EVERYONE RAN QUICKLY  towards the frozen river, though it already has melted but their was still enough ice that could hold four siblings and two beavers.

"We need to get across, now!" Peter said frantically, holding Dorothy and Lucy's hands.

Lucy looked down at Mr. Beaver. "Don't beavers make dams?" she questioned him.

Beaver shook his head. "I'm not that fast, dear."

"Come on!" Peter says as he pulled his younger sisters with him.

"Wait!" Susan suddenly exclaimed, causing Peter to turn to her. "Will you just think about this for a minute?"

Peter gave her a look as he said, "We don't have another minute."

"I'm just trying to be realistic."

"No, you're trying to be smart. As usual."

Without another word, Peter began to walk away pulling Dorothy and Lucy along with him. Susan then joined them a few minutes later after hearing the wolves howling in the distance. They made it to the edge of the river and when Peter stepped on it, it cracked, causing him to recoil and Mr. Beaver stepped up.

"Wait. Maybe I should go first," Mr. Beaver told him.

Peter nodded in agreement. "Maybe you should."

Mr. Beaver proceeded to slowly walk on the ice, making it safe for the children with his tail and some of the ice cracks.

"You've been sneaking second helpings, haven't you?" Mrs. Beaver scolded him.

He gave a small, nervous chuckle and turned to face her. "Well, you never know which meal's gonna be your last. Especially with your cooking," Mr. Beaver continued on what he was doing and the siblings and Mrs. Beaver slowly followed him.

As they walked across the ice slowly, Dorothy was holding on to Peter and Susan was helping Lucy behind them. Dorothy lets out a shriek as she almost slipped if it wasn't for Peter grabbing onto her.

"If Mum knew what we were doing--"

"Mum's not here," Peter snapped, turning towards Susan.

Suddenly, ice fell down from the side of the mountain and they looked to see that the wolves have caught up to them.

"Oh, no!" Lucy exclaimed.

"Run!"

Everyone began to ran as fast as they could until Maugrim and his pack jumped in front of them, surrounding them. The girls screamed as Mr. Beaver growled at one of the wolves and in return, the wolf tackled him, causing Mrs. Beaver to yell out a 'No!' and Peter pulled out his sword, pointing it at the evil henchman of the White Witch.

"Put that down, boy," Maugrim growled. "Someone could get hurt!"

"Don't worry about me!" Mr. Beaver struggled against the wolf's grasp. "Run him through!"

"Leave now while you can, and your brother leaves with you."

Susan, believing the wolf's promise, stepped beside Peter. "Stop, Peter! Maybe we should listen to him!"

The wolf chuckled. "Smart girl."

"Don't listen to him!" Mr. Beaver argued. "Kill him! Kill him now!"

"Oh, come on. This isn't your war," Maugrim continues to taunt Peter. "All my queen wants is for you to take your family and go."

"Look," Susan begins again, losing her patience with Peter, "just because some man in a red coat hands you a sword, it doesn't make you a hero! Just drop it!"

"No, Peter! Narnia needs you!" Mr. Beaver cried out. "Gut him while you still have the chance!"

"What's it gonna be, Son of Adam?" Maugrim questions with a smirk. "I won't wait forever. And neither will the river."

Dorothy looked up when she heard the sound of rumbling. "Peter!" she exclaimed, causing the others to look as well.

The water started to break through the wall of ice. Peter quickly thought of something and looked between his sisters.

"Hold onto me!" he ordered and his sisters all grabbed him.

Peter lifted his sword and stabbed into the ice just in time as the wall of ice came crashing down. A huge wave formed and Dorothy , Lucy, and Susan all screamed as they were engulfed under water. A few seconds later, the siblings came back up.

The beavers pushed the ice berg to shore and Susan and Lucy both got off and onto the land. When they turned towards Peter, he was only holding Dorothy's coat and their eyes widened as they stared at him in shock and horror.

"What have you done?!" Susan exclaimed as she stared at Peter.

Lucy looked towards the river. "Dorothy!"

"Dorothy!" Susan and Lucy called desperately.

"Has anyone seen my coat?"

Everyone turned around and sighed in relief when they spotted their younger sister coming towards them all soaked and was shivering. She was trying to warm herself up by pulling her cardigan close to her.

"Don't you worry, dear," Mr. Beaver smiled as Peter wrapped Dorothy's coat around her. "Your brother's got you well looked after."

Mrs. Beaver glanced behind them and gasped softly. "And I don't think you'll be needing those coats anymore."

Everyone gazed to where she was looking and the snow was starting to melt. Winter has finally come to an end and because of this, they abandoned their coats before continuing their journey.

The sound of a horn went through as the siblings and beavers finally made it to Aslan's Camp. As the others continued, Dorothy heard rustling behind her and turned around to see petals from a tree being transformed into a woman. The petaled woman smiled and waved at her. Dorothy smiled and waved back softly before running to catch up to her siblings.

They looked around and noticed that the Narnian creatures stopped to stare at them. There were centaurs, fauns, cheetahs, and many other creatures. The Narnians begin to follow the siblings as they traveled through the camp.

"Why are they all staring at us?" Susan questioned uncomfortably but smiled none the less.

Lucy smiled and looked up at her. "Maybe they thing you look funny," she says, causing Dorothy to giggle and Peter to chuckle.

The siblings and beavers made it to the front of the camp, where a large red and gold tent was displayed. A centaur, who looked like he was the leader of the Narnians, was standing near and watched the siblings closely. Peter pulled his sword from his sheath and held it high.

"We have come to see Aslan," Peter announced with confidence, although there was also nervousness in his voice.

The crowd behind them began to murmur as the centaur looked towards the large tent and bowed. The crowd also bowed as well and a few seconds later, a large, majestic lion walked out of the tent, smiling towards the siblings, his smile lingering on Dorothy, who smiled back shyly. Like the Narnians, the siblings also crouched down and bowed towards Aslan.

"Welcome, Peter, Son of Adam. Welcome, Susan, Lucy, and Dorothy, Daughters of Eve," Aslan greeted in a majestic voice and they looked up as their names were called. "And welcome to you, Beavers. You have my thanks. But where is the fifth?"

"That's why we're here, Sir," Peter spoke as they stood up and he placed his sword back in his sheath. "We need your help."

"We had a little trouble along the way," Susan added.

"Our brother's been captured by the White Witch."

"Captured?" Aslan questioned as the crowd begin to murmur again. "How could this happen?"

Noticing the siblings' hesitations, Mr. Beaver answered for them. "He betrayed them, Your Majesty."

"Then he has betrayed us all!" The centaur scolded.

"Peace, Oreius," Aslan warned the centaur. "I'm sure there's an explanation."

"It's my fault, really," Peter says softly, causing his sisters to look up at him. "I was too hard on him."

Susan placed a comforting hand on his shoulder and looked up at Aslan. "We all were."

"Sir, he's our brother," Dorothy says in a soft voice, causing Alsan to turn his gaze on her.

"I know, dear one. But that only makes the betrayal all the worse," Alsan explained and turned to look at Peter. "This may be harder than you think."

After meeting with Aslan, the siblings and beavers were dismissed. A female centaur from camp took Dorothy and her sisters to a tent so they could dress into something more Narnian related while a male centaur did the same to Peter. After they got dressed, the sisters decided to explore while Peter was somewhere else in the camp.

"You look like Mummy," Dorothy says to her elder sister as she, Susan, and Lucy walked towards a small river bank that was near their tent.

Susan looked down at her sisters. "Mum hasn't had a dress like this since before the war."

"We should bring her one back!" Lucy suggested with a wide smile. "A whole trunk full!"

"Yeah! And we could play dress up, too!" Dorothy agreed as she smiled as well.

"If we ever get back," Susan muttered sadly, causing her younger sisters' smiles to disappear. Susan, realizing what she said, turned to them. "I'm sorry I'm like that. We used to have fun together, didn't we?"

"Yes," Lucy and Dorothy muttered in agreement.

"Before you got boring," the youngest of the three added, causing her and Lucy to giggle.

"Oh, really?"

Without warning, Susan bent down and splashed water onto her sisters, causing them to gasp in shock but still laughed. They splashed Susan back and continued to splash each other until they were soaking wet. The sisters laughed as they walked out of the river bank and Susan grabbed a towel. When she did, it revealed Maugrim and the sisters let out shrieks as the secret police surrounded them.

"Please don't try to run," Maugrim says as Susan quickly gathered Lucy and Dorothy behind her. "We're tired, and we prefer to kill you quickly."

Susan quickly looked around to see what do in order to escape. She spotted her horn and quickly through her towel at the wolf before running towards her horn as Lucy and Dorothy managed to climb up a tree. Susan blew her horn three times and joined her sisters as the wolves jumped up to try to get to them.

"Get back!" Peter shouted, running towards them with his sword in hand.

"Peter!"

The wolves turned towards Peter, who had his sword pointing between both of them.

"Come on," Maugrim taunted. "We've already been through this before. We both know you haven't got it in you."

"Peter!" Susan shouted and Peter pointed his sword at the third wolf. "Watch out!"

Suddenly, the wolf was pinned to the ground by Aslan, who let out a war. The Narnians came running behind him and was about to help Peter when Aslan stopped them.

"No! Stay your weapons," Aslan commanded. "This is Peter's battle."

"You may think you're a king, but you are going to die. . ." Maugrim taunted before launching himself towards Peter, "like a dog!"

Dorothy and her sisters screamed, calling out Peter's name as Maugrim attacked Peter. The three jumped from the branch and rushed towards their brother. Susan pushed Maugrim's limp body off of him and Peter sat up, breathing heavily, eyes wide and in shock. He then turned towards his sisters, who without hesitation, tackled him a hug.

The wolf that Aslan had pinned down was let go and he scrambled to his feet before running off into the forest.

"After him. He'll lead you to Edmund," Aslan orders Oreius. The centaur nodded his head and followed after the wolf with the other Narnians after him. "Peter. Clean your sword."

Peter stood up and went to the river bank to clean his sword. He came back and kneeled in front of Aslan. Aslan placed his paw on Peter's shoulder.

"Rise, Sir Peter Wolf's-Bane," Aslan announced and placed his paw on Peter's other shoulder, "Knight of Narnia."

Peter stood up in shock and awe as he looked towards Dorothy, Lucy, and Susan, who all smiled proudly at him. Peter then turned back to Aslan, who smiled and nodded respectfully, before he placed his sword back in his sheath.
