PERCY

You were just practicing swordfighting by the arena, until you decided to sit on a nearby log and take a small break. That is, of course, until you were interrupted.

"Y/N!" Percy's voice sounded in your ears, you turned to see him running towards you. He halted, almost falling but quickly regaining his composure and giving you a lopsided grin. You laughed at his antics. "What's up, Percy?"

Percy looked down at you with excitement and mischief glittering in his eyes. "How about you and me have a friendly competition? Just a little swordfight?" He asked, secretly hoping you'd say yes. Since your last encounter, Percy was curious about you. He'd seen you train with your sword before, but wanted to see how you'd manage going up against him.

"Hmm..." You put a hand to your chin, pretending to be deep in thought. Then you gave a nod. "Sure, I don't see why not."

The Poseidon boy pumped his fists in the air in triumph. "Yes!"

You stood up from the log. Percy uncapped Riptide. Both of you moved into position, mirroring each other's poses.

He went to strike first, however you blocked him. Your swords clashed together, the sound ringing through the arena. Percy shoved you backwards and you stumbled a little, but quickly regained your composure.

Kicking his leg, you waited for him to trip and fall, which he did. But once you aimed, he rolled out of the way and got up again.

When Percy went to swipe again, you ducked and hit his hand with the blunt side of your sword, causing his grip to loosen and Riptide to fly a few meters away. His eyes widen with astonishment. Though he seemed to be even more interested now, rather than angry.

Panting, you dug your sword into the ground with a triumphant smirk. "Looks like I win. But you sure put up a good fight." Percy picked up Riptide, his smile matching yours. "You're not too bad yourself, L/N."

ANNABETH

The wind blew through your hair, a gentle summer breeze that swept across camp.

Until you caught sight of Annabeth jogging up to you.

"Hello." She said. "Can I sit with you?" You simply gave a nod in response along with a smile, patting the grassy spot beside you. Though you did wonder why she would suddenly seek your company.

It was silent for a while, before she spoke up again.

"So, about the chariot race in two days." Annabeth was fiddling with the hem of her t-shirt. "Would you like to be my partner? You seem like you could come up with really good techniques. And you weren't too bad in the last races you've participated in either, I saw it."

"Whaaat?" You dragged, feigning shock. "The daughter of the goddess of wisdom needs a feeble child of G/P like me to help her?"

The Athena girl glares at you with her grey eyes. "Do you want to be my partner or not?" She internally flinches at her own words, she didn't mean to sound to harsh.

Contemplating, you were silent just a moment. Technically there's no firm rule you can't partner up with someone from a different cabin for the chariot races. Everyone's just always done it like that. But besides, Annabeth once teamed up with Percy too. "I'd like that." Annabeth widens her eyes, not expecting you to agree so quickly. But she quickly regained her composure. "Alright, we should start devising strategies then."

JASON

Currently engrossed in a game of volleyball with some other kids of Athena, Nike and Apollo, you were barely able to notice the blond guy walking a little in the distance, near the cabins. After serving the ball you decide to take a moment to observe. Jason was stumbling around for a while before hastily entering his cabin.

Huh. He looked worried. Maybe you should check up on him- after the game!

---------------

Alright, here we are. Standing on the steps to Jason's cabin. You wondered what could possibly be troubling him, but you'll find out now anyways.

However, as soon as you step foot into cabin one, the absolute mess you were greeted with was unexcpected. Stuff was scattered across the floor, and- was that the trash can put over and distributed too? And in the midst of it all, none other than Jason, currently shuffling around and messing up his bed sheets.

Once he noticed you, a breath of relief escaped his lips before his eyes glittered in pleading. "Y/N, can you please help me find my glasses? I.. I'm sure I put them somewhere here."

Ah. No wonder it looks like Tartarus broke loose in here. Piper told you just how often Jason misplaces his glasses, and how he absolutely looses it looking for them.

Yet you have to hold in a laugh at the current situation, and how distressed he looks. You step closer to the bed, where the son of Jupiter is standing and running a hand through his blonde hair.

"Dude."

"What?!"

"I- pfft-"

"Why are you laughing at me-"

With a giggle, you took his glasses off his head and put them onto his nose. Jason blinked a few times, before his face grew a little pink with embarrassment. "Oh... thank you." You just laughed at his silliness.

"So... since you absolutely messed up this place, guess you're gonna need help cleaning it before the counselours start their checkup." You stated once you recovered from your laughing fit, looking around as if to convince yourself how much of a chaos Jason actually created.

The blond ran a hand through his hair yet again, sighing. "You're right. Mind helping me out then?" He asked, but you were already picking up a shirt of his and folding it together. Jason laughed and grabbed a broom.

LEO

Leo had told you to come to Bunker 9 to pick up your weapon that he fixed, so you did. The swift visit was honestly impressing you a lot right now. Sure, of course you knew Leo discovered it in his first days at camp and after his first quest showed it to some, but you'd never actually been there. So many gadgets, construction plans and machines. The Hephaestus kids must really feel welcome here..

Though your marveling was interrupted by a certain Latino popping up from behind you suddenly. "Hola." Leo grinned at you.

"Hey. You done with my Y/W? Or should I come back another time?"

"Oh!-" For a second Leo looked like he had forgotten about your Y/W, but he walked to the back of some large desk and picked it up from behind there.

"Here." He gave it to you, hoping you'd be satisfied with his work. "As good as new."

You examined your fixed-up weapon for some heartbeats. Leo wasn't lying. It really did look as good as knew, the scratches it had were also gone. Then you gave a sigh. "Thanks again, Leo... I don't know what I would've done if it weren't for you."

The Hephaestus boy grinned. "Course. I didn't have anything better to do at the moment anyways. Guess you could say it was a win-win situation we crossed paths."

Smiling right back at him, you turned to one of the machines you were admiring before. "What's this one do?" You asked curiously. Leo stared at you with a twinge of wonder for a bit, suprised you were actually showing interest in an automaton of his. But soon the brightest smile he could muster spread upon his lips. "Well let me show you!"

PIPER

The campfire was nice, really. You liked how the camp members were all one on spot, together, partially so familiar with one another that the cheesy songs weren't even embarrassing. It was like... family.

So far it's been a good two weeks since you arrived at Camp Half-Blood. Things actually haven't been going that bad, and you haven't been overthinking that much...

Well, if you exclude the facts greek gods and their mythology actually exist, one of them is your parent and you possibly have cool powers. Eh. No biggie. Honestly, you were more excited than terrified of the demigod life.

But either way, the Hermes cabin was crowded (as always), and you hoped the claiming would be happening soon because sleeping on the floor is hella uncomfortable.

"Hi." A voice shoots you out of your thoughts. You look up to see Piper towering over you for a few seconds before sitting down next to you.

She was really nice, having been the one who introduced you to everything and all... Infact, you dared to believe you have formed a bond with her. The daughter of Aphrodite stuck with you until you were comfortable on your own, which didn't take too long.

Piper grinned at you, leaning over your shoulder. "Wanna sneak away after the campfire with Jason, Leo and I?" She whispered, glancing at Mr D as to make sure he wouldn't hear. Not that he wasn't too focused on his diet Coke anyway.

You chuckled, thinking about her offer. Yeah, it might be against the rules... but who cares? "I'd love that, Pipes." Piper's grin grew. "Great." She took your hand, giving it a thankful squeeze. It wasn't that she was bold like that, she only ever got close to people whom she knew wouldn't mind it... which she hoped you didn't.

Suddenly, silence filled the air. Confused, you glanced over at Piper for an explaination, but like everyone else, she was looking above you with astonishment-filled eyes. You slowly raised your gaze to see a certain symbol glowering over your head.

NICO

You were collecting strawberries for the Demeter kids, since they apparently wanted to cook up some dessert for tonight with the fruit. And of course you were chosen for that job. Not that you minded anyway. It wasn't burning hot today like it mostly was in the strawberry fields.

And the spot you were in right now was positioned near the field's last row, so you stood in the nice shade of a tree too. Not gonna lie, you were also a biiit tempted to try a strawberry, but restrained yourself. (Such a heroic deed.)

"..Hey." A smooth voice popped out of nowhere.

"GAHh! Is our every conversation going to start with you creeping up on me?" You shrieked, almost dropping the basket as you whipped around to face Nico di Angelo, yet again. He simply gave a shrug in response to your question.

"As mysterious as ever, I see." You huffed. "How'd you get here so fast anyway? I didn't see you anywhere around."

"Shadow traveling."

"Ah. So is there anything you need?" Nico shook his head at your question. "No. Just feeling a little bored."

Raising your eyebrows, you placed the basket of strawberries onto the ground and wiped your hands on your jeans. "There's nothing you could be doing right now? No Percy or Jason asking you for a duel? No ghost that's gotta be cast back to the underworld?"

He shook his head again.

It took you a few seconds to decide what to say. "Well... wanna help me then?" Right as those words left your mouth you wanted to slap yourself. Who'd want to pick strawberries in their free time? For a second Nico seemed suprised, but you could've sworn he had a small smile on his face. Suprisingly, he nodded. "Sure."

WILL

Will was just peacefully practicing archery by the range. Healing may be his main ability, but he's still a natural with the bow and arrow (duh).

He took another arrow out of his quiver, aimed and shot. The arrow flew a few feet towards the target and hit a bullseye. The son of Apollo was about to try again (which is a little silly, his skills are already perfect), when he heard a whistle behind him.

"Damn, you're good at that." He turned and saw you standing there, seemingly having watched his shot.

"Hey." Will smiled, then glanced at your arm. "Does it still hurt?"

Smiling, you shook your head. "Nah, it's all good. Thanks to your awesome medical expertise."

"Did you need anything, Y/N?"

You bit the inside of your cheek uneasily at his question. Now that you saw him catch a break for once, you didn't really want to bum out his free time. "Actually...I came to fetch you up since Gracie told me she needs help in the infirmary."

Will raised his eyebrows. "Oh." He sighed. "Alright."

"I'm sorry." You blurted out, to which Will blinked. A smile stretched across his lips. "Ah, that's not your fault." He mused, walking up to his previous target and plucking the arrow from it, putting it back into his quiver. "We can hang out at the campfire."

Feeling a little relieved at his calm answer, you nodded. Will patted your shoulder, grinning at you. "Be prepared for Disney musical songs tonight." He said, making you laugh. But your laughter died down just as quickly after that.

"Uh... that was a joke, right?"

"Nah."
