How do you explain the empty feeling of losing someone you love? Angel King had no words to describe the feeling she was feeling. But, she was no stranger to the loss of a loved one. She had lost it all. Her mother, her father and her old brother. And now, Klaus too. Alaric had killed him, everyone was scared of the outcome, Stefan and Damon thought they would be dying as soon as Klaus died but nothing happened. How excited they were for it.

Angel was only five weeks along when Klaus died. After she found out she returned home until she gave birth. Imagine her surprise when she came back, Klaus was alive and had hooked up with not only Caroline but with some werewolf girl. Her heart broke once again and it broke even more when she found out the werewolf girl was pregnant. Damon Salvatore felt blessed for what Klaus had done. He hated the fact that he broke her heart but he was grateful because he would be the one healing her broken heart.

As soon as she found out she packed her bags and was ready to go. But to her surprise, Damon was waiting right outside with a car. "Ready?" he asked as he grabbed her suitcases. "Damon..." he shrugged. "What?" he asked. "What? What are you doing?" she asked. "I'm going with you" he replied as if it was something normal. "Why? Why the change of heart?" she asked. "It's time for me to start living for me and not for others" he replied as he took the car seats and placed it in the car for the babies.

"Are you absolutely sure?" she asked as she finished settling the kids in the car. He smiled. "I'm sure" he replied as he got in the car. Damon and Angel took on the road to the unknown. She was smiling, maybe Klaus breaking her heart was a blessing in disguise? She didn't know if it was but she sure as hell would make sure she was happy without him. Damon Salvatore didn't mind being the person who made her happy and the person to be the father of her two children. Maybe they would work out. Only time would tell.
