FINN HUDSON had received his first slushie and now the glee club was worried. They were at the choir room waiting for Mr. Schuester, and in the meanwhile, Quinn and Amelia were cleaning Finn at the drums.
"This is a disaster. Our reputation as McKinley High's 'it' couple is in serious jeopardy..." Quinn said angry and worried.
"Seriously. You guys need to find a way to be cool again." Amelia added, but when she realized of their annoyed looks, she raised her hands, "Sorry, sorry."
Will entered the room focused on finding the solution that Emma had asked him, not noticing the temperature in the room. Amelia took a seat and was quickly followed by Santana and Mike.
"Okay, guys. We're a little behind for sectionals...thanks to our Sue Sylvester detour. But you guys seem to really enjoy doing mash-ups, right? And I'm gonna keep you guys fired up. Plus, there's an important lesson to be learned with mash-ups. Sometimes things are so different, they don't feel like they go together. But the big difference between them is what makes them great. Like...chocolate and bacon."
"Iugh. Who eats that?" Amelia mumbled. The few who heard that gave her disapproving looks.
"Or glee club and football." Finn added, Mr. Schue nodded in agreement.
"Exactly. But you've proven that it is a great combination. So, here is my personal favorite song. And your homework for the week is to find an unexpected mash-up to go with it." He handed them out some sheet music.
"Bust a move?" Kurt asked confused.
"Yeah, this song is old school." Mercedes said.
"All right. Um, Artie, try to follow along on the bass. Finn, take us through it." The teacher instructed them.
"Uh, I'm sorry Mr. Schuester. I got corn syrup in my eye." Finn replied as Quinn continued cleaning his face.
"Okay. Uh, Puck. How about it?"
"I don't really groove on Young Mc." Noah refused too.
"I am shocked at the lack of leading-man ambition in this room right now." Rachel said.
"It's okay, Rachel. I guess I'm gonna have to show these guys how it's done." Mr. Schuester shrugged off his jacket and pointed to the band. "Bust it."
Bust a move.
Sung by Will Schuester

LATER that day, Amelia was laying on her bed in Santana's arms. They weren't having much time together like this lately, and Amelia didn't know why. But now that she have the girl with her again, she was trying to enjoy it as much as she could.
"What do you think will happen with us now?" Santana suddenly asked, confusing the girl.
"W-what? I thought you didn't want to talk about feelings."
"And I don't..." Santana gave her an odd look before continuing. "I'm asking about the cheerios. Do you think Sue will do something with us now that she knows about Quinn? We knew it and we didn't tell her, Quinn obviously doesn't have much time left on the team."
"Oh, that...Uh, I guess that we are good for now. I mean, she already lost one, I don't think she wants to run out of stars right?" She tried to hide her disappointment. "Maybe we could be co-captains now!"
"Oh I hope so." Santana laughed. "I have some bitches in mind to put at the bottom of the pyramid."
Amelia rolled her eyes, but let out a soft giggle. After some silence, she decided to speak again.
"Tana, can I ask you a question?"
"Sure, babe."
"Are you back with Puckerman?"
"What?" She laughed, "No. Why would you think that?"
"I don't know. I just thought that since we haven't been doing this lately, you might have another person or something."
"I didn't told you? I'm dating Matt now. Well, sex it's not dating, but whatever. Sorry for leaving you so long. He's been keeping me pretty busy these days." She smirked.
"Iugh. No, you didn't told me. Why is that? I thought we were best friends."
"Do not overreact. I told you we aren't even dating."
"Fine." Amelia rolled her eyes, sitting up on the bed.
"Am I smeling jelousy over here?" Santana started to poke her stomach.
"No!" She smacked her hand, "I'm not jealous of Puckerman or Rutherford. I know I'm better than them." Amelia tried to act it cool.
"Of course you are Ames." Santana climbed onto the girl again, and delicately placed her lips against Amelia's. But the intensity of the kiss started to increase, and Amelia tried hard to ignore the butterflies on her stomach. What the hell is going on with me?

NEXT day at glee, everyone was talking and laughing with each other. Amelia noticed that Mateo wasn't as cheerful as always, so she made a sign to Mike and Brittany to jump on him. She knew that having to choose between football and glee club was a hard thing for him, so she was trying to distract him a little. The foursome were joking around until Mr. Schue came.
"So any idea for the mash-up? Anybody?" He looked at all of them. "Come on, guys! It's like you're daring me to start dancing." He joked, getting a quick 'no' from all the students. "I will."
"Por favor, no." Amelia pleaded.
"I've been working on something." Puck announce, surprising them.
"Oh, yeah?" Mr. Schue asked him.
"It's my personal tribute to a musical Jewish icon." He said directing his gaze at Rachel.
"Uh, fantastic. Let's hear it."
Sweet Caroline.
Sung by Puck.
It was pretty obvious that Noah was singing the song to Rachel. During the performance Amelia noticed Finn and Santana's faces, and although she didn't know the reason for those faces, she made sure to cheer the loudest for the guy just to piss them off. Of course they noticed and gave her bad looks for it.
"That's my good friend Noah!"

AMELIA was walking to her locker when she noticed Finn and Quinn in the middle of a hallway wearing glasses. They had told her that it was to look cool again, but she wasn't so sure that it would work. And that thought was proven when some football players surrounded them with slushies in hand.
"Oh, hey guys." Finn saluted them completely oblivious.
"You thirsty?" Azimio, one of the football players, asked him.
"Uh sure. Thanks."
Next thing they know, the football players had thrown the contents of their plastic cups at the Quarterback and the Co-head cheerleader. Amelia quickly rush to help them, not really caring if they could throw some at her too.
"You can't do this!" Finn yelled.
"Oh, you think that's bad? Just imagine what's gonna happen if you don't show up to practice on Thursday...and quit that little Glee club for good! Bros before hi-hos, dude. Don't forger that." With that, they all walked away from them.
"Pendejos...come on guys, let's get you cleaned up."

AMELIA AND MATEO had grown in a family that loved arts. Even if neither of them lived on it now, their parents had instilled in them all kinds of art in their lives since they were little. As long as they could do it, Marissa and David were more than happy to pay for whatever class one of their three children wanted. Isabella, the older one, since little loved acting and now she was pursuing her dream to be an actress at the UCLA. Amelia and Mateo on the other hand, lived for dancing. If one of them were overwhelmed by something, it would be dancing what help them get through it. That's why she knew where to find her brother.
When Amelia entered the dance studio Mateo was in the middle of a routine. To not interrupt him, she decided to stay at the door. He didn't noticed her until he hit the last pose.
"Hey, what are you doing here?"
"I just wanted to know how you were. I saw you kinda upset all day, it's because of the football thing?" She asked as she walked to him.
"Yeah, I...I don't know what to do. I actually enjoy being in the team, but I enjoy being in glee club too." He was clearly confused.
"Yeah but there is one that makes you happier, and you know which one is. Even I know."
"But I had made it so far with not being bullied or slushied, I'm not sure if I want to change that. You know in this school is all about stick the to status quo." They both were sitting at the the floor by then.
"Listen, Chad, " Teo rolled his eyes at that name, but he was expecting it. "you may think it's weird coming from me...but you shouldn't let others stop you from doing what you like. Especially people who don't even know you. I do know you, and I know you are not one of those who follow the tide. Don't start doing it now that you've found something that helps you be yourself."
"Who are you and what did you do with my sister obsessed with popularity?" Mateo teased her.
"Why you always have to ruin it?" Amelia groaned. He laugh for a moment and then hugged his big sister.
"Thanks Ames. It's good to know that I have your support." He sweetly smiled at her.
"Okay. So much love for today. Get your ass to the car now. There's a new episode of Grey's Anatomy tonight, and I need to finish a chemistry work before."
"Oh, right. The merger is about to happen right?" The siblings left the room talking about the tv series, and agreed to tell Finn to go as well. The two boys would never admit it, but they actually enjoyed watching the show with Amelia. Except for the deaths. They hated crying over a fictional character.

3:30 had hit the clock and no football player walked through the door of the choir room. The rest of the glee members lowered their heads in disappointment.
"I guess they're not coming. I'm really sorry guys." Mr. Schuester said with a sad tone, after all the hard work, they might've lose five members at once.
"I can't believe this. I thought they were our friends. How could they abandon us?"
Just as Mercedes ended the sentence, footsteps could be heard approaching. When they looked at the door again, Mike and Matt were the ones that entered. Everyone laughed happy that at least two of the guys chose Glee, Santana and Brittany being the firsts on hugging them. Amelia tried to smiled at the fact that one of her best friends was there, but she was thinking about her brother. Yesterday he seemed decided for glee.
The next one to walk in was Puckerman. The whole room gasped, shocked that the boy didn't choose the football team. Rachel, who apparently was Noah's new girlfriend , approached him to ask if he was sure, and then they hugged.
"I can't believe it." Amelia's frown increased, Mike hugged her from behind trying to comfort her, and then she heard more steps coming.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry I was at the bathroom." It was Mateo. They all felt relieved, happy not to lose him as a friend.
"You had to make an entrance huh." Amelia hugged him, "You scared me."
"Well some genius told me to do what makes me happier so, here I am." Mateo smiled brightly, being received by the others with hugs.
"Where's Finn?" Artie asked, and at that moment the glee club realized that Finn Hudson decided his popularity was more important than them.
•••••
AMELIA hadn't seen her best friend that day and when she finally found him, she was very surprised of what he was about to do.
"Finn, what are you doing?" She asked, he was in front of Kurt and Rachel with a slushie in hand.
"I really don't want to, honestly. I know how picky you are about what products you use on your face." Finn said to Kurt.
"But you've been getting so much pressure from the gorillas on the football team. I guess they didn't appreciate me resigning from the team and choosing glee." Kurt said, his gaze on the cup.
"Probably would have went over better if you didn't announce it in the showers."
"You are not gonna slushee on my man Kurt." Mercedes said, approaching Finn from behind with Tina and Artie.
"Why wouldn't he? He's made his choice. He doesn't care about us losers anymore." Rachel said, angry at the boy in front of her.
"Screw them, Finn, you don't want to do this." Amelia tried to reason with him.
"No, that's not true." He said to Rachel, and then direct his eyes to the latina, "If I don't do it the guys on the team are gonna kick the crap out of me." He explained, and Amelia saw the desperation on his eyes. Knowing how much the popularity meant to him, she took the cup out of his hands, confusing them all.
"Wow, what are you doing?" He asked worried.
"How much it would meant for them if you slushied the co-head cheerleader instead of a loser glee kid, huh?" And with that, she throws the slushie in her own face, not giving him time to procesed her words. The others just jump in surprise. This wasn't Finn, not anymore, and she needed him to see it.
"Now go and ask yourself if any of your 'friends' on the football team would have done that for you. Because even Kurt would've done it." Finn walked away, feeling worse than at the beginning. Amelia wiped the slushie off her face and shivered. "God I forgot how cold this were."
Still surprised, the girls take Amelia to the bathroom to clean her up. She started to regret her decision when she realized how many people had seen the situation, and felt afraid that someone take this a sign to do it everyday from now on. Once in the bathroom, she looked at the three girls helping her and saw that they didn't know what to say.
"I'm just gonna say this once, so you better appreciate it. I'm sorry for all those times when I slushied you." Tina, Mercedes and Rachel just give her small smiles, and continued to clean her hair.
Ever since Amelia joined glee club, she gradually began to be more like the freshman year Amelia. The ones who knew her at that time could see it.
••••
QUINN was hearing her best friend talk about the events of that day, surprised about what the girl had done, when Sue Sylvester stopped in front of them.
"Q. Take off those sunglasses. I wanna look in your eyes when I give you this piece of business. You're off the Cheerios. I can't have a pregnant girl on my squad. You're a disgrace." She said bluntly, shocking both girls. "A. You are the Captain of the team now...You better not fail me too."
As the Coach walked away, Quinn began to sob seeking comfort in her friend's arms. Amelia hugged her tightly, as she had been doing since she knew about the pregnancy. She couldn't help but feel awful for making plans for when Quinn was kicked off the team with Santana earlier that week.
•••••
BY THE end of the week, Finn returned to Glee club for good, and with slushies for everyone. He had his arms around Amelia, still trying to recompense her for what she did despite she had told him she wasn't mad anymore.
All he had to do was show up at her house with a box of chocolates and a bunch of sappy movies to watch.
"So, what do you think about my welcome back gift to the club, huh, guys?"
"Thanks for the slushees Finn. They are delicious." Rachel smiled at him.
"And loaded with empty calories. You know why they call them slushees? Because your butt looks like one if you have too many of them." Kurt said.
After scrunching her nose in disgust, Amelia turned to Finn, "I still think you owe me more chocolates you know? Since someone ate half of them." Mateo whistled looking away.
"I'd like to propose a toast. To Mr. Schue. You were right about glee club and football bein' a killer combination." Finn said after the laughs stopped, and everyone cheered for the teacher.
"Mr. Schue, I am sorry to report that we've all been remiss about completing our assignment this week." Artie said.
"Yeah, none of us could find a good groove for 'Bust a Move'." Mercedes added.
"And I personally feel like a failure." Artie continued.
"Well, that's okay guys. Because I feel like the lesson landed. And that's what's important. And we are glad to have you back, Finn." Mr. Schuester said with a grin on his face, that change after seeing his student in the piano bench. "You okay, Quinn?"
"Do I look okay?" She looked up from her drink. "I'm devastated. Now that I'm off the cheerios, I'll start every day with a slushie facial." Amelia and Brittany quickly hugged their friend.
"That's okay if it happens, Quinn, because there are thirteen of your friends right here who are gonna be more than happy to help clean you off." Mr. Schue assured her, the others making sounds of agreement. He took a sip from the drink, making a face right after.
"Mmm, brain freeze. I can't imagine getting hut in the kisser with one of these."
The face of the students turned into mischievous smiles, all thinking the same thing.
"You've never been hit by a slushee before, Mr. Schue?" Artie asked as they all slowly approached him.
"All right, guys. We're a team. Bring it on. Gimme your best shot." Will said once he realized what he had get himself on.
"One. Two. Three!" Rachel counted, and soon Mr. Schuester was covered by fourteen slushies.
"All right. From the top."
