AFTER the interaction in the car wash, things seemed to be a little calmer between Amelia and Kurt, although they both knew they still had a pending talk. That's why he had asked her and Brittany for help with a "Single ladies" project he was making, and now the three of them were in his basement doing the choreography. In the middle of the dance, Burt Hummel -his father- entered in the room with a confused look on his face.
"Dad! You're home early." Kurt said once he noticed him.
"Deadliest Catch is on. Amelia! Good to see you again, it's been a long time. We really miss having you around here." The man said giving the girl a strong hug, which she gladly returned.
"I've missed you being here too Burt." She replied with guilty eating her inside, knowing that it was all because of her.
"What are you wearing?" Burt asked his son after breaking away from the latina.
"It's an unitard. Guys wear them to, uh, work out nowadays. Do sports. They wick sweat from the body." He answered, the three teenagers were tense hoping Burt would believe it.
"Like the football guys, they're jock chic." Amelia added, not really realizing what that could lead to.
"Totally. Kurt's on the football team now. He's the kicker. That's the smallest guy on the field, right?" Brittany said, Amelia looking at her between surprised that she actually knew something about football and worried about what she had just put Kurt into.
"Yeah. Britt and Amy were just helping me with some conditioning work." Kurt continued the lie.
"Hmm. Really. You know, I played in JC before I busted up my knee, popping wheelies on my third bike." Burt said.
"Cool. I guess we'll have something to talk about, then." Kurt chukled.
"So are you his girlfriend?" Burt asked looking at Brittany.
"But I'm not ready to be exclusive just yet." Kurt replied smiling as he placed his hand on Britt's back, trying to make it credible.
"Alright, just keep the music down. I can't hear myself thinking up there." The adult started to walk upstairs, but stopped to look at his son one last time. "And hey, Kurt. Be sure to get me a ticket to your first game."
Kurt nodded trying to smile, and once Burt was out of sight he glared at Brittany.
"Don't get mad at her, she just wanted to help." Amelia quickly defended her friend, "But we need to find a way to get you in the team." She added, making Kurt groan knowing he was screwed.

NEW day at school, new glee club meeting.
Today Mr. Schue was handing everyone the sheet music of a song from "West Side Story", and everything was fine until Rachel, as usual, complained about something.
"Excuse me, this isn't the right key." She said
"No. It's actually the right key." The teacher assured her.
"No, no, this is the alto part."
"Yep, Tina is doing the solo." He gave the sheet music to the girl, who looked surprised at the rest of the room.
"I'm sorry, there must be some sort of mix up. I thought I made it very clear that anything from 'West Side Story' goes to me. Maria is my part! Natalie Wood was a jew, you know." I've had a very deep, personal connection to this role since the age of one." Rachel explained.
"Well, I'm trying to shake things up a bit. Get is out of our boxes."
"You're trying to punish me."
"I think you're being irrational."
"I think you're being unfair!" The brunette continued with her rant, causing every person in the room rolled their eyes.
"I think you're being unfair to Tina, who might have been happy about getting her first solo." Will said, trying to remain patient with the sophomore.
"Tina knows how much I respect her and I think she would agree with me that she's not ready for such an iconic role as Maria." Everyone looked at her annoyed, and Amelia let out an "I want to slap her" in a hushed tone, causing her brother to put a hand on her shoulder.
"Wait... I'm a jet?" Mercedes interrupted out of nowhere, but before anyone could said another thing, Rachel dramatically stormed out of the room.
"The more time she storms out of rehearsal, the less impact it has." Artie said what they all were thinking.
"Congratulations, Tina" Mr. Schue said and as some of the kids started to congratulate the girl, he turns to the piano muttering "This is going well."
Amelia gave Tina a quick smile, before grabbing Kurt's arm to leadi him in Finn's direction, it was time to put their plan in motion.
"Finn? I need to ask you something." Kurt started.
"Um, thanks, but I already have a date for the prom. But I'm flattered! I know how important dances are to teen gays." Finn replied a little scared of what the boy wanted to ask him.
"I'm not gay" Kurt replied uncomfortable, "I just... I needed a favor." With Amelia giving him her best puppy eyes, they managed to get Finn's help.

AMELIA was doing her makeup in front of the mirror in one of the school bathrooms, laughing at the memory of what happened in the football field, when a girl entered the room. Noticing that the crying blonde was Quinn, she put everything she was doing aside to check on her friend.
"Wow, Q! What's wrong?" Amelia asked her in a worried tone after locking the door.
"I'm pregnant." Was all the blonde could said before falling in her arms.
They stood there for a few minutes, Amelia hugging her tight as Quinn tried to control her sobs. "Please don't tell anyone, A." She whispered, a little more calm.
"No, no, of course not. Have you told Finn?" Amelia asked, earning a shook of the head from the other girl.
"Not yet, I'm still procesing it... I don't know what I'm gonna do! I can't tell my parents Ames, if they find out they'll freak out. And Finn? God he can't tell the right from the left, how am I going to raise a child with him?" The tears over took her once more and Amelia quickly embraced her again.
"Hey, hey, hey. Everything is gonna be fine okay? Look, I'm here for you. We are gonna figure this out." She had no idea how they would do it, but she would make sure to help her best friends as much as she could.

At the end of the day, Amelia was heading to her car when she saw Finn waiting for her there. His pale face make her realized that Quinn had already told him the news, so she quick her pace and once she was in front of him, she took him in her arms with force. Without saying anything else, she led him to the car and started driving home, buying some junk food along the way. They spent the night watching their favorite movies, and although Amelia said nothing on the subject, Finn knew he could count on her. And he was never more grateful to have her in his life.

THE week had passed and after all the dancing lessons that the football team had to take with Mr. Schue and Kurt, Friday had finally arrived, and it was time for the big football game. The Cheerios! where lined on the side of the field, cheering as they awaited for the McKinley High Titans entrance.
Once both teams were in position, the referee blew his whistle to officially start the game.
The local team was losing, which made the crowd feel disappointed and Coach Tanaka frustrated with them. With only a few seconds left in the game and the teams in formation, Finn calls for a time out to change the play. While he was talking with Puck, a boy from the other team is heard yell, "Yo, left tackle! Your momma's so fat, her cereal comes with its own lifeguard. Like Baywatch!" It was the same guy who has been harassing the Titans all night.
"Hey, ankle grabber. I had sex with your mother. No, seriously. I cleaned your pool, and then I had sex with her in your bed. Nice Star Wars sheets." Puckerman replied. And despite her disgust and Santana's face, Amelia couldn't help but laugh out loud at the look on the boy's face.
"Hut, one, two, three. Let's hit it." Finn called, then 'Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)' starts playing over the intercom. The whole football team starts dancing, shocking the crowd and their opponents.
"Hike!" Once Finn had the ball he passed it to Puck, who made it all the way to the end zone. As everyone cheered that Noah had made the touchdown, it was time for Kurt to enter. 'Single Ladies' starts playing again, and after a little dance, Kurt kicked the ball to make the field goal.
The McKinley High Titans won the game.
••
Once the game was over, everyone was out celebrating the victory, except for Amelia. She knew that Kurt wouldn't go nowhere than his home, so she was looking for him in the hallways of the school. A few minutes later she found him in the boys locker room, finishing tying his shoes.
"That was awesome, you know." She said.
"Thanks." Kurt replied, not looking up.
"I mean, you managed to make the guys dance Beyonce, that's something that I never imagined could be possible." She laughed a little.
"Are you ever gonna tell me why you're being so friendly with me again?" Kurt abruptly asked.
"I just...I miss you Kurt." She said seconds later, making the boy laugh in disbelief. "No, seriously! I really, really miss you and I've been trying to ignore it, but being in glee club made it almost impossible. I know it was wrong of me to stop talking to you so suddenly, and that a simple apology wont amend it and that you probably hate me now, but I want you to give me another chance to be friends." Amelia said as sincere as she could, her eyes a little glosy. "Please?"
Kurt stayed silent for a few minutes. He missed the girl too, but she really hurt him when she changed him for the popular kids. "I needed you but you weren't there. You left me all by myself and I don't know if I could trust you again."
"Okay, I understand. I just wanted you to know how sorry I am, and that I hope you can forgive me one day." She gave him a sad smile and started to walk to the door, but stop in the middle of the way. "Oh, and one last thing. I know you want to make your dad proud, but that doesn't mean you deserve to live a lie...I know it must be hard, but you should tell him the truth one day, when you feel ready. I'm sure that he loves you enough to accept you for who you truly are. In the meantime, try not to do things that will only make him happy." And with that she left the room, leaving behind a boy that has been questioning his situation a lot lately.

ON Monday, Will Schuester entered the choir room with a big grin on his face, Finn and other three boys behind him.
"Hey guys! Let's give a big glee welcome to our three new members, fresh off their big win on Friday night: Noah Puckerman, Matt Rutherford and Mike Chang.Regionals here we come." He introduced them, as the other members looked impressed that three football players joined the club. The Romero siblings looked at Puckerman with teasing smiles on their faces, since he was always making fun of them for joining glee, making the boy just roll his eyes.
"Let's start today with "Tonight" from West Side Story. Tina, show us what you got." After hearing that Mr. Schue didn't gave her the solo, Rachel dramatically left the room. Again.
