After spending two whole weeks finding a suitable and perfect school for Rhea and getting all the paper work done, the first day of school for Rhea was finally here.

Rhea was usually more moody this morning as compared to others. She took extra long time in finishing breakfast and getting ready than usual. She just wanted to delay everything so she can skip the school.

But her luck wasn't that good because shraddha was their to make sure she's ready for the first day of her school. This time even her cute pleading eyes didn't work in front of her father.

"Daddy?" Rhea tried to get his attention as he was busy driving the car while shraddha was sitting on the passenger's seat.

"I'm your princess, right?" she asked and he looked at her from the front mirror and nodded.

"Then why are you making me go to school? Princesses don't go to school. Have you ever saw Cinderella, snow white or rapunzel going to school?" she asked and he couldn't help but shook his head with a light chuckle as shraddha laughed.

"Even Anna and Elsa were kept locked inside their home until they were big." she whined.

"True... Because Elsa had magic powers. And you don't!" he replied with a smile.

"That's not fair!" she pouted.

"God! You should stop watching these Disney movies." Varun told her.

"Then how will I know who's my prince charming? Watching Disney gives me hints." she said and Varun's eyes widened in shock.

"Oh Rhea.... You're so cute!" Shraddha exclaimed as she turned around in her seat and gently pulled Rhea's cheeks.

"There's nothing cute about it!" he looked at shraddha for a split second and she frowned at him.

"And Rhea you're too young to think about prince charming!" he told her.

"Why?" a crease appeared on her forehead.

"Forget it, young girl! You aren't dating until you're thirty." he said sternly and Shraddha smiled at his over-protectiveness.

"Thirty? I'll be old then." she said.

"But you'll still be my baby!" Varun smiled at her.

"Anyways, my prince charming will come and take me away from you." she smirked.

"He'll have to go through me first." Varun said.

"Haven't you seen movies daddy? It's the prince who always wins and the evil monster dies." Rhea said dramatically flipping her hair.

"Did you just call me an evil monster?" he asked with wide eyes and Shraddha laughed out loud.

Varun couldn't help but smile seeing shraddha laughing her heart out. This was the first time she was really being herself since he brought her home. It made him feel less guilty to see her finally coming back to life slowly.

Few more minutes into the drive and they finally reached the school. Both varun and Shraddha made their way to principal's office along with Rhea.

"Morning Mrs. Mathur!" Varun greeted the old lady.

"Good morning Mr and Mrs. Dhawan." she returned the same gesture.

"We just came to drop off Rhea and make sure everything is complete. The paper work and stuff." Varun told her.

"Don't worry Mr. Dhawan. All the requirements are complete. I'll call Rhea's class teacher and she'll take her. You guys can leave now." she said with a smile and varun nodded.

"Rhee.... It's just for only few hours okay." Shraddha said as she knelt down in front of Rhea.

"Your daddy and I will come to pick you up after school hours, okay?" she told her and hugged her.

"I love you!" Shraddha pecked her both cheeks before standing up again. Varun smiled seeing the scenario in front of him and was relieved that he made the right decision by choosing shraddha.

"Bye kiddo. Be good!" Varun ruffled her hair as both him and Shraddha made their way out of the principal's office.

"I'll drop you home and then I'll go to office." he told her as they were on their way back to the car.

"By any chance, can I come to office with you?" she asked fidgeting with her fingers.

"Office? Why? Not that I mind!" he told her as they both get inside the car.

"I just want to meet Sara. I'm calling her since days but she isn't picking up." she told him.

"Okay. Fine." he said and started driving.

"Sara!?" Shraddha entered Sara's cabin and she immediately got up from her position and approached her.

"OMG.... Shraddha!!!!" she squealed as she embraced her in a tight hug.

"What a pleasant surprise!" Sara said as they broke the hug and Shraddha smiled.

"I was missing you and you weren't picking my calls so I thought of paying you a visit." Shraddha replied.

"Yeah! Sorry.... I was just a little bit busy." she looked down.

"No problem. I know how varun is...." she said and both of them chuckle.

"Come have a seat!" Sara offered and they both sat down on the couch.

"Speaking of varun... How is it going with you guys?" Sara asked with a smirk forming on her face.

"It's not good, not bad either but yeah things are getting back to normal. Today was Rhea's first day of school." she told her.

"What? My munchkin started going to school!?" Sara said in an awe and Shraddha nodded.

"Actually... The main reason I came here to meet you is because I wanted to ask you something." Shraddha said.

"I'm listening... But first let me order some coffee." Sara said.

"Hello? Where are you lost?" Varun said waving his hand in front of kartik.

"Huh? Sorry... I just got distracted." he replied.

"Stop daydreaming about Sara and concentrate on what I'm saying." Varun told him.

"Can we not talk about her, please?" he gritted his teeth.

"Woah, what happened?" Varun asked.

"Nothing. Continue what you were saying." kartik said.

"Ashok Khanna offered me a huge contract!" Varun said and Kartik looked at him shocked.

"Ashok Khanna?" Kartik confirmed and varun nodded.

"It's a really really huge contract of a new brand. It can be damn beneficial for us. But...." he trailed off.

"But what??" kartik asked.

"You guys kissed?!?!?" Sara said out loud.

"Shhh.... Keep it low, will you?" Shraddha whisper yelled.

"You guys kissed?" she again asked.

"He was drunk Sara!" Shraddha reminded her.

"But you weren't. And you kissed him back." Sara said.

"Not helping!" she said burying her head in her hands.

"And the worst part is he doesn't remember a thing." Shraddha told her.

"So do you wanna tell him?" Sara asked.

"Are you crazy? I would never... But at the same time I want him to know what happened." Shraddha replied.

"Why are you so much bothered by it? I mean it was just one meaningless kiss, or was it?" Sara raised her eyebrow.

"That's the thing.... I just can't stop thinking about that kiss... I don't know how to say this but.... It's like my soul is craving for more and I don't even know varun that much." she rubbed her hands over her face in frustration.

"Oh my God.... You're falling for him." Sara stated and Shraddha's head immediately shot up in her direction.

"So what's stopping you from signing the contract?" kartik asked.

"Didn't you just hear my whole speech? He wants shraddha to do the brand shoot." Varun replied.

"It isn't a big problem." kartik stated.

"Isn't a big problem? We are talking about shraddha here. She will never do this." Varun said.

"You basically bought her. You're the one who owns her." kartik said.

"You're telling me to force her?" Varun asked and Kartik shrugged his shoulder.

"What's gotten into you? And I-I can't force her for something like this. It's wrong!" Varun said.

"Why? You don't care about her. Or the great varun dhawan has finally started to care about someone. Don't tell me you're in love with her." kartik chuckled.

"Oh shut up! It's nothing like that." Varun replied.

"Then prove it!" kartik smirked at him as varun looked on.
