𝟢𝟤𝟢，𝗂𝗍'𝗌 𝗒𝗈𝗎 𝖺𝗇𝖽 𝗆𝖾 𝗍𝗁𝖺𝗍'𝗌 𝗆𝗒 𝗐𝗁𝗈𝗅𝖾 𝗐𝗈𝗋𝗅𝖽
𝗋𝖾𝖺𝗅 𝗅𝗂𝖿𝖾 𝗑 𝗌𝗈𝖼𝗂𝖺𝗅 𝗆𝖾𝖽𝗂𝖺

𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐋 𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐄 . . .

𝐋𝐎𝐑𝐄𝐋𝐀𝐈 𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐍𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐁𝐈𝐆 on parties or events that much. She preferred her quiet space without anyone constantly bombarding her with all sorts.

However, there were times she accepted them. Her release parties being one of them.

Well, they weren't really big parties. They were more of a hang out with a bunch of friends who then would come together at midnight and listen to the song.

So as Lorelai stood in the room filled with her friends, a smile set on her lips. It was nice seeing her friends get together and she was also glad Nicholas's apartment was big enough for all of this.

Speaking of Nicholas', Lorelai had no idea where he was. She called and texted, but he hadn't once responded and the last update she had on him was when he was walking out of the front door to meet up with Cooper.

To be fair, the triplets weren't even here as well so maybe they were all just together and running a bit late.

"Lorelai!" She heard her voice being called out from across the room.

The pop singer turned her head towards the sound, only to see Taylor Swift beckon her over to where she was stood with Gracie Abrams, Lana Del Ray, Jack Antonoff and Travis Kelce

The brunette girl strolled over to the group, smiling at everyone who came across her way until she approached her friends.

"Hi guys!" Lorelai waved.

"Oh my gosh, Lorelai I am so fucking excited for your song!" Gracie exclaimed in excitement, taking another sip from the glass of wine in her hand.

"Seriously, I need it to be twelve right now because the anticipation is eating me alive!" Taylor energetically shrieked.

"She's been like this since you first announced the song." Travis informed, letting out a chuckle as him as him and Taylor lovingly locked eyes with one another.

"Get a room." Jack joked, nudging the two. Taylor flipped him off as a joke.

"You guys have no idea how all of this means to me." Lorelai said, holding her hand to her heart. "Just you being here is everything."

"Well, anything for you." Lana softly said, smiling at the girl.

"So, Lorelai is Nicholas around?" Travis asked the girl who shook her head.

"I think he's running late." Lorelai told the boy whose eyes diverted behind her.

"You mean he's here." Gracie chuckled, pointing towards Nicholas who had just entered his home, Cooper and the triplets following in after him.

Lorelai immediately spun around, her eyes landing on Nicholas' who had already landed his eyes on her.

It was as if the whole world had stopped spinning.

It was just them two and that was her whole world.

Lorelai's breath hitched as she looked at the boy up and down. His hair was slicked back, but a strand was out.

He wore a black suit and two buttons on the t-shirt were undone which showed his toned chest. Also, half his sleeves rolled up which looked hot.

"Damn." She muttered under her breath as she glanced back into his eyes.

"Girl, go to your man!" Taylor exclaimed, a giggle leaving her lips.

"Oh, he's not my man." The pop singer broke eye contact with Nicholas and looked towards Taylor.

"The eyes never lie, Lorelai." She softly said before walking off with Travis.

"She's not wrong." Lana added on. "The way he's looking at you right now. It's the look of love." She told the girl, whose lips had slightly parted as she looked back at the boy.

"Now go to him." Lana urged.

Lorelai took a deep breath and nodded. She walked through the crowd of people who were dancing, talking or doing whatever, she didn't care because all her mind focused on was Nicholas.

"Hi." She softly spoke out as she approached the gorgeous boy.

"Hey." He spoke back in the same tone as the girl.

"You look breathtaking in that." The boy softly whispered, looking at Lorelai's outfit.

"Thank you!" Lorelai sweetly smiled. "I love yours." 

"Eh, I feel like I'm a bit overdressed." Nicholas lightly chuckled, looking down at his outfit.

"But you look hot." Lorelai blurted out.

Nicholas smirked, raising a brow. "Hot, huh?" He chuckled, his voice raspy.

"I didn't mean that-" She paused. "Well I did- Okay I didn't mean it in that way-" The girl embarrassingly spat out, desperately wanting shoot herself in that moment.

"Sorry." She huffed.

"Sweetheart, it's fine." Nicholas smiled. "You know I'm teasing. Now how long left till we get to hear the song?"

Lorelai looked down at her watch. "Fifteen Minutes."

"Well, what do you say? Wanna go dance with me?" Nicholas grinned, holding his hand towards the pop singer.

"I'd love to, billie jean." Lorelai winked, placing her hand onto of Nicholas'.

"You need to stop haunting me with past memories." Nicholas warned the girl, the two walking to the middle of the room.

"No can do, wild hair casual." The brunette girl annoyed him again.

"God, you're lucky that I lo-" Nicholas paused, clearing his throat. "You're lucky I like you." He playfully rolled his eyes.

"Who doesn't?" Lorelai smirked, placing her arms around Nicholas's shoulder and him placing his arms around her waist.

Lorelai blushed, feeling her heart pound and her stomach doing cartwheels. Honestly, Nicholas was seriously ruining her life by not being hers.

"Why are we slow dancing to an upbeat song?" Nicholas frowned, but nonetheless didn't mind.

"We're amazing." Lorelai replied, glancing towards Charli XCX who held a thumbs up, winking at the two.

In a sudden second, Charli played Until I Found You by Stephen Sanchez, completely switching the beat just for Lorelai and Nicholas who were lost in each other's eyes.

Everyone could see the love radiating off them. I mean, Lorelai's friends were taking videos and pictures of the moment to forever capture the moment whilst Lorelai and Nicholas were savoring and cherishing it.

It truly was them against the whole world.

The Chavez boy grinned, twirling the Grande girl around her before capturing her in his arms to hold.

It was truly perfect.

"I'm happy I met you." Nicholas softly said.

"We really wouldn't be here without you confessing your crush on me." Lorelai winked at the boy who chuckled.

"Or without the triplets youtube video." Nicholas added on. "Speaking of music videos, are you going to do one for Risk?" The boy mentioned and questioned.

"Yeah." Lorelai nodded. "I'm looking at down one. Why? You wanna be in it?" She smirked.

"Can I?" Nicholas smiled.

"We'll see." Lorelai softly said, going on her tiptoes to kiss Nicholas' cheek, which made him blush.

The boy twirled her one more time and that's when the song ended, the realization finally hitting Lorelai that majority of the people in the room witnessed the whole thing.

"Sweetheart, it's time." Nicholas leaned down and whispered in her ear, gesturing towards the clock.

"It's midnight ya'll!" Charli exclaimed to everyone who had no gathered around her.

"Time for Lorelai to shine." She grinned, pointing towards the pop singer who was now making her way towards Charli.

Nicholas watched as the girl went, a proud smile on his face as Lorelai started speaking to the whole crowd about the song risk.

However, as many eyes were on her, her eyes remained on Nicholas because it is now always going to be him.

Forever & Always.

As her speech finished, the girl looked towards the speakers, the beat of Risk now playing.

"Ladies and Gentleman, Risk is all yours!"
