"You really didn't want to go to the Cinema?" Imogen asked as her and Romeo took a walk in the park together. "I really wouldn't mind."

"They'll just make a big deal about everything." he exhaled with a shake of his head. "Besides, not a big fan of scary movies."

"Me neither." Imogen said honestly as they walked together, arms brushing. "I like musicals."

"Musicals?" Romeo cringed in her direction.

She scoffed at him. "Are you hating on musicals?"

"Okay, are we talking normal amount of singing musicals or literally singing the entire time?" he tilted his head in her direction in the slightest. She opened her mouth, trying to find the words. He inhaled deeply. "I'll take that as a profound amount of singing."

"I like the singing." she defended herself with a laugh. "Almost as much as dancing."

"Yes, i'm very aware you like to dance." he gave a laugh at the memory from Harry's party. "I can't believe Harry. He's such an idiot with his Kill Zone."

"Maybe his family is, like, witches." Imogen have a knowing look in his direction.

"Oddly fitting." he nodded his head. "When I first joined the rugby team he gave me the hardest time and just magically left me alone. Maybe he realized he couldn't curse me."

"Probably so." she hummed, swinging her arms in just the slightest. "You only joined this year, didn't you?"

"Yeah. My Mum was really against it so I had to reach year ten before she agreed." he gave a small laugh. "Before that I was just, like, making bird houses."

"I remember the very first time I saw you. I thought you had the coolest hair." Imogen grinned as Romeo attempted to look at his curls. "It was right before school. You were with Nick and were sitting exactly where I sit."

"On the picnic table?" he looked over as she nodded. "I was in your spot?"

"You were, but I couldn't bring myself to ask you to move because you looked so happy. He was showing you some type of photo on his phone and Harry was trying to get in on the conversation by throwing grass." she frowned her eyebrows at the odd memory.

"That was right before tryouts." Romeo remember with a grin. "Nick really came through for me then."

"Nicks a great guy." he looked over when she said it. "A good friend. Really good friend."

"So, are the two of you..." he trailed off curiously.

"We're better off as friends." Imogen shook her head. "You two are friends too."

"I was really small when I first met Nick, you know." Romeo cracked a grin. "I wanna say....eight or nine. I don't know, very young though. He was in the park and I got a rugby ball right to the head."

"Don't tell me that's what made you want to join?" Imogen laughed.

"Fine, i'll lie and say no." he cracked a grin, she smiled. Romeo gapped when her hand laced with his, leaning her head against his shoulder as they walked.

"There's a family thing sometimes in a few months." Romeo cleared his throat. "My sister will bring her fiancรฉ, my other sister will bring her husband, and my other sister will probably bring whatever one night stand she had. Do you...wanna go."

He was so heavily hinting at how they only over brought anyone they were somehow romantically involved with.

"Yeah, of course." Imogen smiled, coming off his shoulder with a small smile before tightening her hold and laying her head back down.

Romeo looked down with his text from Charlie, refreshing to see if he'd texted back yet. They were suppose to meet for lunch but nothing was returned. Romeo walked to the courtyard, thinking that's where he'd go to.

"What-" Romeo started as he saw a group of boys all huddled together, yells echoing. He got closer, pushing through a few year nines. He made it to the front, coming across Harry first as Tao relentlessly hit him with his beanie. "What!"

Harry tackled Tao after he managed to get his drink all of him. Romeo lost his backpack as he lunged forward and grabbed Harry, yanking him around with a harsh shove. Harry shoved him back as Romeo punched him in the eye, making Harry trip over Tao at the impact. Romeo shook his hand. "Your brainless head hurt my hand!"

"You suck at Rugby!" Harry yelled as him and Romeo rolled around now after he yanked him down to the ground, Tao gapped as he stood up.

"You suck in general!" Romeo yelled, ending up under Harry as he rose his fist. Nick hurried to pull Harry off, Tao pulling Romeo to his feet. Romeo laughed as he slapped Tao in the chest. "Hell yeah, man."

Romeo looked over, he saw he was crying. Not crying because he was hurt. His gaze was on Charlie, turning to walk away. Romeo gave a look, shaking his head at Charlie. "What happened with you two?"

"I don't know." Charlie moved past him to hurry after Tao, a teacher broke Nick and Harry up. Romeo looked over, his eyes falling down to a paper on the ground. Reaching down, he looked at the shoe drawing with Tao and Elle's names at the bottom. He frowned, keeping it with him as he looked to Nick.

"Why didn't you tell me about you and Nick!" he overheard Tao, Romeo frowned his eyebrows together. "I thought we were friends but I guess you've just forgotten about me!"

"Tao.." Charlie began.

"This is all your fault." he cried in his direction. "Just leave me alone."

Romeo waited until Charlie turned to him. "You and Nick?"

Charlie blinked. "I thought you knew..."

"I mean I had my suspicions but you didn't tell me." Romeo gapped at him. "Does everyone else know?"

Charlie looked away. Romeo felt hurt. "Did you think I would judge you?"

"No, no. I just thought you knew." Charlie shook his head quickly. "You acted like you did at bowling."

"Because I knew you liked him." hurt was in his tone. "You didn't tell Tao either?"

"It's not like that." Charlie walked forward.

"All of our friends knew you had a secret boyfriend besides Tao and I?" he frowned his eyebrows. The thing about eyes like Romeos was it was hard to look at them when they were sad, because it felt as though you were looking at a hurt puppy. Charlie always thought so. "Why would you think you had to hide that from me? Even if you thought I knew, you still could have talked to me. Something. We're best friends."

"We are!" Charlie agreed.

"So then why haven't we acted like it?" he looked around as the group began to separate as Harry was pulled away. "Tara and Darcy know too?"

Charlie frowned. "Yes."

"And you haven't even known them long." Romeo lifted his bag off the grass. "I don't care that you two are together. I care because it feels like you didn't care or trust me to know. We always tell each other everything."

"Of course I d-" Charlie was cut off by Romeo walking away. "Romeo! Romeo!"
