DOROTHY STOOD WITH her siblings as Caspian was just crowned as King. Trumpkin had placed the crown on Capsian's head and he rose as Aslan spoke.
"Once a King or Queen of Narnia, always a King or Queen. May your wisdom grace us until the stars rain down from the heavens." Aslan smiled at Caspian before everyone chanted King Capsian's name.
"Long live King Caspian!"
After the coronation, Dorothy rode on top of Aslan, next to Caspian who was riding his horse. Behind them were Peter and Susan and riding behind them were Edmund and Lucy. They all smiled as the Narnians cheered for the new king and they danced the night away as fireworks shot off into the sky.

"Narnia belongs to the Narnians, just as it does to man," King Caspian explained the next morning. Everyone was gathered around the small courtyard and Dorothy stood next to Lucy, listening as Caspian spoke. "Any Telmarine who wants to stay and live in peace is welcome to. But for any of you who wish, Aslan will return to the home of our forefathers."
"It's been generations since we left Telmar," A Telmarine spoke as the crowd began to murmur.
"We are not referring to Telmar," Aslan spoke strongly to the Telmarine. "Your ancestors were seafaring brigands. Pirates run aground on an island. There they found a cave, a rare chasm that brought them here from their world. The same world as our kings and queens." Dorothy shared a look with her siblings as Aslan explained. "Is it to that world I can return you? It is a good place for any who wish to make a new start."
"I will go," Everyone turned to the voice, and to their surprise, it was Glozelle, the man who was in charge of Miraz's army. "I will accept the offer."
Caspian nodded with respect as Glozelle returned it to him as he stepped forward. His widowed aunt, Prunaprismia, also stepped forward, holding her baby boy in her arms and the man beside her agreed to go as well.
"So will we," she spoke.
"Because you have spoken first, your future in that world shall be good," Aslan explained, smiling softly at them.
Dorothy watched as Aslan breathed softly on them and the tree behind them began to move. It formed an opening, much to the crowd's surprise, and the three stepped forward, disappearing into the opening. The crowd gasped as they murmured loudly.
"Where did they go?"
"They killed them."
"How do we know he is not leading us to our death?"
"Sire. If my example can be of any service," Reepicheep spoke up respectfully, "I will take 11 mice through with no delay."
Dorothy looked towards Susan and Peter, who shared a knowing look as Aslan looked towards them both. She looked between them in confusion, wondering what they had in mind.
"We'll go," Peter spoke up, stepping forward. His three younger siblings looked up at him in shock.
"We will?" Edmund asked softly.
"Come on. Our time is up," Peter stated firmly toward Susan before walking toward Caspian. "After all. . . we're not needed here anymore." He handed over his sword to Caspian, who took it with hesitation.
"I will look after it until you return," Caspian promised.
"I'm afraid that's just it," Susan says softly, catching the attention. "We won't be coming back."
"We're not?" Lucy asked in shock.
Peter looked between his three younger siblings ."You three are," he says before turning to Aslan. "At least, I think he means you three."
"But why?" Dorothy asked as she looked over at Aslan. "Did they do something wrong?"
"Quite the opposite, little lioness," Aslan replied with a soft gaze. "But all things have their time. Your brother and sister have learned what they can from this world. Now it's time for them to live on their own."
"Don't worry, Dora," Peter reassured, wrapping an arm around her. "It's not how I thought it would be. . . but it's all right. One day you'll see, too. Come on."
He grabbed her hand softly and led her and the others over to Glenstorm. As Peter shook hands with Glenstorm, Edmund, Lucy, and Dorothy all bowed to Professor Cornelius, Trufflehunter, Reepicheep, and Trumpkin. Lucy curtsied towards Trumpkin before the two shared a hug as Dorothy went over to Aslan, petting his fur softly.
"When will Edmund, Lucy, and I return?" Dorothy asked as tears began to form.
"Only time will tell, my little lioness. I will see you again, along with your brother and sister," Aslan spoke softly with a sad smile.
Dorothy returned his smile with her own before she wrapped her arms around his neck, burying her face into his mane and she felt him rest a paw on her back. She pulled away from the hug and kissed his nose softly, petting him once more before walking towards her siblings and standing next to Lucy, who held her hand softly and gave her a small smile.
They then looked over to Susan, who was just approaching Caspian. "I'm glad I came back," she says to him with a sad smile.
"I wish we had more time together," Caspian says, looking into her eyes.
"It wouldn't have worked out, anyways."
"Why not?"
She chuckled softly as she answered. "I am 1,300 years older than you," Susan replied before turning around to join her brothers and sisters. However, she turned back and kissed him on the lips before pulling back and the two shared a hug.
"Ew," Dorothy grimaced, causing Peter and Edmund to chuckle softly.
"I'm sure when I'm older, I'll understand," Lucy whispered to them and Peter chuckled once more.
Edmund smiled as he looked at his siblings. "I'm older and I think I don't want to understand," he explained to them.
Susan broke apart from the hug, giving Caspian one last smile before walking over to her siblings, standing between Dorothy and Lucy. The two grabbed Susan's hand, comforting their sister before looking back at the crowd.
After a few minutes, Edmund was the first to head towards the tree with Peter, Lucy, and Susan following him. Dorothy looked back towards Aslan one last time as she followed her brothers and sisters and he gave her an encouraging smile. One by one, the siblings walked through the opening, back into the subway wearing their school uniforms.
Dorothy glanced back behind her to see if Narnia was still there, but to her disappointment, it wasn't. She looked forward, watching as the people in the station rushed around onto the train and a boy walked onto the train before turning around, noticing the siblings, and smiling at Susan.
"Aren't you coming, Phyllis?" The boy asked with a smile.
The other siblings gave Susan a confused look, who scoffed as she rolled her eyes in annoyance. Quickly, the brothers and sisters grabbed their bags while Lucy picked up her hat, placed it on her head, and went on the train.
"When do you suppose we'll get back?" Edmund suddenly questioned, looking through his messenger bag. His siblings gave him a confused look as he smiled at him. "I left my new torch in Narnia."
Dorothy, Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy all laughed together while the boy behind them gave them a confused look. As the train began to ride off, Dorothy could hear a lion's roar and smiled, knowing it was Aslan, letting her know that he would always be with her.
