Whatever Scott was holding back the entire practice, he let it free when Liam charged his way, flipping him over his shoulder. The crack was heard through out the field, Eli's eyes widened. He dropped his camera, not meaning too, not realizing it either, "Liam!"

"Don't move! Don't touch him!" Coach yelled as he ran over quickly, Eli close behind.

"I'm okay, coach. I'm all right." Liam spoke through his pain, trying to stand up as a yell of pain escaped his throat. Stiles and Scott held him up, "I think it's my leg."

"I think we better get him to the nurse." Stiles squinted from the sun.

"What? You and the same guy that threw him over his shoulder?" Eli looked at Scott in disbelief, Scott's eyebrows rose at the sudden tone, "I'll do it."

"On your own?" Scott asked him, moving as Eli took Liams arm. Eli ignored him, causing Scott to get on his other side with Stiles so they could move faster toward the nurses office.

"Don't worry, Liam. We'll take good care of you." Melissa McCall, Scott's nurse mom, spoke as she wheeled him in a wheelchair down the hospital hallway.

Eli looked at Scott in disbelief, "Whenever I get a lot of muscle, and make the team, i'm throwing you over my shoulder and then making sure you get a mean nurse instead of your nice mom."

Scott blinked at his words, "I didn't mean to hurt him."

"Well, you did." Eli crossed his arms with rose eyebrows, "Have anything to say for yourself?"

"I, ugh, i'm sorry." Scott nodded, because he found Eli oddly precious right now and couldn't stay serious, "You're a good friend for coming."

"Don't we know it." Eli hummed, looking at Stiles with a odd look. The three sat in silence for a moment before Eli turned and walked away. Scott and Stiles watched him go.

"He's a weird kid." Stiles confirmed.

"He reminds me of you." Scott said back, getting an offended look in return, "His hearts racing right now."

"All that blood in his face will do it." Stiles agreed, Eli's flustered expression after he laid all his words on the pair not going unnoticed.

"Want the rest of my jello?" Eli asked as he poked his head into Liams room, the green cup in his hand, "I stole it from a sleeping old lady."

"You stole from a old lady?" Liam cracked him a grin as he walked in, "Thats horrible."

"She wasn't eating it." Eli defended himself, giving Liam the rest and taking a seat in the chair by his bed, "Is it broken?"

"We're waiting for the X-rays, but it feels like it." Liam said as Eli crossed his legs with a frown, "I can't believe I went up against those two juniors like that."

"Well I gave them a piece of my mind." Eli hummed with a sassy look on his face, pulling at his shoelaces, "Maybe Coach will still put you on the team and you can just sit on the bench with me."

Liam laughed slightly, "Doesn't seem so bad."

"It's not, especially when there's drama in the stands." the boy confirmed, tying his shoe back, "Like today."

"I wonder if that girl got her money." Liam nodded, recalling the conversation right before the accident, "What were you talking to her about?"

"How she wishes she had fur." Eli shrugged, missing Liams look of disbelief and confusion, "I think i'm in love with her."

Liam gave a snort, "You fall in love with everyone."

"Not those two juniors." he pointed out with a tilt of his head, "Or Coach."

Liam began to laugh at him, "Obviously not coach."

There was a loud growl, animal like, echoing off the walls of the hallway. Eli and Liam shared a odd look, the Foxx boy getting up and looking around the hallway. His head turned back to Liam, "No ones out here."

"What?" Liam asked, getting out of bed and hobbling toward the hallway as well, "Hey! Anyone hear that?"

"Wonder if it was that old lady after she realized I took her jello." Eli pointed out, turning his head toward the end of the hallway to point, "Her room is just down there."

Liam followed his gaze, the pair turning back around, "I don't-"

Liam stopped as the duo were now face to face with a boy, covered in blood, and razor sharp teeth. Liam gasped while Eli stumbled back, the same loud animal growl they heard before, flying from the boy bloodied mouth.

"Liam, come on!" Eli grabbed his arm, trying to help him. The pair were too late, the bloody boy grabbing them both tightly. The pair struggled to get out of his hold but were no use, the unknown boy abnormal strong as he drug them to the roof. Eli, scared of heights, panicked as they neared the end of the roof, trying to get loose.

"You don't need to do this!" Scott's voice came from the door. Eli gapped at his face, looking like he'd left a halloween party with pointed ears, a permanent glare, red eyes, hair on this sides of his face, and looking at the trio, "Whatever it is. Whatever you are. We can help you."

"No you can't." the boys voice echoed, both his arms around Eli and Liam.

"Let me help you." Scott spoke once again, a small nod to his head.

"Wendigos don't need help." he said back, voice breaking like he wanted to cry, "We need food!"

Eli twisted his head back to knock the boy in the face, making him struggle only slightly enough for Liam to get free and try to shove him away. Scott, somehow, managed to jump from his spot by the door and toward the trio. The boy still had his arm tight around Eli, Liams shoving after getting free only making matters worse as he was shoved off the roof.

"Liam!" Eli called in horror, trying to pull the arm away from his neck. Scott shoved the wendigo harshly, making him fall back into the side of the roof. Eli got free after the struggle, stumbling away from the boy as he fell off the platform they'd been on. A crack echoed, much like Liams did on the field, Eli's eyes traveling down to his wrist and finding the bone popping out. His eyes went wide, seeing spots, a gag left his lips.

Holding onto his broken wrist, he looked toward the Wendigo, who'd attacked Scott, who was holding Liam on the side of the roof. Eli stood up, trying not to move his wrist in the process. He needed to get back up on the platform, not having the ability to jump high like Scott did. He looked around for any access, coming across a small later.

Eli took his chances of trying to climb with one hand, his broken one held secure to his chest as he used his, not so much, upper body strength in one hand. He called for Liam, trying to let him know he was coming and to hang on. The latter wasn't too tall, but climbing with one hand in the darkness was difficult. As he made it to the top finally, Eli crawled onto the platform and stumbled onto his feet.

A loud yell echoed through the air, coming from Liam. Eli took his chances, after not seeing anything nearby to hit with, and ran toward the boy who'd been trying to get Scott. Before he could make it there, a man in all black, lacking a mouth, shoved him aside. Eli stumbled, barley holding his balance, but enough to keep him from falling and hurting his already broken hand.

Eli gapped as the unknown man stabbed the Wendigo, killing him as he fell over. Scott pulled Liam over the ledge harshly, Eli didn't even have time to watch the man who saved their lives leave, because he was too busy looking at Liams arm in disbelief.

A large and bloody bite mark.
