𝟢𝟣𝟦，𝗒𝖾𝖺𝗁, 𝗂 𝗍𝗁𝗂𝗇𝗄 𝗍𝗁𝖺𝗍 𝗒𝗈𝗎'𝗋𝖾 𝗌𝗐𝖾𝖾𝗍
𝗋𝖾𝖺𝗅 𝗅𝗂𝖿𝖾 𝗑 𝗌𝗈𝖼𝗂𝖺𝗅 𝗆𝖾𝖽𝗂𝖺

𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐋 𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐄 . . .

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓 𝐑𝐀𝐘𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐒𝐔𝐍𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 lit up the living room, causing the brunette girl's eyes to slowly flutter open, her eyes quickly shutting once the bright lit hit her.

After a few seconds of regaining herself, the girl opened her eyes back up and let out a soft yawn. Her hair was a mess and her eyes sore, but she felt a wave of happiness when she reminisced the previous night where her and Nicholas fell asleep to Tangled.

Speaking of Nicholas, her head lay on his chest and her arm was wrapped around his waist, his warmth radiating onto her. A small smile escaped from her lips as she gently lifted her head to look up at the boy who was peacefully sleeping.

Butterflies filled her stomach as she admired the boy. His fluffy hair very messy, his lips softly parted and most of all his arm protectively around the girl, hinting how he never wanted to let her go.

"You can check me out all you want." A raspy voice spoke out, startling the pop singer who embarrassingly looked away. Nicholas let out a chuckle, finally opening his eyes and letting the sunlight sink in before he went to admire the flushed girl.

"Don't be ashamed. I love it when you do that." He told her, a lazy smirk on his face whilst running a hand through his messy hair.

"Is this your way of flirting?" She asked him, playfully rolling her eyes.

"Yes, and you love it." Nicholas replied, gently rubbing his thumb on Lorelai's back which made her breath hitch.

"Idiot." She mumbled under her breath, a grin on her lips as she sat herself up. The Grande girl stretched her arms, her hoodie, well Nicholas's, lifting up slowly. Nicholas licked his lips, looking her up and down.

"You can check me out all you want." Lorelai mocked him, a giggle escaping her lips as Nicholas groaned, realising she had taken his words from just a second ago.

'Adorable.' She thought.

"So, what we doing today?" Lorelai asked the boy, pulling the hoodie down and facing the boy, whose cheeks were so scarlet.

"You still wanna hang out with me?" Nicholas stupidly asked her.

"Well, yeah." The girl shrugged, a sweet smile on her face.

"Well, aren't you breaking up with Theo today?" The American boy reminded her.

"Ah, shit." Lorelai mentally face-palmed. "Well, considering he was at the club last night i'm guessing he ended up fucking a girl and staying with." She rolled her eyes in annoyance, hating how she let herself be treated like that.

"Oh, wow." Nicholas's eyes widened. "Yeah, you should have left him ages ago."

"Like you said, people make mistakes." The girl said, remembering his words from last night. "And I so happened made a stupid one."

"Okay, moving on from this topic." Nicholas stirred off, Lorelai nodding in agreement as she definitely didn't want to talk about her current, almost ex, boyfriend.

"Wanna go get food from Cornelia Cafe?" The boy questioned the girl, whose eyes lit up at the mention of her favourite cafe in New York.

Nicholas let out a chuckle, his heart warming at how gorgeous and sweet this girl truly is. "Right, let me get ready, and don't worry, I'll give you a new pair of clothes."

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐇 𝐀𝐑𝐎𝐌𝐀 𝐎𝐅 𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐂𝐎𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐄 chipped cookies filled Nicholas's and Lorelai's nostrils, easily pleasing the two who had just stepped inside the cafe.

As usual, the cafe was busy. People either here for studying, catching up with old friends, chilling or just coming in to get a drink. It was just a cozy and safe environment that had the best snacks, drinks, etc.

"Look, there's a table right at the end." Lorelai pointed towards the empty seating area towards the near end of the cafe, next to the large window that was visible for the whole of New York to see inside. Nicholas nodded, the two strolling towards the table and sitting down.

"It's literally giving All Too Well vibes out there." The pop singer said, looking out of the window to see the crispy, brown-orange like leaves falling from the tree and the patter of soft rain on the window

"All Too Well?" The boy confusingly asked, making the girl gasp.

"So you know who Stiles Stilinski and Steve Harrington are but you don't know the song All Too Well where the actor of Stiles Stilinski featured in!?" She exclaimed, her mouth wide open in shock and disbelief.

"Hey, Stiles was my icon growing up!" Nicholas responded back, a hint of laughter in his tone. "But, I'm guessing that's a Taylor Swift song?" He questioned, earning a nod from the brunette girl.

"Literally the best ten minute song ever." She said.

"Fucking hell, ten minutes!?" He replied back in shock.

"I mean, it's Taylor Swift. Every one of her songs needs to be literally ten minutes." Lorelai stated. "The longest song I've ever wrote is about six minutes." She told him.

"Well, in that case, I think you should write a ten minute song about me because I'm sweet." Nicholas grinned, placing his chin in his palm.

"No." She told him, the boy's smile turning into a gasp.

"Ouch. You've hurt me." The Chavez boy dramatically spoke up, clutching his heart as if it had just shattered.

"You'll live." Lorelai shrugged off, biting her lip to refrain her smile.

"Will I though?" He tilted his head and asked her, flashing her a pair of his puppy dog eyes which made her melt inside.

"Stop acting cute." The girl blurted out.

"Aw you called me cute." Nicholas grinned, knowing damn well he will forever bring this up.

"You're annoying." Lorelai rolled her eyes.

"Yeah, you adore it, and me." The Chavez boy winked. If only Nicholas knew how bad Lorelai's heart was beating for him. He could literally do the most craziest thing and she would thank him.

"Hi, would you guys like to order?" A waitress walked up to them, making Lorelai look up at her and forget what she was going to say to Nicholas.

"Yes, I'll have an Iced Latte and some chocolate chip cookies." Lorelai politely told the girl, whose eyes were focused on Nicholas's.

Upon seeing this, the brunette girl felt a feeling of jealousy flood inside her. She had no idea why, but she hated how the gorgeous woman before her had her eyes practically glued to Nicholas.

"Yeah, I'll have exactly what she's having." Nicholas finally spoke up, making Lorelai look over at him to realise that he had been staring at her the entire time, a smile on his face as he made no attention to look at the waitress.

Lorelai softly smiled at him, feeling the glare the waitress was sending her way, but she couldn't care less. If it was with Theo, she knew the situation would be different, so for once it felt nice that someone was paying attention to her and was understanding her. Nobody got her the way Nicholas does.

The waitress let out an annoyed sigh and quickly wrote down the order before walking away, making Nicholas let out a laugh. "Damn, she seemed annoyed." He said.

"Don't think someone likes me." Lorelai rolled her eyes, unbothered by the situation.

"Her problem." Nicholas chuckled, his eyes sinking and losing himself in Lorelai's. 

As the two engaged themselves in a conversation filled with laughter, joy and happiness, they completely forgot about the world around and simply enjoyed each other's company because in the end it was going to forever be them.
