008:Pumped up kicks

Y/n's P.O.V.:

"Its friday today Mr.Clark,the school council need to roam the whole school"I remind him as we walk down the long staircase as I adjusted my necktie and badge pin that as he face palms that he forgot again.

"Yeah,I'm sorry Ms.Y/n,but don't worry the car is ready—"Mr.Clark informs me when he was cut off by a crash that echoed trough the quiet hallways that probably came from the living room making me curious as I walk towards there where I saw mom ordering the maids to clean up the mess.

I then try to avoid the broken glasses on the ground as I stood beside my mom.

"What happened mom?"I asked as my mom smiled at me.

"Nothing to worry about darling,its just that this table collapsed out of nowhere making all of your pictures on top fell on the ground"My mom explains as I nodded and frown at the mess.

"Its just pictures mom,anyway I need to go"I say as she kissed my cheeks goodbye and I ran out of the house through another set of stairs towards the car where I immediately climbed and the car drove away quickly.

I stare outside seeing the clouds look so dark like its going to rain hard as I sighed when it indeed started to rain and the car started to turn in a corner when a white van suddenly appears in front making the car abruptly stop and the driver honk loudly at the van and the man on the passenger seat flipped my driver off as I shook my head.

"Just go the other way,I don't want more trouble"I said as the driver nodded and went the other way trying to find a shortcut from the heavy traffic.

We eventually arrived as my car stopped infront of the school and I curse myself from not bringing an umbrella as I hook my bag on my shoulders and I started to run towards the main gate while covering my head from the rain and I was too preoccupied to see the white van that almost hit us earlier as I entered the almost empty hallways and I started to run towards the council room.

"Okay sorry I'm late guys,but we need to start immediately"I announce as they all stand up and greeted me.

"Goodmorning president"they say as I greeted them back and I started to announce the buildings they will check for today.

Every friday the school council roams the whole school and check buildings that was assigned to them,so as the school council president,I need to assign them.

"Where's Chad?,he's supposed to be the one to check on the 2nd graders?"I ask as I close the folder as my eyes roam the room,but no Chad,hence I need to take over his side of the building as the president.

"Argh,nevermind.Lets just do this quickly"I said as I gave them their walkie talkie before we all disperse in different direction and I immediately walk away towards the building of sixth graders where my building is.

An hour have passed and I checked every classroom and wrote down the details,I then ran towards the 2nd graders when I heard shouting on the 1st graders side of the building but I shrugged it off to just another angry morning teacher.

So I entered the first classroom,greeting the teacher and the cute kids that waved at me and I saw a little boy smiled sweetly at me before he walks away to go god knows where.

I then checked the windows when my eyes finally caught the white van that almost hit us earlier.I squint my eyes to see it clearer but I didn't see anyone inside or outside the car.

Like in cue,the lockdown alarm of the school started blaring as the teacher and I look at eachother before we started to lock the windows and doors and making the kids go back on their sits but I noticed that someone is missing.

"Shit"I whispered as I exhaled frustratedly before I slid out of the door before locking it without the teacher noticing as I started to walk around cautiously looking for that little kid.

"I repeat,this is not a drill.We remind all the teachers to lock the doors and windows.Unidentified armed men are inside the school"A teacher announced in the speaker as I turn in a corner when I heard gunshots making me flinch.

I then heard footsteps from the hallway I was from as I heard a crying inside the janitor's closet as I immediately opened it and locked the janitor's room but the lock is broken so I just left it close as I back away from the door when I hit something and it yelp.

...it yelp?

I looked down and my eyes widened when I caught a glimpse of the little kid in the dark making me sigh in relief that he's safe.

"Hey,hey,hey,its okay.What's your name?"I asked as the kid continued to cry

"A-armani C-Chase"The kid sobbed and I nod

"Okay Chase?,I'll call you Chase.I need you to be quiet so the bad guys won't find us okay?"I ask and Chase nodded as he tried to stop himself from crying.

"How old are you?"I ask as he started to calm down more.

Chase then raised seven fingers as I nodded and made him sat beside me closer.

Third Person's P.O.V.:

The alarm of the academy blared as everybody ran in different direction to find their masks,knives or whatever they need every mission.

That's why I still don't know why Allison doesn't have a freaking megaphone for more chances of winning.

Anyway,everyone got ready as they fell in a straight line in front of the limo that will take them on the scene of the crime.

"There are reported armed men,it is unindentified how many are there,I want you all to take them down without anyone getting hurt"Sir.Reginald explains as the kids entered the limo.

"This will take you to Xavier Academy"Sir.Reginald announces as he closes the door and the car drove off and he entered the academy.

"Xavier Academy?"Five mutter as he ran his hand trough his hair and he started to bounce his legs up and down.

"Are you okay?"Klaus asked and Five shook his head

"That's Y/n's school"Five says as their eyes widened

"What?"Diego exclaims

"I'm sure she's fine"Allison says trying to calm everybody

"You don't know that!"Five hissed before he sighed frustratedly and sat back

They all impatiently wait to arrive at the school since the roads are slippery from the rain with the heavy traffic that pisses Five off more.

They eventually arrived as the academy climb off the car to see five police cars and three ambulance outside waiting for god knows what.

People are on the other side pf the road watching what's happening and there are alot of journalist waiting for what's going to happen.

On one corner Five saw some students wearing the same uniform as Y/n that indicates their grade and Five tried to find her in them but she's not there making him sigh and hope she's okay.

"What's happening officer?"Luther asks as the police explained to them what's happening and they can't enter yet because the armed men are said to have hostages.

"I think we can handle this officer"Diego says but the police tried to stop them making the kids frustrated.

But another police called out for the academy as they run towards the officer who showed them the blue print of the whole school.

"Hey,you guys the superhero kids?"The officer asked and they nodded

"Here's the blueprint,might help you guys.We're planning on going in,we already sent one team to clear the place."The officer explained as the academy observes the blueprint and there are pebbles on certain places to show where they assumed the armed men are.

~|Changing POV's|~

Y/n's P.O.V.:

"Ms.Y/n?,you there?"Someone spoke over the radio as I scramble to get it out of my skirt pockets,breathing out in relief.

"Yeah,you guys safe out there?"I ask as me and Chase have been sitting here for over half an hour.

"We made it outside because we saw them before they saw us and we called the police.Are you inside a classroom?"

"No,I'm—"I answered but I was cut off when I heard footsteps outside the janitors closet as I pull Chase closer to me and we tried to hide behind buckets but the door suddenly opens as I open my palm to attack but I sighed in relief when I saw men in police uniform.

"Hey kids,you're safe now"One of the police say as he cautiously walk towards us and helped us stand up while Chase hid behind me but the officer smiled at him so Chase calmed down and stood beside me as the police officer led us out of the janitors closet.

"Ms.Y/n are you okay?"I hear one of my youngest student coucil,Delores,spoke over the radio.

"I'm okay Delores,we're going out—"I answered but I was cut off again by a series of gunshots as I pull Chase down on the floor.

The police officers tried to shoot them but they got them first as I then opened the palm of my right hand and a vine appeared as on one of the armed mens neck,the vine wrapped around his neck as I the thorns of the vines prick him with a poison.

I did the same with my left hand and I eventually killed six of the men but I saw that the police officers are already dead too.

"You okay Chase?"I look behind me to see Chase crying,his puffed red eyes looking at me in aweee.

"You have magic"He said in aweee and my eyebrows furrowed.

"You're more concern about my powers?"I asked as it sink in on me,I just killed people!,but I didn't have the time to process as an unexpected armed man appeared pointing his gun at Chase.

I didn't know what to do as I freaked out and I covered Chase with my body as I felt something hit me in the stomach and shoulders.

"You killed them all!"The man exclaims as he pulls my hair but I can't react as I feel myself get dizzy from the ringing on my ear.

"Y/n!"Chase yelled

"Run!"I say but the man pulled him by the hair making Chase winced and I can't do anything as the man had my hair on his other hand as he pulled me by the hair while I still lay on my back.

I tried to make vines but I was too exhausted and my eyes widened when I see blood pooling on my white polo as the man continued to pull me by my hair towards the stairs.

"Stop!"I yelled as I scratched his hands but he didn't budge as he started to pull me on the stairs and I felt the stairs hit my back making me groan when the stairs hit my back bone.

"Y/n!"Chase cries as the man continued to pull him by his hair as they walked towards god knows where.

Then after like forever the man stopped pulling me and I saw that he opened the door to the rooftop using the keys the fell from my pockets.

"No,no,no..."I grunt as I tried to get his hands of me again but he pulled us in a corner and I sat leaning my back on the wall as Chase kneels infront of me.

"Ms.Y/n are you okay?"he asks as he took his handkerchief and tried to stop my gunshot wounds from bleeding.

"My dad is a doctor,but I don't know if I'm doing this right"he whispered as I smiled a little making him calm down.

I then look behind him to see the man whispering frustratedly at himself like a madman.

"I'm not gonna die today!"The man yelled as he walked towards me and he grabbed my walkie talkie from his pockets that he must have taken earlier when he shot me.

"Y/n!?"My head perk up as I heard Five's?,voice from the walkie talkie,or am I hallucinating.

"Y/n!"I heard again as I was sure this time and I yelled for Five's name.

"Five help!"I screamed but the man slammed his gun on my head making me hiss as Chase yelled at the man but I pull him back.

"Look you're never gonna find us and this girl right here is gonna die before you do"The man says as I hear people yelling on from the other side of the walkie talkie

"What do you want?"Someone asked over the walkie talkie who sounds like Luther.

"I want a 100 million cash and a getaway car"The man says and my eyes widened

He knows who I am,they targeted me!

"How about we kill you?"I hear Five hissed from over the radio as I internally face palm.

"Well she's gonna die if you don't get it in half an hour"the man laughs and I winced when I felt the blood spill more.

"Oh shit"I whispered as I stop it from bleeding.

"Are you gonna be okay?"Chase innocently asks and I just nodded

"Let me talk to her"I hear Five asks and the man threw the walkie talkie at me and I fortunately caught it.

Third Person's P.O.V.:

Everybody froze as they heard series of gunshots inside the school and everybody hope that everyone is okay.

"Ms.Y/n!?"the girl calls out on the walkie talkie that got Five's attention as he walked towards them.

"Where is Y/n?"Five asks and the student council sighed as one spoke up.

"Ms.Y/n is still inside,but she's not in one of the classrooms,we were just talking to her before the gunshots"they explained as Five asked for the walkie talkie and they reluctantly gave it.

"Y/n?"Five calls out of the radio but he was met with cracking sounds then he heard a girl and a boy yell.

"Y/n!?"Five calls out again as the academy surrounds him.

"Y/n?"Five calls out again and someone answered,but it isn't Y/n.

"Look you're never gonna find us and this girl right here is gonna die before you do"a man on the other side spoke up as Luther grabbed the walkie talkie from Five's hand who glares at him.

"What do you want?"Luther asks

"I want a 100 million cash and a getaway car"the man answered and Five took the walkie talkie from Luther.

"How about we kill you?"Five hissed

"Well she's gonna die if you don't get it in half an hour"The man threatened as Five sighs

"Let me talk to her"Five says as his heart started beating so fast.

"Hey Five"Y/n calls out from the radio as they all listened

"Y/n,tell us where you are"Five says as they await for her answer

"I can't,he'll kill us,but hey,you know that I like you right?,I really want to see fireworks again"Y/n says emphasizing on the last two sentences

"Now is not the time Y/n,"Five says as Y/n snickered

"Of course dumbass"Y/n answered as Five's eyes widened when he realizes something as he glances at the rooftops.

"The rooftop!"Five says as he started to run away and his siblings followed him,but the police officers yelled for them to come back but they didn't.

"Which rooftop?"Luther asks

"This building"Five says as he spatial jumps away while the other groan as they ran towards the rooftop and their eyebrows furrowed as they ran past through dead bodies of police officers and other men.

But some of them were strangled with vines.

"Y/n?"Five slams the door of the rooftop open as the man fired at him but he immediately jumps behind the man and slammed his head on the railings.

"Y/n!"Five yelled as he kneels beside Y/n

"What's up Five,"Y/n smiles weakly

"Don't worry,you're going to be okay"Five says as he tried to stop the bleeding

"Who did this?"Ben asks

"I don't know"Klaus answered

"Lets go"Diego calls out a they followed the trail of blood until they reached the rooftop.

"Please tell me this is not Y/n's blood"Klaus says but they all just glanced between at eachother.

They eventually reached the rooftop where they saw the man dead or passed out on the floor while Five freaks out kneeling infront of Y/n with a kid beside them.

"Y/n?"Allison calls out and Y/n smiles weakly at them

"I'm going to take her,"Five says as he carried Y/n bridal style and he started running down the stairs with Chase beside them.

"I'm gonna take him"Luther says as he carried the unconcious man and they started to follow him down the stairs and they see Five running infront of them.

"Owww,"Y/n winced as she felt the bullet move inside.

"Sorry,I can't risk you getting worse if I spatial jump"Five whispered as he walk run and Y/n lay her head on his shoulders,closing her eyes she sighed.

"Hey,stay awake okay?"Five asks as Y/n kept her eyes close feeling tired.

"I'm gonna die aren't I?"Y/n whispered but Five shook his head as they reached the second floor and his eyes sstarted to tear up and he glanced at Y/n,and his heart started to beat so fast in panic as he saw how pale she was.

He then started to run faster towards the field where the ambulance is and they immediately took action as they took Y/n from his arms and they lay her on a hospital bag as they closed the door and drove away to the hospital.

"Is she gonna be okay?"Chase asks making Five's attention turn to him and without him noticing Chase has been holding on his blazer this whole time.

"Yeah"Five nodded

"Promise?"Chase asks and Five reluctantly nodded

Chase then nodded,content at the answer Five gave him.

"Chase!"Chase then turns around to see his parents as he smiled an ran to them.

"Is Y/n okay?"Ben asks as they reached Five who stood there staring at the ambulance drive away.

~|At the mansion|~

"And here we see one of the students of The Umbrella Academy is carrying a body from one of the building!"The reporter said as everybody in the mansion watches the news

"Oh my—is that Y/n L/n!?The Umbrella Academy student is carrying the mayor's daughter,covered in blood!"The reporter exclaims as Y/n is put in the ambulance.

"My baby!"(Y/m/n) exclaims as she almost passes out but the maids caught her.

"Call Mr.L/n's office!Somebody get some water!"Mr.Clark ordered as everyone runs around.

"Prepare the car"(Y/m/n) muttered as they say her down on one of the couch.

"Prepare the car!"Mr.Clark added

~|At the academy|~

"How is the mission?"Vanya asked as her siblings entered the academy but Five ignored her as he spatial jumped towards his room which he immediately locked the door and sat on his bed while staring at his hands.

Covered with her blood.

Hell even his uniform is covered in her blood and the picture of her pale face flashing on Five's mind makes him want to throw up as he felt overwhelmed at her thoughts that she's going to die.

In his arms.

"Is he okay?"Vanya asked and Allison shook her head as she looks down and walked towards her room and Luther followed.

"Its Y/n"Ben say as he walks away too

"Why what happened?"Vanya asked concerned

"She almost died,or maybe she's dead now.We don't know"Diego answered as he walks away

"Y/n she was shot two times and we don't know if she survived"Klaus explained as Vanya's eyes widened.
