"Ooooh, my god." Eli spoke, opening his eyes as he let out a yell, sitting up and hitting heads harshly with Donovan. "Are you the dude that was....wanting to kill my step dad?"

"I just saved you, by the way." Donovan help his head in pain, Eli looked toward Kira as she slowly got up from the ground. "I thought Kira killed me."

"Yeah, so did I." Malia walked over, looking up as he stood. "Eli, you did it though, almost."

"Did what?" he looked in confusion. "Why is Masons man burning on the table?"

"I took his pain, he'll be fine." Malia grabbed his arms quickly to cause him to look at her. "Scott was right. All of it. You know how we've been wondering why it was so easy for you to stay in control? On the full moon. I mean, even on the Super Moon."

"Yeah, because I had you." Eli nodded his head.

Malia tried to hide a smile. "No, no, it's because you have the ability to change peoples emotions. Including yours. Scott said he wasn't sure, but after what everyone said at the house-"

"I just do what I usually do when I get anxiety." Eli said back with a crazy look, his eyes wide and shaking his head. "It helps."

"No, that's not it." Malia shook her head quickly. "You project yourself onto people. Eli, you can manipulate others emotions to go from panicking to calm. That's why you relaxed Lydia, Kira, me, Stiles, Liam. All of us. I saw it, you were glowing right before Kira over powered you."

"Theo was right. He said he was wrong, thats why he let you go." Corey spoke, making Eli look over. "He thought he'd gotten it wrong. That's why he wanted you so bad."

Eli shook his head. "He said he liked me."

"He likes your power too." he said in return, his face still burnt as Eli stared over.

"Well, he's a jackass." Malia cut in with an annoyed look, making Eli look at her again. She grabbed his face with a little nod. "This isn't a bad thing. You know what you are now."

"Do I? Is there a name?" Eli projected his stress onto her, Malia sensed it, shaking him slightly to get him to cut it out. "So, what? The Dread Doctors did it to me? That's what they wanted, then Deucalion bite me, then Theo did- I still have no clue what's going on!"

"It's called a Siren." Donovan cut in, causing the two to look over his way. "They have the ability to manipulate others emotions, feelings, all of it. Clearly, you didn't get all of the ability, but most."

Eli gapped in disbelief. "I'm half freaking mermaid?!"

"Okay, can we focus a little bit more." Corey spoke up, looking over as Kira walked toward her pair of friends. "Do any of you know how we're suppose to get out of here?"

"This place is still in lockdown." Malia answered. Eli looked down at his finger tips, seeing them black, clearly from the burns Kira had given him before they both passed out.

"It's not just locked." Kira shook her head.

"Yeah, I can feel it, too." Donovan agreed with a nod of his head.

"What are we suppose to do? Just wait here?" Corey looked in a panic.

"Maybe I can grow a magic fish tail and get us out of here." Eli said sarcastically.

"You are not helping." Malia gave a crazy look.

"I'm part mermaid, Malia." Eli argued with an insane look in his eye. "I'm well past helping."

"It's a Siren. It's different." Donovan argued with him, shaking his head. "Theo says-"

"You believe everything Theo says?" the Foxx boy crossed his arms in disbelief.

"Are we just suppose to wait here?" Corey cut in before the two could argue anymore.

"There's a Plan B." Malia shook her head. "We've got a guy on the outside in case this happens."

"Who?" he looked in confusion.

"Your man, apparently." Eli cocked an eyebrow in Corey's direction.

"Masons going to unlock the lockdown?" Corey looked in disbelief.

"How's he going to do that?" Donovan almost laugh, clearly having just as little faith as Corey.

"He's got the blueprints of the building. And he had the full map of Eichen's electrical system." Kira answered in return, nodding her head weakly. "All he had to do is get into the transformer shed behind the building."

They all sensed Corey's worry, Malia shook her head. "Don't worry. Mason know exactly what he's doing."

Malia walked over to Eli a few minutes later, his heartbeat loud in her ears as she sat across from him on the floor. "Hey, stop freaking out."

"I'm not." he lied, biting his fingers over and over again.

"You're good at this sort of thing. You don't need to worry." she tried to reassure him, shaking her head with frowned eyebrows. "This is what you wanted. You wanted to know what you were."

"I wish I never figured it out." Eli said honestly, his eyes casted down, picking at his shoelaces. "I'm not gonna be able to control it. I'm gonna just be walking around changing peoples emotions without them even know it."

"No, you're not." Malia grabbed his hands tightly to make his eyes look at her. "You know your limit. I've seen it. You don't have to know how to control this because you've been doing it your entire life."

Eli nodded slowly. "But, it's different now. What if i'm n-"

But he stopped, Malia slapped his knee. "You're not what?"

"If I just project myself onto people, that means i'm probably not your anchor." Eli's words made Malia frown. "I'm just providing a sense of calmness onto you because that's clearly what I do."

The Tate girl huffed, moving to sit by his side. "You remember that day we met? On the lacrosse field? When you were taking pictures and I was yelling from the bleachers."

He tried not to smile. "Yeah."

"I felt something weird about you then. It was like, you know when it's raining really hard outside?" Malia asked, making Eli nod. "Then you go under a bridge, and everything stops for a second."

"Yeah, sure." he nodded, the wavy locks hung slightly in his eyes.

"It was like that for me. And, then in Lydias basement, it just got even more clear for all of us." Malia shook her head with a stern look. "You were human then, you didn't have the ability that you do now. You're my anchor, no matter what kind of weird green light you get."

Eli looked over at her, tucking his head slightly with a flushed grin. "Okay."

Malia pulled on his neck, planting a kiss to his forehead. "You can use this for you too, you know? Help with your anxiety."

Eli met her eye, a soft look in his eye, nodding. "You're right."

"Oh, you sound surprised." she shoved his face back, getting a laugh. "Jerk."

The lights flipped on brightly, Donovan opened the door with ease. Corey smiled. "He did it."

"We gotta get to Stiles' Jeep." Malia stood up quickly, pulling Eli by the collar to his feet.

"Holy, shit. Lydia!" Eli got out of the jeep quickly, seeing her in pain in Parrish's arms. "Woah, hey lady, how do you feel?"

"Hey, Eli." she spoke in pain.

"Is she okay?" Malia looked in a minor panic.

"No, we need to go. Give me the keys." Scott spoke quickly, Malia giving them to him quickly. "We gotta get her to the clinic."

Parrish have a cry of pain, his grip on Lydia loosening, Tracy grasping Lydia's body sudden. "Sorry, but she's coming with me."

Eli took a step forward. "Let her go. I'll tell Theo to kill you."

"Yeah!" Malia agreed by his side.

"Tracy, just wait." Scott put a hand out to relax Eli. "You don't know what's about to happen."

"I'm taking her. Thats what's happening." she said in return with a harsh glare and stern tone. "And none of you are going to do a thing-"

She was cut off by an electric shock hitting her body, Eli lunged forward to catch Lydia before her weak body collapsed. He stared at Mrs.Martin, a sting gun in hand. "Oh, woah, Mrs.Martin."

Stiles helped Eli out by holding Lydia up. He backed up to stand with Malia, staring at the older woman before him. "Could somebody please get my daughter out of this hellhole?"
