in an ever so 'perfect' world where the Renegades acts as guardians, lara bishop was six years old when she watched her parents killed by a villain gang's hitman, before hearing him shoot her baby sister, cassandra, dead. he was about to shoot her, when she uses her powers to boil his blood, and inevitably kill him too. her uncle, tom, kills the hitman, takes her in, revealing that he is the leader of the Anarchists— a group of people with extraordinary powers. but also a group of super-villains.

she was raised by the Anarchists, planning every single day of her life to vow revenge on the Renegades. for not doing their job and protecting her family as they had promised.
