my friends. I assume by the looks on your faces, you know her?"
Tej let's out a sigh, the only ones who didn't know who this was were Leslie, Ramsey and obviously Little Nobody. But Tej, Letty, Hobbs, and Roman all seemed to recognize her by the looks on their faces. "Damn it, she's got Elena. Now it makes sense." Tej mumbles. Hobbs sighs, "should've known."
Leslie scoffs loudly, making them look back over to her. "Please, you think that's the only thing Cipher has on him? Sorry to be insensitive but Dom screwed up his mission when he pulled a gun on Rhodes. With the way Cipher works, Elena is probably dead. She wasn't the only thing keeping Dom there. Look at this." Leslie zoomed in on the baby crib in the background, a blurry figure of a child sitting in it. "She has a child. That, is what's keeping Toretto there."
Their eyes landed on Letty's, searching her face for a reaction. She was shocked to say the less. It's not everyday you find out your husband has a child with another woman he'd been with when he thought you were dead. But, part of her was relieved to hear this. It meant Dom had a good reason for what he did. It meant that he didn't turn on his family just like that. Within a second, Letty's arms had wrapped around Leslie. The latter tensed up, not hugging back and just standing there awkwardly, not sure what to do. "Thank you," Letty mumbles.
"Sure," Leslie mumbled back, the woman pulled away, giving Leslie her room again. Leslie cleared her throat, "right well, you're welcome. I'm gonna work on my car." She pulled out the flash drive and walked away, clearly a little uncomfortable with the amount of emotions showed in that room. "So many emotions. I really need a vacation," she mutters.
A few hours later, Ramsey and Tej were trying to track Cipher using the information they had on Connor Rhodes. "The problem we've had with tracking Cipher is there's nothing to trace. But now, we have Rhodes information." Ramsey said. Leslie sat at the table, typing away on her computer, she was also tracking down Cipher, only she was using her own information she had. "And we're getting snapshots of his data before it's scrubbed off the net," Tej adds.
Roman looks over his shoulder, completely confused. "That's looks like somebody's bank account, so why don't we just go ahead..."
Hobbs walks over, interrupting the man. "It's a longitude. Given the fact that Dom hit a Russian motorcade, it's safe to say it's Russia. Go ahead and bring up the map." Tej does at said and pulls up the map on the monitor for Hobbs to overlook. "Good. Let's start here and run the possibilities."
"Yalta, Poltava...it's like they just threw letters together. Kronyurt." Tej said.
"It's Vladovin." Mr. Nobody spoke up from the stairs, gaining everyone's attention, excluding Leslie who was too focused on tracking Cipher's plane. "What are you doing here?" Little Nobody questions from behind Leslie. Mr. Nobody jogs down the stairs. "What? Told you I was gonna check in on you from time to time to see how you were doin'. By the way, not so hot."
"But there's nothing in Vladovin. It's just ice." Ramsey said in confusion. Leslie scoffs under her breath knowing that wasn't true. Mr. Nobody went to clear the confusion before she could. "That's funny. Could've sworn there was a secret Russian naval base where they retrofitted Cold War submarines. Well, technically, it's not Russian anymore. The base was taken over by a terror group of military separatists about a month ago, and the Russians haven't taken it back yet, so there is a little window of opportunity here."
"A small one, but still a window nevertheless," Leslie adds, her eyes still staring at the screen in front of her.
"Russian submarines. Nuclear football. It sounds like everything we do, our legs gonna be blown off." Roman complains, though he did make a good point, it was crazy dangerous. It was a good thing Leslie thrived on danger. "It sounds like you still 11 on the list," Tej insinuates with a laugh. "It sounds like you've changed since your little punk-ass facial hairs done came in." Roman shot back at him.
"Guys, guys." Little Nobody calls them, trying to get back on the important topic at hand. "Hey, we gotta call this in. All the way up the chain," he states. "That's good thinking, champ, except unfortunately, the Russian Minister of Defense get himself involved in a little incident on US territory, and the two governments aren't talking to each other for a while. By the time they do, it'll be too late. So, any other suggestions?" Mr. Nobody looks around for any bright ideas.
"Yeah. I got one." Hobbs said. "How about we just stop them ourselves?" He proposed.
"You're talking about a Russian military base." Little Nobody points out. "Separatists," his boss corrects. "Whatever. It's suicide."
"It's stopping World War III. What's it's gonna be, rook? You gonna close your eyes on this one, too? Pray that the apocalypse doesn't come knocking on your mama's front door? Or, are you gonna saddle up, be a man, and save the entire goddamn world?" Leslie couldn't help but roll her eyes at Hobbs's speech. "That's a bit dramatic," she mumbles under her breath so nobody could hear her.
Little Nobody picks up a crowbar, looking to his boss for a moment, "you know, I think I figured it out." Leslie glances over as the boss replies, already knowing the answer, "what's that?" She turned in her chair, becoming more intrigued. "Rule number three." Mr. Nobody raised a brow, "which is?" Little Nobody shrugs, his eyes flickering over to Leslie who held a smirk at the corner of her lips.
"There are no rules." He smashed the glass of the case on the wall that held the keys of every vehicle contained in the base.
Mr. Nobody chuckles and Hobbs grins. "What'd I tell you, Luke? I knew he'd get it in three."
"Aerial transport leaves in an hour. Take whatever vehicle you want. All bets are off." He states. Roman and Tej quickly stood up in unison. "All bets are off?" "Bets are off?" They both ask, speaking over each other.
"Do svidanya!"
