If I Ask You to Stay by TXsmart
BOOK COVER : 5/5
The cover is very cool. I love the multiple pictures making up one larger picture...that makes it very eye-catching. The font is visible and attractive.
BOOK TITLE : 5/5
Definitely caught my attention; I wanted to know more about what it meant. It is relevant to the plot, as the actual line is used in the book.
BLURB/DESCRIPTION : 9.5/10
I'd prefer to see the quotes from the book before the rankings. That is what caught my attention and made me interested in the book, rather than the rankings. A space/line between the quotes and the rankings would make it more aesthetically pleasing. It does not give any spoilers.
FIRST IMPRESSION : 10/10
From the first few lines of the Prologue, I was drawn in. A very interesting way to start, and the way it was written made me feel the character's devastation, even though I wasn't at all acquainted with the character yet. I definitely wanted to learn more.
PLOT : 20/20
The plot was interesting, and definitely kept me wanting to read to learn more. There are no plot holes or anything else that makes it unappealing in that regard. The book is a good, easy read that keeps things compelling the whole way through. I liked it enough that I want to eventually read the sequel.
CHARACTERS : 10/10
I enjoyed Bella's character. She was sweet and kept her morals and interests important to her throughout. She frustrated me some, but I believe she was written that way to elicit those types of feelings. She wasn't perfect, like a lot of OCs or Y/Ns tend to be, and that's a good thing. I loved Jin. He went through a very meaningful and important arc that made his character more relatable and honest at the end. Jimin had an important arc, as well, though I think Jin's was greater. I loved Namjoon! Cindy was hilarious. The other BTS members, though not always very present, were great when they were.
STYLE OF WRITING : 10/10
The whole book, from plot to grammar to sentence structure was great. Everything made sense, I was never left questioning what the author intended. As noted above, the characters were great, and their dialogue was understandable and interesting.
PACE : 9/10
Everything was laid out well. I think there could have been a bit more resolution after the kidnapping. It felt a bit rushed at the very end. Everything else, though, was done very well.
PUNCTUATION/GRAMMAR : 10/10
The book is damn near perfect in this regard. No glaringly obvious mistakes in grammar, punctuation or sentence structure. It was written extremely well.
YOUR IMPRESSION : 10/10
The story was interesting and original. The characters were fun to read, and the plot was laid out very well. Again, I loved Jin's character arc. He grew a lot, and was much more mature at the end. It was great to see such a damaged character come through and be better for it in the end. The story left an impact for sure because I definitely want to eventually read the sequel. This book was exceptionally well written. Bravo, author.

Eternally Unheard? by bangtanrewinds
BOOK COVER : 5/5
The cover is beautiful. A great illustration of Jin. And the subtleties of the illustration of him give way to a greater understanding once you've finished the story (as mentioned in the Author's Note). The picture is clear and the font is visible and aesthetically pleasing.
BOOK TITLE : 5/5
It is very much relevant to the story as the quote is mentioned multiple times and is part of one of the main focuses of the plot: the letters. It definitely drew me in and is unique because it uses punctuation, which you rarely see in a title.
BLURB/DESCRIPTION : 9/10
I could tell right away, just from the description, that this was going to be a heart-wrenching story. So, of course I was interested and wanted to learn as to why it was going to be so heart-rending. The description is a little busy, with the other notes and fonts, but the actual quotes and information is beautiful and intriguing.
FIRST IMPRESSION : 9/10
I was a bit confused by the first paragraph, but not enough to be turned off. I didn't know who was speaking at first, but I believe the author intended it to be that way, and it was not necessarily a bad thing. It did not make me want to stop reading or give up on the story in general. The first thing that really hit/captured me was the language used; it's very "flowery" (which is not a bad thing).
PLOT : 20/20
The plot was very original, and tragic. But, beautifully written and thus, kept me interested and intrigued. No plot holes, nothing off topic or not related to the overall theme. Everything was laid out and understandable. A fairly easy read, and enjoyable.
CHARACTERS : 10/10
Jin was interesting, mostly because of how poetic he was. But also, because of how in love he was. He was head over heels, which showed great dedication of his character. Though we didn't see much of actual Yuha until toward the end, we knew much about her from Jin's perspective. Once we got to know her as much as we could, she lived up to the way Jin portrayed her. Yuha had an important arc before we even met her, thanks to Jin telling us about how brave and self-confident she became before he had to leave her.
STYLE OF WRITING : 10/10
Wow, the style of writing was just beautiful. As mentioned earlier, very flowery, but in a great way. It was very poetic. I could see some people maybe not appreciating that, but they'd be fools. It was very lovely. Everything was understandable and made sense, and the sentence structure was generally chef's kiss.
PACE : 10/10
No issues with pace. Everything was laid out properly, and everything unfolded in a timely manner.
PUNCTUATION/GRAMMAR : 9/10
There were some mistakes. Sentence structure was generally great. There were just a few grammar and punctuation mistakes, but nothing that made things confusing or caused any misunderstanding.
YOUR IMPRESSION : 10/10
This was a beautiful yet tragic story. I've never read anything like it, and don't expect to anytime soon. It definitely left an impact; I've been thinking about it a lot since I read it, and it made me cry.

7 Wishes by Shy-Nim
BOOK COVER : 4.5/5
This is a really beautiful cover. I like it a lot. It's clear and the font is visible and attractive. Jin looks very sweet, which reflects his character in the story. The author's name is not on the cover, however. You should add it, author! Your name deserves to be there!
BOOK TITLE : 5/5
This is a perfect title. It's perfectly representative of the story, and catches attention well. It made me want to learn more about what it meant.
BLURB/DESCRIPTION : 10/10
The description is also a perfect representation of the story. It describes it well without giving too much away as to the ending. It's a great length and reveals just enough. It caught my attention for sure.
FIRST IMPRESSION : 10/10
The first chapter drew me in, especially the end when Y/N tells of her hopes for the future. It is definitely interesting enough to want to keep reading.
PLOT : 20/20
The plot is original, and I've never come across another like it. It's tragic, but plays out very well with Jin's persistence in wanting to help Y/N. He was so sweet in all he did for her. It was inevitable that they'd fall in love, and when they did, that made it that much sweeter, but also tragic. I'm a fan of happy endings (though not opposed to sad ones), but the tragic end made it that much more realistic. If she'd lived and they'd lived happily ever after, it feels like it would be a cop out. I'm glad it was a sad ending in that way. It didn't follow any tropes. I have a theory that maybe Y/N's last wish was actually fulfilled. I wondered if it may have been having her first kiss. I want to read the sequel to find out! And another way of knowing this was a great story is the fact that I want to read the sequel.
CHARACTERS : 10/10
I loved both of the main characters. Y/N was very humble and sweet, and very appreciative of all Jin was doing for her. Jin was so sweet in his desire to help, and his way of fulfilling her wishes. They were both great, and their personalities were relatable.
STYLE OF WRITING : 9/10
The style was very pretty. Some flowery language (which is not a bad thing), yet easy to read and understand. The dialogues between the characters were sometimes a bit shaky due to some grammar mistakes, but again, generally easy to understand.
PACE : 10/10
I would have liked to have seen a bit more of Jin fulfilling the wishes, but I also have a feeling that the author's intention was to have this be more of a short story, which is why some of the wishes were left out. Either way, the pace was pretty good. Everything was laid out well, and moved smoothly.
PUNCTUATION/GRAMMAR : 7/10
The sentence structures were generally laid out well, but there were many grammar and some spelling mistakes. The punctuation was generally good, as well, but there were some mistakes with commas and such. It could definitely use some editing.
YOUR IMPRESSION : 9/10
This was such a sweet story. Tragic, in the end, but a good, sweet ride that I enjoyed. It left an impact, especially the end, and I'm excited to read the sequel to find out more from Y/N's perspective.
My suggestions are to work on some editing, and again, for the author to put their name on the cover. This is a story to be proud of!

Him by Pink_Mania_Jin
BOOK COVER : 5/5
The cover is clear and the fonts are visible. It relates to the book as it's a picture of one of the main characters.
BOOK TITLE : 5/5
The title is perfect for the plot, as it revolves around "him" as well as a person pining for "him". It caught my attention as I wanted to know who exactly the story was about and why "him" was so special. (Besides being Tae, of course!)
BLURB/DESCRIPTION : 9/10
The description is short, but that's not necessarily a bad thing, as it's using quotes. The third set of quotes, however, doesn't appear in the story and that confused me a bit after reading it. But the description was enough for me to want to read more, and to know the relevance and point of view of the quotes.
FIRST IMPRESSION : 10/10
Honestly, my first impression was, "Gosh, Taehyung is mean!" Haha! It definitely interested me enough to want to find out where the story would go from the first chapter.
PLOT : 20/20
It's a bit of a tragic story. I enjoy happy endings (but don't always dislike sad ones), but sad endings are often more relatable, especially when it comes to unrequited love. What I found so interesting about this story is that in the end, that unrequited love shifted from her to him. That was unexpected and made this story more unique. The different fonts made this an easily understandable read.
CHARACTERS : 10/10
With the story being so short and told only through quotes, it was impressive to see that both characters had good arcs. That Taehyung realized how rude and dismissive he'd been, made him learn he'd been wrong and that was satisfying. I liked that Y/N, even though she still had feelings for Taehyung in the end, decided not to pursue anything with him to guard her heart. And that was an even greater and well-deserved gut punch to him.
STYLE OF WRITING : 10/10
The style - to use only quotes - was very interesting, and not one I've seen before. It was laid out well in that a story was told and understood even though there was no narration or actual dialogue between the characters. Very unique and well done.
PACE : 10/10
The pacing was fast, but needed for such a short story. I did not feel it took away from the story the author was trying to tell.
PUNCTUATION/GRAMMAR : 8/10
Grammar, spelling and sentence structure were good. There was not much punctuation used, but when it was, it was used correctly.
YOUR IMPRESSION : 9/10
Again, for not having any narration or external dialogue, this story was told and unfolded really well. I was pleasantly surprised by the growth of both characters, and their complete arcs despite it being such a short and unusually written story. I think the sad ending was necessary here, for the characters' growth, and it was satisfying despite being a bit sad. It made the story more relatable and realistic.

Heather by coffeexbts
BOOK COVER : 4.5/5
The cover is very cute. It's clear, and the title is visible. The author's name is very light colored, so it is a bit hard to see. It showcases how the main character sees Taehyung: cute, bubbly, kinda quirky.
BOOK TITLE : 4/5
It definitely caught my attention. A woman's name used for a book about focusing on a male character is interesting and made me want to know more. It does relate to some of the plot. We actually don't see much of Heather, however. She's definitely not the main focus of the plot. But the title is very unique.
BLURB/DESCRIPTION : 10/10
The description is very short, but to the point and describes exactly what the main plot points are. It made me curious enough to want to continue reading.
FIRST IMPRESSION : 9/10
I liked the quotes on the Playlist chapter, but what really drew me in was the first quote on the Trailer chapter. The rest of the Trailer was also very relatable and made me want to read more.
PLOT : 19/20
The plot is definitely original. There are no plot holes. Again, Heather is not mentioned often, but she is important in some parts. She does not hinder the main point of the story, however, which is unrequited love, regardless of another love interest. The book flows well, and is generally understandable. It's very relatable, but the poetry angle makes it more unique.
CHARACTERS : 10/10
The main character was relatable in that very many people often experience some sort of unrequited love. I could feel the character's heartache. Su-ji was interesting and often a voice of reason for the main character. I was pleased at the way Taehyung was portrayed. He is very much admired by the main character for lots of reasons, but he is not made to be God-like. He is human, and the main character does view him that way.
STYLE OF WRITING : 8/10
The poetry in the book was beautiful. Definitely one of my favorite parts. The POV of the chapters changed sometimes without warning, from first to second person, and that was a bit confusing. Overall, however, the book was written well, and the majority of it made sense.
PACE : 9/10
Everything laid out well. The fact that the main character suddenly had to move was a bit abrupt, but everything else flowed well.
PUNCTUATION/GRAMMAR : 9/10
There were some mistakes, but I was surprised at how few considering English is not the author's first language. There were no big mistakes that made anything difficult to understand.
YOUR IMPRESSION : 9/10
Again, the poetry was pretty phenomenal. I loved it. And it very much represented the way the main character stated how she felt. The story left an impact due to the way it ended. It did not follow a trope that led to the two main characters getting together in the end. It very much was what the author promised: a one sided love story. And while that's a bit tragic, it's very relatable. It made me tear up. The only thing I would encourage the author to do is decide if the main character is an unnamed OC, or if she is a Y/N. Whichever she is, just fix the POV in the chapters where it changes.
