BOUNS CHAPTER (Tiana!)
Here's a little background info on this chapter. Basically, this is the chapter where Biana gave the idea that they should do a dance. It's just a small bit of what the dance was like for Biana, and I hope you guys have so much for reading it, cause this was probably one of my favorite chapters to write!
Biana POV:
Biana stood by the wall, waiting for someone to ask her to dance. She came up with the idea of doing a dance so she could see if he possibly liked her. But as of right now it didn't seem like it.
Biana sighed. It wasn't fair. Sophie was able to round up every single guy in the entire eleven world with a bat of an eyelash, while Biana would have to fall at a guy's feet for him to even notice her at all.
And it's not like she was mad at Sophie or anything, just maybe a little jealous is all. Biana turned her attention to Sophie, who was dancing with Fitz. Just look at her! She was so pretty. She didn't even need a makeover to have all the boys drooling.
But the more she thought about it, the worse she felt. She shouldn't be jealous of her best friend. It wasn't right. Or kind at all. Just because Sophie's had more luck in catching guys doesn't mean that Biana needed to start get jealous of her!
Truth is? She just want one guy. Sophie can have every single guy in the world if she wants, every one but him. If she could just leave him... Then Biana would fine. The second she saw him it's like she knew he was the one.
She waited a little bit longer. No one came up to her. She sighed.
"Forget it," She whispered, and went to sit on the couch. She stared at the presents feeling heartbroken, when all of a sudden she heard a soft voice.
"Hey, what's wrong?"
It was Dex. Not the one she was hoping for, but at least she could hang out with a friend.
"Nothing," She mumbled.
"Biana, you know you can tell me, right?" Dex said softly.
She sighed, "Yeah I know. I guess I just wanted this one guy to ask me to dance, but he never did. I thought maybe, just maybe he was into me, you know? But I just... I don't think he is," She looked away. It felt weird to spill all her guts out to Dex. But somehow it also felt right. Maybe that's why he and Sophie were best friends.
"Are you going to tell me who he is?" Dex asked.
"Let's just say he has sliver bangs," She hinted. Most people already knew about her crush on Tam anyway. What difference did it make?
"Oh-that's-that's great Biana. You should go up to him. I overheard him talking to Linh about asking to dance with you, but then he said no because he thought you would reject him."
Biana perked up, "He did?!" She pulled Dex into a huge hug, "Thank you, Dex! Your the best!" She cried, squeezing him tight.
"Yeah, of course." She couldn't miss the sadness in his voice when he said it, but she was to excited and nervous to care.
She combed down her hair, and straightened her dress, and then she walked calmly up to Tam.
"Biana, what are you doing here?" Tam asked, pulling at his sliver bangs. Biana swore she could see a hint of blush on his cheeks.
She took a deep breath, and then she went for it, "I'm here to ask you if you want to dance with me. I've been waiting for you for FOREVER, but you never came. So here I am," She smiled brightly, and a giggle escaped her lips.
Tam seemed to shine at the words, "Yeah, I'd love to!" He exclaimed, "Er-I mean-sure I guess?"
Biana laughed and pulled him onto the dance floor. She noticed that Sophie had switched partners and was now dancing with Keefe. And was Fitz dancing with... Marella? Hm. I never would have thought...
"Sorry if I'm bad at this," Tam apologized, "I'm not very good at dancing."
"You'd actually be surprised by this, since it's actually a secret of mine," She leaned in to whisper into his ear, "I'm a terrible dancing too."
"No way, really?" Tam's eyes widened. She nodded. That was the only person she ever told about her horrid dancing skill's. Besides her brother and her parents, obviously.
Another song started to play (Biana didn't know the title) and throughout the whole time, she stepped on Tam's feet 9 times, did a terrible spin 6 times, and messed up the entire dance move 4 times. New record.
"Wow, you weren't kidding," Tam laughed when the song ended.
"That's the price to pay when you're good at everything else," She joked. Tam smirked.
"Come here you," Then he pulled in into a dip-and this time she DIDN'T fall-and kissed her. Biana's lips melted into his like they were the only two people left in the world. She wasn't even conscious of anyone else but her and Tam.
Fireworks exploded in her body, as Tam's slivers bangs fell into her face. But she liked the feeling. It made her feel closer to him.
Finally they both away, restless and out of breath. Biana looked around, and most everyone seemed too busy dancing to ever notice their kiss.
"Do you think anyone noticed that?" Biana asked, her face probably as red as a tomato.
"Doesn't matter," He whispered, pulling her in for another long kiss. Biana enjoyed every minute of it. Who knows what's going to happen in the future, with the Neverseen, and Sophie's crazy powers, and who they're going to end up with in the future, but Biana knew that this kiss? This kiss was happening right now. This kiss was real.
And who cares if everyone in the entire world was staring at them right now. All Biana knew was that she wasn't going to stop.
