WHERE DOES ONE EVEN BEGIN WITH CERISE PARK?

   The Park Family, an extremely rich and diverse family, moved to Outer Banks a little over three years ago, smack dabbed in the middle of Figure 8. Honorary members of the country club, they fit in well with the high society of the island. They even dress the part. Always looking pristine and luxurious. But unlike the other rich families of the island, they were a hell of a lot more humbled and grateful of everything they had. Only because they were raised to be that way.

     CERISE PARK, the beloved youngest daughter of the family, was bored. Bored of the kooks she was forced to hang out with, bored of the country club parties, just......bored. Don't get her wrong, she's managed to make good friends with everyone but she never seemed to have fun with people she's raised to associate herself with. That's is, until she met Kiara Carerra. A girl who became one of her life long best friends within a year of knowing her.

   When her family moved to Outer Banks, Kiara was the very first friend Cerise made. And the two shared each others humbling and accepting personalities. Having more fun with pogues than they did with kooks, they were inseparable. And for a time, Sarah Cameron was also a part of their unbreakable friendship.

     That is, until Sarah blew Kiara off out of nowhere and didn't even invite her to her birthday party. She invited Cerise, though. But because she wanted to stay loyal to her very first friend, Cerise didn't bother to go and, instead, met Kiara's pogue friends. Who accepted her with open arms. And from that day on, Cerise was accepted as a pogue, along side Kiara.

   And in doing so, she met Pope Heyward. A boy who fell for her at first sight. While her love for him grew over time, his started the moment he saw her shiny pearl necklace, accompanied with a beautiful smile on her face.

     People often told him that he fell in love way too fast but Pope had faith that this one would work out. Only problem? So did everyone else.

     Cerise is a beautiful young lady. Sweet, angelic and down to earth. Which made her an open target for many other boys, pogues and kooks, to try and win her heart. Namely those of the high society. That, and the fact that she has two older brothers who are both very arrogant, intimidating but extremely protective of their baby sister. To them, no guy was good enough for her. Much less a pogue like him.

     Not that they care about stuff like that. They just don't like anyone around her. And they are not shy about voicing their dislike for anyone.

     But good thing Cerise is never one to let anyone dictate who she could or could not love or hang out with. Which is probably why she's so accepted on both sides of the tracks.
