~INTRODUCING~
LEIA GABRIELLE PIERCE
the Hogwarts princess
The one and only, Leia Pierce-Dumbledore, the daughter of Albus Dumbledore, the little princess of Hogwarts and the snake who was hiding behind a pretty face was starting school this year, but it wasn't like something big was changing for her.
She grew up in the castle with her father, who already taught her a few things about magic, so the only new thing she was going to experience was a dorm and having colleagues. She hated the fact that she had to move all her stuff into a smaller and less private room. But, just like Dumbledore told her, you gotta do it, just like everyone else.
Regardless of the other little things that bothered her, the real problem was the sorting ceremony. Even if she was raised with the wish to be a Gryffindor, somehow, she was still doubtful. She didn't know for sure what house she would end up in, and that scared her.
Her dad always reminded her that there was nothing wrong with the other houses, especially Slytherin, the one she dreaded the most. He would always tell her "You can't deny who you are", but that didn't make her feel good about herself, it just made her insecure and stressed, because she didn't want to be associated with the Slytherin type. Since she read the whole history of the Wizarding World, she could count on one hand the 'not that bad' Slytherins.
To be completely honest, she did have an obsession with the Gryffindor house, probably because she knew her dad was one, and so was her mother. The only things she knew about her were her name, Lana Pierce, and the fact that she was a Gryffindor. So, the need to be sorted in that house was probably just to feel close to her mom and to be able to say that she has something in common with her.
But everything turned upside down once school started and she was sorted into her least wanted house, Slytherin.

Before Leia's eyes was a huge blossomed tree, full of little pink flowers which were surrounded by forest green leaves. Next to it was a clear blue lake where beautiful water lilies were floating and almost covering the clean and settled water where the tree's reflection could be seen perfectly.
As she got closer to the tree, her eyes were filling with tears, but not sad ones. The kind of tears you get when you finally feel at peace and complete. Like when you find something you've been looking for your entire life.
The girl found herself looking down, and right beside the blossomed tree was a grave. Her mother's grave.
After all those years of wondering where her mom was buried, she finally got to see it. She was finally able to meet her.
Leia leaned next to the grave slowly, observing every inch of it like it was something special about it. It looked like a normal grave. But, for her, it was special. Right there was resting her beloved mother, whom she was dying to meet her whole life. And now she could.
There were so many things she wanted to tell her mom. Starting with 'Thank you'. She couldn't express her gratitude in words, so she didn't even try.
The next thing she would say to her would be 'I'm sorry'. She felt responsible for everything that woman had to go through because of her, but again, there was no use to say it, because words couldn't change the past, so she stayed quiet, still staring at the ground.
The last thing she would say to her if she were actually there would be 'I love you'. Even if she had never met her, all the good things she heard about her made Leia fall in love with her mom.
Some people would call it 'falling in love with the idea of someone', but she didn't care. All the things that woman sacrificed proved how much she loved her baby. So, that made her love Lana back. Because that kind of love can only be found in a mother, and that is what she wanted her whole life.
Once she gathered enough strength, Leia's voice broke the silence that was settled in the area.
"It's over, mom." she spoke softly, like she was waiting for a response, but nothing could be heard but silence.
"It's finally over..."
