As Ginny led Luna down the lawn, heading in the direction of the lake, she grabbed the blonde's hand and started half-running down the sunny slope, laughing and smiling. Near the bottom, by the shore, they eventually fell over, in a tangled red and blonde mess, and Luna landed on top of Ginny on the soft green grass.

A few moment's passed, and then Luna pressed her lips to Ginny's quite suddenly and kissed her, passionately. A warm feeling spread through Ginny's entire body.

A few more blissful moments went by.

Then Ginny broke the kiss and said, "Now, Lu Lu, I have to show you my surprise" and winked, booping her on the nose. As Ginny got up, she grabbed Luna's hand again.

God, she is so beautiful... serene, Ginny thought, my love.

It was beautiful outside, the atmosphere was peaceful, and the air was cool and breezy like fall.

Ginny had a place she wanted to show Luna. They hadn't really had time before now, but Ginny was really excited. She had come here to think a lot before. Now it was time to show the person she was thinking about there, her place. Luna.

It was a few minutes before they reached the tree.

It was the most beautiful thing Luna had ever seen, besides Ginny. Haha. This may sound dramatic, all for a description of a tree, but she felt something in that place. It was an unidentifiable tree- probably something magical- with the most beautiful pink flowers she had ever set eyes on. It was in bloom.

"I looked it up interesting library, and it said that it was called triubellus magica. Apparently it means: 'beautiful magical tree'. haha" Ginny told Luna.

"It's... beautiful." It was was right next to the lake, in a secluded part, in a little cove, with other trees obscuring people's view of them.

"Yeah, but want to see the best part?" Ginny said, her eyes dancing and twinkling. Luna was surprised. There was something better than even this?!

Ginny grabbed Luna's hand without waiting for an answer to her question. She pulled her over closer to the tree and... started climbing! She put her foot in a little dent on the tree, and used the branches and knots to hoist herself up the tree. Luna hesitated at first, and then followed Ginny up. Truth be told, it wasn't really hard to climb, and Luna was... barely... afraid of heights.

"How much higher, Ginny?" Luna called several moments later. "Almost there, just trust me, please." Ginny called back.

Soon Luna saw Ginny above her stop, and called into a fork in the tree. However, when Luna caught up to peer at Ginny, she saw that in fact there was a sort of natural platform with leaves and pink flowers surrounding it. Luna had also realized that the flowers gave off a sweet- but not too, rotten-y sweet- scent. it was more of a fresh sweet scent. Like Ginny...

There was soft- glowing moss growing on the branches surrounding them, and it gave Luna a sort of comfort. Also, Ginny was there, and she always made her feel secure and loved.

It was beautiful. Ginny was beautiful. Everything seemed perfect in that moment. It really was. Perfect...

Ginny saw the look of happiness and wonder on Luna's face and was glad. She had been worrying about her for a while now. In fact, ever since the bullying incidents, and even before that, really.

There was another reason Ginny had brought her up here. It was in her back pocket.

"Hey Luns..." they had sat down on the tree nook. "mhm?" Luna hummed dreamily.

Ginny pulled out something showed it to Luna.

Luna gasped and smiled. "Omg, Ginny! It's beautiful!" "They're for us, I got them."

Ginny handed Luna the ring with the pastel pink, yellow and blue horizontal stripes. She kept the one with the pink, blue, and purple stripes on it...

"I got us pride rings. It feels special. Yours for pansexual and mine for bisexual. Like we're more connected when we wear them. I don't know maybe it's stupid-"

Luna launched at Ginny and threw her arms around her, cutting her off, then pulled away, grabbed her face in her hands, and kissed her. "Well it looks like you like it," Ginny laughed. "I love them Ginny. Thank you! Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you!"

They put eachother's on. They lay down and looked up into the cloudless sky. Ginny grabbed Luna's hand and they stayed like that for a long while, missing more than just second period.
