She looks at me but I feel speechless. I can't talk.

"I'm sorry, six weeks? Pregnant?!" I ask and begin to panic, I obviously know who the father of the baby is but... I'm carrying a baby in my stomach... I'm pregnant...

Reality hits me and I begin to cry, the nurse smooths my arm in response to show me her sympathy.

"Serena, there are many options you can do." She says and sighs.

"I'm not getting an abortion!" I exclaim loudly but she looks at me shocked.

"That's absolutely fine, I was just going through some things you can do, when women unexpectedly become pregnant they don't want to keep the baby in some situations." She sighs and looks to the floor, this is probably a rough topic for her.

"I have nothing against it as its their decision and its worse for them as they're going through it." I look at her and reveal a small smile.

My emotions are already getting the better of me.

"Did you have any idea?" She asks and I shake my head, I honestly didn't.

I leave the doctors feeling somewhat confused with what's going on. I'm pregnant and there's absolutely nothing I can do or will do to change that, it's the wrong time for me to fall pregnant but I wouldn't change it for the world now. I just need to tell Diego.

I arrive at the cafรฉ waiting for Diego's response to my message of meeting me, he must find it unusual as we don't usually meet up in cafรฉs or fancy restaurants very often.

The coffee scent fills my nostrils and I gaze around to find people chatting away, drinking their beverages.

I sigh thinking about Diego's reaction. I wasn't ready for it. I know he doesn't want kids I doubt. He's probably never even thought about having kids, yet he's sneaking around with me and I end up pregnant.

I smell the fresh fragrance of Diego's aftershave wiff over me along with the coffee smell, my heart beings to beat much faster than before, making me feel nervous as ever, I looked at my watch and noticed it was three o'clock, we have three hours until we're out having a family meal to celebrate. I sigh as Deigo comes over. He pulls out the chair and takes a seat, his smile is bright on his face and lights up the whole room. I fake a smile but deeply I'm feeling nervous and as if I'm going to throw up.

"Hey you okay?" He questions me and I nod, he leans forward and decided to order a coffee, I decided to wait to tell him, so the waiter didn't hear.

"How's working with my father?" I question him and he raises a brow.

"Fine." He says but something doesn't add up.

"What's going on Serena? You're acting a bit different." He says and I sigh, he already knows my suspicious behaviour, I might as well admit it, the warm temperature travels all over my body leaving it feeling tense and insecure.

"Diego, I need to tell you something." I say and sigh, the tears begin to fall from my cheeks.

"Il mio a more? (my love) what's wrong?" He questions me but the tears fall faster, I'm unable to suck them back up nor stop allowing them to fall. I'm so scared, nervous and my body is shaking.

"Diego, I'm-." I sigh further but decide the best way to tell him is blert it out.

"I'm pregnant." I say and he gasps, his facial expression turns to pure confusion.

"Really?" He raises a brow, he seems shocked but not overly.

"Yeah. " I say softly.

"I'm not ready to be a dad-" before I get to interrupt him he begins to finish

"-But I'm willing to be the best dad I can be.." I don't know if its the baby moving or if I have butterflies with his words. Wait can the baby move at six weeks? I stand up and hug Deigo tightly, tears fun down my cheek as Diego places his hand on my stomach, giving it a little smooth.

Serena admitting she was pregnant was just the beginning of our new relationship, we were going to be parents. There was no need for this sneaking around anymore, we could be open and become a proper couple, raise a family like a proper one would. I smoothed her stomach and she felt warmth, her heart was beating rapidly from all of the paranoia roaming her mind, but I promise her I'll be the best dad I could be. I won't be perfect, no one has the perfect parents, but I would do my best. I was truthful. I'm not ready to be a dad, I still have my selfish moments. But it's time to grow up more and be a dad. A dad for this child to have and talk to, a dad who this child could run to if they were sad. I hugged Serena tight knowing she'd make a great mother to our baby.

Thinking about all of this made my stomach flutter and my heart melt, deep down I couldn't wait to be a father after hearing the news.

We arrive back at my father's house, Diego heads up to the guest room to change and I head to mine, I put on the beautiful black simple dress and began to curl my hair, leaving my hair to look shorter than what it really is. I make my way to the living room and fresh air hits me, I notice the garden door is open, I head for the garden and notice Maria standing there watching the boys lay on the floor on their matt.

"They're so adorable." I say, picturing them playing with their own little cousin.

"They really are, those grey polo tops and those baggy jeans are perfect." She smiles at me and I nod.

Everyone is ready, Diego is wearing a black polo top with some trousers, my father is of course wearing a tuxedo. Nicolas is wearing a white top and black trousers. We all get into the limo and head to this fancy restaurant my father has been banging on about, Orlando decided to join us as well to celebrate the ending of Ivan and opefully the Black Eagles.

We stumbled into the restaurant doors and we are greeted with a black modern looking restaurant, the tables were made out of glass and the chairs were a beautiful velvet red colour, a red carpet ran along the centre of the restaurant, making it all come together, the nerves begin to hit me as we approach the table where Lia and Franco sat too.

I take a seat next to Diego, who then takes a seat next to Orlando, my mother is next to my father who is perfectly placed on the end of the table next to Lia and Franco. Nicolas is sat on the other end with Maria by his side and Dante and Bruno are placed between Maria and my mother. I take in a deep sigh as we all begin to order our food. The boys were hardly eating, all they were doing was drinking their milk. I smiled at them and received a smile back, where their dimples poked out to say hello.

Diego's hand rests on my thigh as he feels the tenderness in my body and how worried I really feel about this meal. We decided to order some food and drink. Lia and Franco shared a large cheese and ham pizza while Nicolas orders a large pepperoni pizza to share with Maria, my mother and father also ordered a large to share which also had pepperoni on but extra cheese. Orlando had a medium sized pizza just like Diego to themselves, Orlando's was just plain cheese and Diego's consisted of chicken, bacon and cheese which actually looked very appealing. I on the other hand had a small hawwian pizza for myself.

We all ordered glasses of coke which would settle well with the meal, well my father had a whiskey which I was hoping he wouldn't overdo. The meal went beautifully and settled on my stomach comfortably, I wasn't forcing myself to eat the last slice, I just couldn't manage it.

"You okay?" Diego whispered at me and I nodded to reassure him, deep down I wasn't okay and I was dredding telling everyone because they will know Diego is the father to our gorgeous baby that's growing inside of my stomach, gaining all of the nutritions from me so they can grow healthy.

I stand up out of my chair and take myself to the bathroom where I give myself a pep-talk. I cleaned my hands with freezing cold water to refresh my mind, it would be best over my face but I'm not putting this water over my face and let my mascara run. That's my tears job. I sigh and pace back and forth in the bathroom. I decide to head back to the table where they all talk amongst themselves, I sigh and take a deep breath.

"Hey, can I have your attention." I said, now I know how men feel when they're proposing in front of loads of people to their partner. I sigh as my whole family including Orlando looks at me.

"I've got something that I'd like to share." I fiddle with my fingers and look at all their faces, looking confused.

"I'm pregnant." I blert out waiting for their expressions to change, Maria smiles and tears form in her eyes, Nicolas looks confused, Orlando looks like he's day-dreaming at this point, my mother seems happy but also confused and my father. Well I have no idea, his face looks emotionless.

"Wow, Serena, I didn't know you were seeing someone." My mother says and raises her brow but gives me a friendly smile.

"What's the fathers name?" My mother asks eagerly to know, Diego holds my hand and stands up beside me.

"It's me Mrs Russo." Diego says proudly which only makes my heart flutter, I smile as Diego holds my hand tightly.

Nicolas seems happy but still confused, Maria is clapping her hands for joy while her babies are wondering what the fuck she is doing, Orlando seems happy and my mother looks very happy? Lia looks amazed and pleased, Franco looks happier then I thought he would. My father looks at Diego and I and walks off out of the room heading towards the garden at the back of the restaurant. I look around while smiles fill the table, all but my father's.

I head to the garden and witness my father sitting on the bench, not knowing what to do with himself.

"Dad?" I say softly and take a seat next to him waiting for his response. But I don't get one, we sit there for awhile with pure silence.

"I'm sorry." I softly say as if it was a whisper, my father scoffs.

"Sorry? What about the fact that you're pregnant or you've hooked up with Diego?" My father huffs and looks straight at the bushes at the other end of the garden.

"Actually, I'm not sorry, with any of it." I say proudly.

"I'm pregnant, I'm having a baby and rasing it as my own, Diego is the father of that baby, now you can stand with us and watch this baby grow or I'm done with you." I say and am almost shocked at my words. Damn hormones do a great thing for once.

My father doesn't say anything, I pick myself up and walk away from him, that's clearly his answer. He doesn't want to know. It's nice to know where I stand, Nicolas was allowed to have children and I'm not. Why is this all so unfair. I walk into the restruant and pack up my belongings.

"Mum, I'm sorry, but I can't see dad anymore, he's not interested in the baby." I say and she stands up tall and gives me a great big hug to reassure me that it's okay.

"Just come over when he's not around." She smiles at me and I nod, and like that Diego and I travel to my father's home, pack all of my belongings and leave all the furniture behind. Luckily Diego said that I can stay with him in his apartment which meant there was a space for us to stay, together and peacefully with our baby.
