She held her fist high and knocked on the door, her whole body shivering due to the cold weather and the rain that was heavily pouring down.

Within a second, the door quickly opened and there stood a charming, yet concerned Nicholas.

"Oh shit, come in." He urged the girl, whose hand he reached for, and gently pulled her into his house, closing the door.

Lorelai stood before the boy, her face stained with tears, her hair damp from the rain and her clothes soaking wet.

"I didn't know where else to go. I can leave if you want me too." She told the boy, who quickly shook his head.

"Like I said, my door is always to you." He responded back, softly smiling which made her smile.

"I'm going to get you some clothes to change into and make you a hot chocolate, if that's okay with you?" The Chavez boy politely told the girl, who silently nodded.

Nicholas was so caring, polite and welcoming and it made her heart burst. She didn't care how many times she had said it, but this man is perfect. He's flawless.

The brunette girl followed after the boy who had taken her up to his room. Her eyes wandered around his room, simple yet cozy.

He had posters of things he loved over the wall, a tv opposite his king sized bed and a gaming set up. There were twinkle lights over his bed, books stacked on the shelf beside the tv and an acoustic guitar next to his window, surprising the pop singer.

"You play?" She finally spoke up, looking back and forth between the boy.

Nicholas looked up from his drawer and towards the guitar. He then looked back at the girl and nodded. "Not a lot, but I can play." He responded.

"Compared to you, I'm shit." He lightly chuckled, looking back at his drawer and picking up a black hoodie and grey sweatpants.

"I doubt that." The girl softly spoke, reaching for the clothing that Nicholas has handed over to her. "Thank you."

"No problem." The boy smiled. "The bathroom is out there and on your left." He informed the girl who nodded and walked out towards the bathroom.

The Chavez boy watched as she walked away. His mind curious on what had happened the second they ended the call, but he knew he wasn't going to pressure her into telling him.

If she wanted to tell him then she would do that, but if she was uncomfortable then he would let it go.

Nicholas closed his drawer and headed downstairs towards his kitchen. He set up the ingredients for the hot chocolate and started making it, his mind wandering off to the girl who was upstairs.

The Grande girl sat on the closed toilet seat, her head in her hands as she let out a frustrated sigh.

She was too caught up in her own emotions and that made her just want to scream. She hated feeling like this, but she forced herself to get back up, and that's what she did.

Lorelai got out of her clothes and into Nicholas's, which by the way were very big on her. The girl tried to tighten the sweatpants, but they were still loose. Annoyed, she left it there and quickly pulled her wet hair up into a messy bun.

Looking back at her appearance, she let out a sigh and opened the tap, the warm water pouring on her hands before she splashed it onto her face.

After freshening up, the girl walked downstairs to the smell of hot chocolate.

"Nicholas?" The brunette girl called out.

"I'm coming!" He responded back and in a few seconds he walked out of the kitchen with two mugs in his hand, one for Lorelai and the other for himself.

As Lorelai watched this, she let out a smile. He was genuinely one the most favourite person in her entire life and it hasn't been that long since they've known each other.

Nicholas looked at the girl up and down, finding his clothes on her looking cute.

Quickly snapping out of his thoughts, he gestured towards the living room and walked towards it.

The pop singer trailed after Nicholas like a lost puppy. The boy walked to the couch and sat down, placing the mugs on the table before them.

Lorelai sat down beside the boy who had pulled out a blanket, wrapping it around the cold girl. Then, he picked up one of the mugs and handed it to the girl, who had thanked him.

"If you want to talk about it we can but if you don't we can sit here in silence or just watch a movie." He spoke out to the girl. "Your choice."

The Grande girl took a sip of the hot chocolate before licking her lips. "I wanna talk." She softly said. "I need to talk someone." She added on, making Nicholas nod.

"Take your time though." He softly told her.

After a few seconds of silence, Lorelai let out a sigh, her eyes remaining on the hot chocolate that was now half full.

"Theo came over." She started off as, the name almost making her feel sick and disgusted in him and herself.

"Theo your boyfriend?" He gently tilted his head.

"No, Theo my dog." She sarcastically said, but not even her sarcasm made her crack a smile.

"Sorry." She added on after a few seconds.

"It's fine." Nicholas muttered. "Go ahead."

"He was drunk and angry, which is literally how he is all the time." She told the boy, who carefully payed attention, already hating the man.

"He said some cruel things, but like he would always say horrible things to me. Then he called me a word that he'd never said to me before and it just hurt and affected me so bad that at one second I believed I was one. I still do." Lorelai said, her voice shaking.

"He just always made me doubt myself and now he's gone calling me a slut when he's the one at the club doing god knows what with who!" The girl spat out, her voice getting angrier when she thought of him.

"I also hate myself because I can't get myself to break up with him." She told him.

"I thought I could change him, but I realised myself that he won't ever love me so what is the fucking point!" She poured out of all of her feelings to Nicholas, her eyes watering and tears falling down.

"I'm the one who always says sorry first and then has me feeling sorry by making me think it's my fault." She breathed out, wiping away her tears.

"Lori, he's toxic. He doesn't deserve such a beautiful, kind and loving girl. He's a fucking dickhead who literally deserves to rot in hell for making you feel like this." He told the girl before carrying on.

"If he was here right now I would literally punch him." Nicholas said, making Lorelai slightly smile.

The boy sighed, reaching for Lorelai's hand and holding it in his warm hands. "You're not a slut. You're perfect. Do not ever doubt yourself." Nicholas calmly stated.

"And Lori, you need to break up with him. This isn't healthy. There are so many other people out there who would be lucky to have you."

What Nicholas didn't add was that he would be one of them. If Lorelai was ever his, he would cherish her with so much love and make her feel like the most loveable girl in the world.

"Every time I try to break up with him, I always back down. I get scared and I get anxious." She revealed.

"But for some reason I feel guilty. I mean I ruined a friendship just to have him, I did everything for him and he treated me so bad, yet I still defended him to all my friends."

"Why would you feel guilty?" Nicholas confusingly asked.

"Have you heard wildflower?" She asked the boy, who nodded and that's when all the pieces fell in place from him. A moment of silence lingered between them.

"I'm a horrible person, so this is my karma." She breathed out, looking everywhere around the room.

"You're not a horrible person." Nicholas stated. "Everyone makes bad choices. Okay, we all make mistakes."

"You seem perfect." Lorelai whispered.

"But I'm not. I make mistakes and I do choices that I'll regret. But I don't punish myself for them and that's what you shouldn't do. You shouldn't punish yourself for past mistakes." He told the girl who payed her full attention as to what he was saying.

"Lori, it's time to free yourself. You don't have to live in guilt. You need to go to Theo and tell him it's over." Nicholas added on. "If you want, I can come with you for some support."

Lorelai remained silent, her mind focusing on Nicholas. He was so gorgeous that it made her mad. He was cool and he made her happy. She felt as if she would sink and drown and die with how strong his magnetic field was.

"Okay." She softly said after a moment of silence. "I'm going to break up with Theo." When those words came out of her, she felt a wave of relief flood through her.

Yes, there was some guilt, but she felt as if she could finally breathe. He was holding her back and with the help of Nicholas, she was letting him go, which realistically was something she should have done a year ago.

"Now, to lighten up the mood, wanna watch a movie?" Nicholas asked the girl, watching as a smile lit up on her face.

"Tangled!" Lorelai eagerly said to the boy as she loved that movie.

"Whatever you want, sweetheart." Nicholas smiled, switching on the tv and putting on the Disney movie.

As the movie turned on, Lorelai leaned her head on Nicholas's chest, a wave of happiness inside her.

If he had never told everyone who his celebrity crush was or if them two were never handcuffed, then there wouldn't be any of this and Lorelai hated the thought of that because Nicholas really brought her comfort and joy.

The pop singer looked at the screen before looking up at Nicholas, her eyes sparking up at the gorgeous man before her.

On queue, the Chavez boy looked down at Lorelai, his eyes sparking up and sending her a heartwarming smile.

They were seriously perfect.
