APPEARANCE :
Ianessa has... how do I describe it? The look of a mermaid. Standing at 5'5, she feels like she's always been on the shorter side of the spectrum. Her usually dark brown cascades down her back in waves, and her eyes gleam in a dark green-ish/brown colour. Soft facial features, accompanied by a light dusting of freckles across her nose and very pale pink, full-ish lips. Along with that, a slender figure, tinted a sort of natural-looking tan. Kind of the darker side of a light tan. All that time in the sunshine, obviously she won't be very pale. Oh, and the infamous arched eyebrow.

And if you're asking, her tail and top is a sort of holographic teal.

PERSONALITY :
Like all 'typical' mermaids, Ianessa has the tendency to drift off into daydreams. She's curious, confident, and genuienly knows how to have a hella good time. Creative, spontaneous, selfless to the people she cares about, and always ready to take a risk where risk-taking is needed. Consider yourself lucky if she calls you a true friend. And I say true friend, because is awfully selective of the people she'll really trust. She's practically a different person in front of her friends.
And also trust me when I say, that you shouldn't be fooled with the sweet exterior. Because she's got a bad side as well. She'll lure you in the that whole 'nice girl' act, but tread carefully around her, because you never know when her true, mean bitch side comes out. On the inside (and outside), she's as blunt as can be. With the ability to manipulate people with the bat of an eyelid, she's learned to mask her true self in front of newer people. Sarcastic, sassy, with a sliver of arrogance, she's a naturally bitchy person on the inside. She has some iconic combacks up her sleeve, and she'll fight for what she believes in. She does what she needs to get the job done, and she needs no man to save her from anything. She can save her own perfect ass, and she'll do just that. Fearless like that. And let's not get started on the dirty mind. Or the fact that she can easily snap.
All I have to say is that you have to be very self-aware around her. She's more Vanessa than Ariel, to say the least. Without the whole octopid Ursula thing. And she isn't that evil. Pretty on the outside, ugly in the outside, and needs no man to rule along side her.

I mean... what do you want me to say? As far as being a natural-born mermaid goes, she's had a pretty normal life. Her mother and father seem to genuinely care about her, gay brother is getting married in a few months, and she has never been caught sneaking out of the house to take a peak at hot land humans.
She's never had a tragic backstory, and she wonders why the hell anyone would want one.
Although, her parents do put a lot of pressure on her. School work and everything else in between. But that's different because she doesn't care.

Standing at 6' tall, he's the guy with the good arms, and the even better pectorals. Dark brown-almost black hair always swooped to one side, while managing to still look dishevelled and effortless. Very soft and prominent facial features, paired with a very sharp jawline. It's kinda weird, actually. While his dark brown eyes always look genuine, he has that sort of naughty and mischievous twinkle within them.

PERSONALITY :
Cas is pretty much perfect. His smile is contagious, his laugh is infectious. He always seems to be happy. He's low-key the dad(dy) of the group. Except I'm kind of lying. You see, he's a little bit of a prankster, but no one suspects him because he seems just so damn nice all the time. Not quite innocent; his favourite jokes are the dirty ones. Kind of a rebel, and his parents call him a delinquent. Well, his mother does anyway. The angel mother. He's loyal, very generous, and generally a great person to be around. He'll always try and cheer you up when you're feeling down, and would literally juml in front of a bullet for his friends. He's very chill and laid-back, but still cares very much for his grades. Of course he's a friggin genius as well.
Of course, that also means that he tends to bottle up his problems a lot, and is that guy who you think is way too selfless. He acts on impulse, but he's a problem solver, so he'll always find a way to fix things. Self-confident in all the decisions he makes in that way, which makes him a little bit on the cocky side. He's flirty and charming, but pretty damn perfect on first dates. He's kind of a hopeless romantic. No matter, because he will always slip out with a sarcastic quip, and he laughs his problems away. He never seems to be offended by bullying, always standing up for himself.
But he's actually more human than angel. He's cheated many times before, and far from a virgin. When he loves, he loves hard. He would do absolutely anything for anyone he cares about. The dependable guy who's always up for anything, and the guy you call when you want to rant about someone who did you wrong. You can say he's reliable like that.
