nixie is the literal defintion of the phrase. sometimes— okay, all the time— she goes into things without thinking of consequences. she has the tendency to wander off, letting her curiosity get the best of her. she makes reckless and impulsive decisions, usually resulting in getting herself hurt or maybe in worse positions. her curiosity also makes her a little bit of a troublemaker, usually not following orders when it comes to caving in into curiosities. disobedient, and doesn't know when to hold her tongue. which usually gets into more trouble rather than get her out of it.

you could definitely call her a rebel. the girl is fueled by the finding out and discovering anything and everything. she sneaks out, she takes her chances, she skips classes sometimes. you can't really blame her. she gets bored fairly easily, and there's only so much you can do from inside the walls of your house. she's a girl who dances through life, her earphones are mostly always in, and she's humming along to the lyrics of the song. she's got that little bit of fight in her, sassy, sarcastic and sly as a fox when it comes to it. when she does anything, it's never halfway. she radiates self-assurance and always down for anything. although, she does tend to daydream and drift off a lot. and she does trust strangers a little too easily.

nixie is just a girl who goes through life with a smile on her face. whether it's small or not, it's most likely genuine.

years before the events of the little mermaid, ariel's mother was killed by humans in a boating accident. this caused her father, king triton, to make ban music. because of this, ariel snuck out to a jazz club to listen to it. ( idk, i haven't watched the movie in a while lmao )
