𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐘 𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐀 𝐒𝐔𝐍 peaked through the curtains of the master bedroom of the beach house. dutch slowly opened his brown eyes and found bella sound asleep next to him. holding her body close to his, he placed a passionate kisses along her neck and shoulder. bella slowly opened her eyes and turned to find her boyfriend smiling at her.

bella smiled as she rested her forehead against his, and placed a gentle kiss to his lips. "good morning."

"good morning." dutch smiled as he rested his forehead against her's and caressed her cheekbone with his thumb. "i hope i wasn't too rough on you."

"you weren't." bella smiled, as she caressed his jaw and her fingers traced small circles on his neck. "you were perfect, hon. i just hope i was alright, i mean..."

dutch quickly cut her off by gently kissing her, because truth is, it was perfect for him too. "you were perfect. i love you." he said as he rolled over into her bare body

bella smiled as she held her boyfriend in her arms, and held him close to her body. "i love you more." she smiled. there was a few moments of comfortable silence between the couple. "i guess we better get ready for school. you want some breakfast? are you hungry?"

"starving." dutch smiled as he laid back down on the bed and admired bella as she stood up and dressed herself. "i love you."

"i love you too." bella smiled as she sat back on her bed and pecked his lips, and he sat up and got dressed as well. after he got up and got dressed, dutch picked bella up bridal style and headed downstairs to the kitchen to make breakfast.

after breakfast, the couple walked upstairs, to get dressed for the day. while dutch decided on jeans and black teeshirt, bella decided on a light pink sweater, jeans, and sneakers. after getting their book bags ready, they walked down the stairs, walked down the stairs, and out the door.

after opening the passenger door for bella, and earning a thank you from her, dutch walked over to the driver's side, and drove towards the high school, as he placed his hand on bella's thigh. as they drove down the freeway, and george strait's the chair began to play. "honey, would you mind turning it up just a tad? i love this song."

dutch smiled in reply, before he turned the radio up slightly. as the song continued to play, dutch laced his free hand with bella's. once the couple arrived at school, the brunette smiled warmly and waved at the guys, kissed her boyfriend and made her way over to ali, who was waiting for her beside the lockers

ali smiled as she embraced her best friend. "hi hon! how was your christmas? most importantly, how's it going living with dutch?"

bella smiled as she opened her locker and grabbed her books she would need for her first period english class. "it was great, and living with dutch is amazing. tell me, how was your christmas?"

"i'm so happy for you, bella. mine was good as well." ali smiled as she held her books to her chest. "my grandparents came in from san francisco, they even met daniel."

bella turned to her best friend and raised a brow as she grabbed a pencil and pen out of her locker. "oh? how did that go?" she asked as she closed her locker door and the two best friends walked down the hall together

"they loved daniel, even more than johnny and to tell you the truth, i think mom and dad seem to like him more." ali smiled

"i'm so glad. you deserve someone who makes you happy." bella smiled

ali smiled as she and bella took their seats in english class. "speaking of happy. you and dutch."

bella smiled as she turned to look at the back of the classroom where her boyfriend shot her a sultry wink. "yeah. we've been talking about plans for college."

ali opened her english notebook and began taking notes. "you're still planning on going to ucla?"

bella nodded as she opened her english notebook as well. "that's the plan." she said as she began taking notes. "dutch said he wants to go as well. he's been working for my dad as a ranch hand, but he's applied for the agriculture program at ucla."

"that would be great." ali smiled

before bella could even respond, they heard a head fall on the desk, and loud snoring come from the back. it was always the jocks. "new year, same jocks." bella said and ali laughed as they turned back around in their seats

after morning classes were over, it was lunch time and bella and dutch decided to get take out and go home for the day. the couple sat in the kitchen eating their lunch as head over heels by tears for fears played on the MTV

"i can't believe i let you talk me into doing this." bella sighed as she dipped her fries in ketchup.

dutch chuckled as he wiped his hands on the napkin, and turned to his girlfriend. "what?"

bella chuckled as she set her soda glass down. "you know what; ditching school. if we get caught, you're taking the blame."

dutch shook his head and chuckled. "so last night, i really didn't hurt you?" he asked as he took her hand in his own.

bella's hazel eyes met his, and she gently answered, "i've always heard it hurts when a girl loses her virginity, but my mom has always told me sex is supposed to be a deep connection between two people in love, so to answer your question, no. you didn't hurt me. was it your first time? like ever? it's okay, you don't have to tell me if you don't want to. i'll understand. you can tell me when you're ready." bella said

it no secret that bella had never had sex with anyone before him. dutch, well, he lived up to his reputation of being the badboy of the valley. at parties, he hooked up with random girls, and never thought twice about it either. the night he met bella, everything changed. he changed his ways and became a better man for her.

"i could lie to you and say it was, but it wasn't." dutcg said as he took bella's hand in his own. "the thing is, before i met you, as you well know, i was wilder than johnny. i went to every party they threw in the hills, slept with every girl who threw herself at me. the night i met you, i knew i didn't want to be that person anymore."

"honey, i don't hold that against you just because i waited and you didn't. you were honest with me, and to me, that's so much more than sex." bella said

"i know. i can't tell you how hard it was to restrain myself with you until you were ready, but it was so worth it in the end." dutch said

bella smiled as she stood up from her chair and moved to the comfort of his lap, and he wrapped his arms around her waist, while she wrapped her arms around his neck. "dutch, thank you for being honest with me. I'm so glad you were my first. i love you with all of my heart and soul. you're a good boyfriend and you treat me right. i'm so lucky to have you." she smiled as she caressed his cheekbone with her thumb

"i love you more than you'll ever know." dutch smiled as he rested his forehead against her's

"i love you too honey."
