"How far are we gonna go?" Hayden asked, taking the money from the safe.

"Wherever's far enough, I guess." Liam said back, glancing over his shoulder at Eli, who just looked angry. "What's your face for?"

"Because this is stupid. Why are we running?" he spoke up with a look of pure disbelief, getting more and more pissed by the minute. "Leave all our friends, just run away until they find us there."

"Would you rather stay and die?" Liam gave a look of disbelief.

"I'd rather die trying to help instead of running away and leaving everyone here to die for me." Eli argued with a knowing point of his finger. "You use to say the same."

"Eli, us staying here isn't gonna do anything except get us killed." Hayden argued with him slightly. "You can be pissed off at me all you want to, but it's gonna protect you."

"Then who protects Malia? And Lydia? And Stiles? And Mason? Scott? Theo? Kira? My Mom? Your Sister? Liam's parents?" the Foxx boy listed on, his heart racing as he got angrier and angrier, arguing with two people now rather then one.

"Why would the Dread Doctors come after them? It's the two of you they want." Liam argued with him, motioning between him and Hayden.

"So, what? You think they're just gonna back off when they realize we aren't here? Like 'Oh, hey, look at this pack, i'm just gonna leave them alone because Hayden and Eli aren't here.' Are you kidding me?" Eli mocked with a frowned of his eyebrows, a slightly offended look across his face.

"Us arguing isn't gonna do anything except waste time." Liam stacked the money in the bag. "You're coming with us, weather you like it or not. You're not staying here to die, I don't care what you have to say."

Before Eli could argue, the projector flickered on. The trios eyes turned, watching as the lights lit up the floor. Hayden grabbed Eli's wrist and pulled him closer to him and Liam. "Oh, god. They're here."

Eli listened with his advanced hearing, stepping before the two as his headed snapped toward the left, hearing it mainly from that direction. He shoved Liam and Hayden behind one of the bar counters. The clicking of the lock sounded, getting closer and closer. A loud crash heard, Eli jumping as it rung extra loud in his ears. Liam looked at the two, whispering. "Hurry."

The trio were hurrying across the floor, running toward the door before a Dread Doctor was before them. The trio gasped, stumbling back. Liam and Eli were both hid across the face, the force bad enough to knock both of the boys on opposite times of the club. Eli winced, holding his jaw, looking over in Hayden's direction. They were only going after her. They didn't want Eli, they didn't want anything to do with him.

Just Hayden.

"Run, Hayden, run!" Liam's voice echoed from the opposite side. Eli stood up, his nose twitching as his finger nails began to form into claws, feeling the urge to yell building up inside of him. At first, when the loud growl was heard, he could have sworn it was himself. Scott jumped from the walk way, pushing the Dread Doctor aside as Hayden hurried to back up.

This time, is was him. Golden eyes glowing in the darkness, the growl echoing from his lips. Liam had the same idea, the pair of boys going for the same Dread Doctor, their attempt to fight him not even causing a wince to form. Eli's feet jumped from the ground, his feet digging into his shoulders as there was a minor stumble. Liam gave a harsh shove, between his strength and Eli's weight of his shoulders, the doctor went to its knees.

Before either of them had the chance to react how they wanted, Eli felt the doctors hand grasp his arm, flipping him over his shoulder and across the room. A yell escaped his lips, a crack echoing in the air. Hayden ran to his side, seeing the odd shaped arm by his side. "Eli. Eli."

Cries of pain left his lips, head falling back against the metal floor. Scott and Liam went back to fighting the Dread Doctor, Eli now helpless and in human form on the ground. Hayden grabbed his broken arm, getting a louder yell of pain. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry."

She snapped the bone back in place, Eli's heart rate speeding up worse then it had before as he took pained, sudden breaths from the floor. Hayden looked down at him. "You have to heal now, you can."

"I don't know how." he got out through minor cries of pure pain.

"Yes, you do." she gave a knowing look. "You have to trust yourself, it'll come naturally."

Eli tried to take her advice, shutting his eyes as he focused on his horrible pain, but also who he was as a person. Malia and Scott made it seem so easy, popping their shoulders and legs back into place, being okay a moment later. How'd they handle the pain? Where did it go? How did it stop? How did Malia do it? He thought about her, all the times he'd go into a panic but she'd be fine, healing.

The pain in his arm has dissolved, only a soreness left.

"Told you." Hayden gave him a reassuring smile. Eli sat up, looking over as he saw Scott on the floor, Liam being tossed in the air. He growled again, leaving Hayden to charge forward, using all his strength to shove the Dread Doctor before it had the chance to collided its metal hand with Scott's head. Scott got to his feet, Eli shoved harshly to the side. Just as he thought he was gonna collide with the floor, a pair of hands caught him.

"Theo." Eli looked in shock.

The Reaken boy pulled Scott front the ground. "Get Hayden out of here. Go."

"Why aren't they coming after me?" Eli's eyes raced around, not sure who exactly he was talking to.

"Don't question it, just run." Scott pulled him, Liam yelling Hayden's name echoed. "Go find him."

Eli took off, running after Liams voice. "Liam!"

"Eli!" Liam caught him, the pair crashing through the streamers hanging from the walk way, the projector shining in their eyes.

A shriek left Hayden's lips, injected into the neck with the large needle at the hand of one of the Dread Doctors, eyes glossing over in mercury. Liam yelled out. "No!"

Hayden's pained, weakening boy fell to her knees. Liam ran off as the Dread Doctor walked off. Eli glare, feeling anger in his vein. He yelled, he growled, running after the Dread Doctor that had hurt her. Liam yelled for him, but Eli jumped onto the Dread Doctors back and tried to knock him over. Like last time, his arm was greened and he was flipped over. His front hit the floor, and he swore he was gonna get injected any second now. Why would he do that? Why would he run after a Dread Doctor? Why would he let his anger get the best of him? The Dread Doctors hands touched the plates circling in his back, they magnifying to its fingertips.

Eli let out a loud yell of pain, feeling the horrible, sharp yank from his back. He wasn't removing it, he knew what he was doing, hurting him in the only way he could now. It was let go after a moment, leaving the pained and hurt boy on the ground to whimper and hurt in pain.

"Eli!" Scott was running to him, falling to the ground. "Hey, are you okay? Hey, can you heal?"

"They did something." Eli whimpered as he kept still. "My shoulders."

Theo was pulled at his shirt immediately, looking at his back. The plates were still there, circling, but five little holes swarmed them, leaking mercury. Scott's eyes widened in a panic. "What is that? Why is he bleeding mercury? Eli? Look at me."

But he was fine, he was completely fine.

"It makes no sense." Scott spoke in fear, holding Eli as he helped him roll over some. "Why is he okay?"

Theo grabbed his face, looking over his eyes. He looked to Scott. "They're protecting him."

"What?" Scott looked in disbelief.

"The plates in his back. They're chelation." Theo confirmed, keeping a eye on Eli, seeing his pure confusion. "Chelation means to bind, or to grab. Those plates, they're circling Mercury, they're taking it from your body and putting it inside itself to stay out of your blood stream."

"How do you know?" Eli looked, holding onto Scott's arms. "What happened now? Did they break?"

"That's the only thing that makes sense, why else would you be bleeding mercury but not dying? It's why they aren't coming after you now, they have no way of hurting you with those in." Theo saved himself, and both of pair seemed to believe him. "They didn't break, they're just working to collect what's left in your blood. Which, by the looks of it, isn't much, which is why you're okay, because they're isn't enough."

"Why would the Dread Doctors do that? Why would they save him like that?" Scott looked in a minor worry, his mind racing of pure confusion.

Theos eyes flickered. "I don't- I don't know why."
