SUMMARY...

CHER MAYFIELD WAS completely and utterly clueless when it came to boys, she could never tell if one liked her or hated her. She was spoilt endlessly by her mother and her step-father, Neil Hargrove, which made her step-brother, Billy, despise her beyond belief and consequently her little sister Max as well. Nethertheless, Cher had a kind soul and treated everyone well. She was spoilt, yes, but she was definitely not a bitch, despite living with an abusive alcoholic step-father.

The decision was made to move to Hawkins in Indiana after Cher and Max's mother had officially married Neil, claiming a new change in scenery would help settle them into the family better. Billy and Max were not happy, they loved California, but Cher thought it would be a good idea. She hadn't had many friends back in Cali, even though she had tried, she just never really fit in.

Max made quick friends in Hawkins, Billy had forced his way to the top of the high school food chain in less than a day and Cher had managed to make some friends herself. Friends that would inadvertently drag her and her sister into their supernatural drama.
