The area is divided between two social classes: the Greasers and the Socs. There's always been a bitter rivalry between the two groups, which often leads to fights and rumbles. Most of the time, they just ignore each other, until they don't.

Kimberly Curtis is one of those greasers, being the youngest sister of the undisputed leader of the Curtis gang, she's always been babied by her brothers and friends since she's the youngest of the gang, being only thirteen, a year younger than her brother Ponyboy.

She never cared for Socs, except maybe her friends Cassie and Amy and their brothers Henry and George and their friends, who were Socs. But ever since some Socs jumped her friend Johnny a couple months ago, she's been extra cautious about Socs. Things have been pretty lukewarm between the two groups, and Kimmy isn't sure if anything bad will happen between the Greasers and the Socs...right?
