"Eli, I could use just a little bit of your brain right now." Scott spoke as the group hovered around, trying to find a way of figuring out how to get Stiles back.
"I'm trying to turn it on, Scott." he huffed, leaning down and wacking his head on the desk.
"Oh my god. Okay, no." Lydia spoke with wide eyes.
"It helps him think." Malia pointed out, putting her arm around Eli's waist and rubbing his head. "Come up with anything?"
"Only a little bit." he held up his thumb and index finger to explain. "If Stiles was here, he could help me figure out a plan. He helped my brain a lot more then hitting it on the wall."
"Yeah, let's avoid doing that again, Sweater Vest." Malia rubbed the bump on his head when she saw it.
"So the plan is to get Stiles to come up with a plan." Peter paced the room.
"Peter, stop it." Eli huffed.
"Yeah, you can shut up now." Malia huffed.
"Malia, look around. We're the only ones left in Beacon Hills." Peter motioned around the empty place.
"Not the only ones." Adeline walked into the room. "And I have my gun."
"Mama?" Eli questioned. "This is dangerous supernatural stuff."
"And if it means getting my step son back and possibly revealing when and how the sheriff and I got engaged, I'm all in." she nodded her head with a knowing raise of her strawberry eyebrows.
"I also called her." Lydia pointed out.
"She also called me." Adeline added in.
"Do you want to tell me to stop touching him again?" Malia removed her hands from Eli's waist.
"Aw, she didn't threaten to eat you this time." Eli gushed. "Progress, babe."
"Okay." Peter gave a stupid look. "Is this really what you want to be worrying about right now?"
"Peter, you don't get a say in what we worry about." Eli rolled his eyes. "Don't be jealous your daughters boyfriend is better then you are."
"It's true. He is." Malia nodded his head.
"I usually wouldn't agree with asshoels like him." Adeline nodded toward Peter. "But we are the only ones left in Beacon Hills. If we get taken, Lydia will be the only one left, right?"
"Not gonna happen though." Eli gave Lydia a side wink.
"He's right." Scott agreed with Eli. "That's why i'm the only person that going in. Liam and Hayden will stay here with Mason. As long as somebody is left in Beacon Hills, the Wild Hunt can't move on."
"I like your plan, Scott. Especially the part about turning Stiles, it can work." Peter continued to pace around.
"How do you know?" Malia asked, her arms going back around Eli's waist, not bothered by Adeline's look.
"Logic." Peter spoke dumbfounded.
"Logic." Eli mocked him under his breath.
"Life experience. The odds he'll get taken. What if Stiles isn't there?" the man continued to list on. "Or no Beacon Hills for you to come back to."
"You have a better idea?" Liam looked his way.
"Yeah, it's run like hell." Peter rose his eyebrows.
"You're good at that, aren't you?" Eli nodded with a raised eyebrow his way.
"Guess we all are." a new voice rung, making them all look over.
"Jamie?" Adeline gapped at her ex husband.
"Dad." Eli stated, taken off guard. Malia growled, he held her back. "What are you doing here?"
"That's your dad?" Peter rose his eyebrows, pointing toward the man.
"Yeah, y'all will have a lot in common." Liam rolled his eyes. "Jamie, you need to go."
"Yeah, get out of here." Malia glared.
"I just want to help." he rose his hands in surrender. "If all this is true, and it doesn't feel true, then I want to understand why I left for Sweden when everything I love is here."
"Because that's what happens after a divorce." Eli shrugged his shoulders.
"Not when you're still here." he softened his eyes his way.
"You know about...everything?" Scott looked taken off guard.
"I told him, before we finalized the divorce." Adeline looked his way. "I should have ran it by you first."
"Still a little in shock that my son can turn into a... large dog." Jamie cleared his throat. "But, wouldn't be the oddest thing i've experienced."
"So...leave in five?" Peter suggested.
"You promised you'd help us." Malia walked his way.
"I can make him leave, if you want." Liam whispered to Eli, nodding to his Dad. "I know you don't want him here."
Eli sighed. "It's okay, Liam."
"It's not." he faced him completely, shaking his head. "I was a shitty friend. For bringing Theo back, for not taking your feelings into consideration. I know last year was really hard on you, and I know Theo was to blame for 90% of it. I should have thought about you first, and i'm sorry."
The Foxx boy gave him a small smile, kicking his ankle. "You were thinking like a alpha. Just, maybe, if you're gonna bring back the keeper of my trauma, run it by me first?"
Liam smiled, sighing in relief. He kicked his ankle. "Will do."
Eli smiled, Liam smiled.
"If you can't help, we'll find it ourselves." Scott argued with Peter.
"I can go with him." Jamie suggested.
"Oh, good, two peas in a pod." Lydia rolled her eyes.
"This, you don't walk away from." Peter took a few steps back from Malia, leaving the station.
"Should I go after him?" Jamie suggested.
"Shut up." Adeline, Eli, and Liam snapped after him.
Eli approached Malia, placing a hand on her back with a gentle rub. "You okay?"
"I don't know what I was thinking." she shook her head with a sigh, trying to hide her hurt. "That's what he does. He runs."
"His loss." Eli reached over to turn her head to face him. "Me on the other hand? I'm gonna stay right here."
Malia smiled, leaning over to press her lips onto his.
After a few seconds, Adeline slapped her badge on the table. "Right! Let's get started."
"When you were here before, when did the ghost riders show up?" Scott asked as the group walked through the woods.
"Couple minutes." Malia shrugged.
"That's reassuring." Lydia sighed.
"What's the riff suppose to look like?" Malia followed Scott.
"My bet? A blurry mirror." Eli tiptoed around, his hands out reached around his entire body as he spun slightly.
"Babe." Malia stated at they all stopped walking. "What're you doing?"
"Trying to feel the riff." he said back casually. "Hello? What else would I be doing?"
"You say that like it's so casual." Lydia shook her head.
"It could be transparent." he exclaimed with a knowing eyebrow raise, adjusting his sweater vest. "If we run into it, I don't want any of us to fry up like the Peter Barbecue."
"Why's he sorta got a point?" Lydia pointed out, Malia grasped Eli's hand and pull him along.
"Hey, look at this." Scott got their attention as they walked closer toward, what appeared to be, a tunnel.
"The riffs not above us." Lydia exclaimed.
One after one, they walked in. Eli feared everything the full walk in. "I hate this."
"You hate everything." Scott pointed out.
"And something bad always happens." Eli exclaimed, hopping down. "Seems like I have a hunch for being right."
"It's gotta be around here somewhere, Eli. Can you use your eyes?" Scott suggested. "Like you did when you found Stiles' guest bedroom?"
"Yeah, I-" he started, stopping as Malias body bounced off an opening. "I believe my lover found it before I did."
"I did!" she announced, taking Eli's hand as he pulled her to her feet.
"It's remarkable similar." Lydia looked at the mercury, transparent portal.
"To what I explained?" Eli rose an eyebrow.
"To the Einstein-Rosen bridge." she corrected him. Malia wacked his chest with a knowing look.
"All right, time to make this riff my bitch!" Eli announced, shaking his arms around as he took the metal pole from the corner. "Come on, Eli. You got this. Just, do what coach says."
"What does coach say?" Scott gave an odd look.
"That sometimes you gotta grabs life by the horns and make it suck your dick." he nodded, shoving the pole forward and trying to break through the barrier. Malia came to his side, helping him, only for them both to fall backwards from the force. He landed in her lap, tossing his head back on her shoulder. "Coach is a liar."
"There's gotta be another way." Lydia shook her head as Malia dusted Eli off, helping him up after she stood. "Just need to think."
"Think?" Malia and Eli asked on sync.
"Yeah." Scott took a breath. "Think about how to get through a supernatural riff that melts steel."
"Not gonna be easy." Lydia shook her head.
"But it doesn't have to be so hard." a new voice rung as they all turned around quickly, face to face with Mr.Douglas. "We're all in a tough spot. Desperate to get inside and save everyone and hoping to find a way to stop this...army of the dead. We all want the same thing."
"He has a point." Lydia sighed.
"Gonna have to disagree." Eli shook his head, hidden behind Malia.
"If he doesn't kill anyone." Malia added in.
"Else." Scott agreed with her words. "If he doesn't kill anyone else."
"All that matters right now is getting through the riff." he stated his reasoning for being here.
"Then you're out of luck." Malia spoke, Eli's hand on her waist to keep her back.
"The riff burns anything that tries to pass through it." Lydia added into her words.
"But, is you wanted to give it a try..." the Foxx boy trailed off.
"Perhaps not everyone." Douglas tilted his head slightly, Perrish walking from behind him with a growl their way. Eli hid behind Malia more.
"Jordan." Lydia stared his way.
"The Hell Hound can open the rift, we all go together." Douglas explained.
"Together?" Eli gapped, giving a nervous laugh. "I-I actually gotta get home soon."
"You're the bad guy. I'm pretty sure helping you is a bad idea." Malia stated the obvious with a dumbfounded look.
"Good guy. Bad guy. When has anything been so black and white?" Douglas rolled his eyes.
"World War II." Liam ran down the tunnel. "He's a Nazi."
"Of course." Eli ran a hand through his hair. "Of course we have nazis too."
"Adeline figured it out. He wants the hunt for himself." Liam nodded, catching his breath.
"Where is she now?" Eli worried for his mom.
"She's with Theo. But, Eli..." Liam triodes off. "The hunt...they got your Dad."
"My Dad?" he felt immediate guilt.
"We'll get him back too." Malia turned his head to meet her eye.
"We're not letting you through that rift." Scott stared as Douglas tossed a whip from his side.
"Not letting me?" he rose an eyebrow. "I see. You still think you have a day in the matter."
He tried to hit them with the whip, the group jumping back. Scott let out a growl, Malia pushed Eli to the side or the tunnels as he pulled Lydia with him. Liam backed up with them next. Douglas continued to whip their way, Eli taking Malia hand to pull her as Scott followed.
Parrish walked toward the riff, pushing through it. Scott started to panic. "Parrish, stop!"
The riff stilled, Parrish roared their way. Malia waited until they passed. "Now!"
The group ran forward, going to pass through the riff as well, but they'd been too late. Eli's heart started to race as two ghost riders emerged, his hand grasping Malias. "Scott, we need to get out of here."
"Eli, go." Malia looked his way. "Go with Lydia and Liam."
"No, i'm not leaving you." he grasped her tightly as Liam and Lydia ran behind him. A whip headed their way, Malia shoved Eli to the side, causing it to wrap around Scott's neck.
"No." Malia grabbed hold of it, trying to break it free as Scott was being pulled closer. "Eli!"
He looked toward the ghost riders, growling as he flicked his claws out, slashing through the whip as it let Scott and Malia go. "It didn't take you!"
"I don't think they're trying to take us. I think they're trying to kill us." Scott pulled Eli back quickly. "Now we run."
A whip wrapped around Malias waist, yanking her back. Eli spun around in fear. "Malia!"
"Eli!" Scott called as he ran toward the ghost rider that had the whip connected to his girlfriend, attacking him as he shoved him into the side of the tunnel. Malia watched in fear for the boy, but the whip had let her go. "Eli, run!"
He backed away from the ghost rider quickly, his eyes wide. He ran toward the pair, they both reached out for him. He took his chances in jumping forward, crashing into the two as they both caught him. A gun was cocked, aiming their way as the trio huddled together.
Peter growled from down the tunnel, running forward and attacking the ghost rider before he had the chance to hurt them. "Why aren't you running!"
"For once I agree with him!" Eli announced , standing up as he took both their hands. They ran to the end of the hall, pausing to look back as Peter was held back from the ghost riders, yelling for them to go, just as he was shot with a green bullet.
"Malia." Eli took her hands. "We'll get him back. We have to go, okay? Look at me."
She did, taking his hand with a nod, and they ran down the tunnel.
"Look at the bright side." Eli whipped his eyes. When they got back, his Dad being taken had sunken in and he hadn't been able to handle it. Malia wrapped him in her arms at the kitchen table. "At least our Dads get to meet now."
She laughed, kissing him on the forehead as he stayed curled up with her. "We'll get them back. Like you said."
"We will." Liam looked over. "We should go relief your Mom from watching Theo though."
Before they could move, a knock came onto the door. Eli whipped his eyes quickly, sitting up straight as Sheriff Stilinki walked in. "I have a son."
They all sat up more as he stared at them. "His name is Mieczyslaw Stilinski but we call him Stiles. I remember. When Stiles was a little kid, he couldn't say his first name. Not sure why, pretty much rolls off the tongue, but the closest he can get was mischief. His mother called him that until... I remember when, uh, Stiles first got his jeep. It belonged to his mother. She wanted him to have it. The first time he took a spin behind the wheel he went straight into a ditch. I gave him his first roll of duck tape that day. He was always getting into trouble. But he always had a good heart. Always. We're here tonight because my goofball son decided to drag Scott, his greatest friend in the world, into the woods to see a body."
Scott smiled. "How did you remember?"
"It started with Stiles jersey, and then I found the red string for his crime board, finally his whole room came back." Noah explained. "And all the memories."
He looked at Eli. "And I remembered, it wasn't one son I had. I have two. One of them is just taking a little while to warm up to me."
Eli felt his entire stomach flip, his eyes watered as he stared at him. "My mom was right."
"Adeline and I dated for seven months. We had dinner, and you still don't like me much." Noah stared as Eli stood up. "Then, I proposed to her, because I love her so much. And I told you, after I found you that night-"
"That you loved me." Eli cut him off, he took a breath he didn't realize he was holding. "You told me you loved me and you weren't gonna hurt my mom, because you loved her too."
"It wasn't just your Mom that stole my heart, Eli." Noah placed a hand on his shoulder. "You have been the greatest, most unexpected, son I never actually had. And I promise you, when this is all figured out, that I won't replace your Dad. But I will do everything I can to be the parent you have needed this whole time."
Eli cried, nodding his head as he wrapping his arms around him tightly as Noah held him a moment, placing a hand on his head. "I found the picture you took of us, me and Stiles. And then the strangest thing happened."
"What was it?" Eli sat up more.
"I thought I saw him." Noah explained honestly. "It's like something opened, right there in the middle of the room, just for a moment. And then it was gone."
"A rift." Scott confirmed.
"I thought there was only one rift?" Malia looked over at him. "We saw it disappear."
"You remembered Stiles. And then a new riff was created." Scott looked at Noah.
"If the sheriff can do it-" Malia started.
"Maybe we can." Lydia added.
"But that riff closed." Liam stated the obvious.
"There's gotta be a way to open it again." Eli looked over at his best friend.
"How?" Noah questioned.
"By remembering Stiles." Scott leaned forward. "We have to remember everything."
