"Hey nerd is here!" a boy yelled in the hallways as he had tripped a girl, Min Y/n, the school's nerd.

Y/n just looked down, controlling her tears, not wanting to feel weak.

"Aww what are you going to do now? Cry like a little baby?" he mocked her as she immediately got up and ran away from the hallways as the students laughed at her.

She ran to the school's roof and leaned against a wall, going down slowly til she reached the floor. She bawled her eyes out. She was hurt for almost 3 years and he made things worse.

"Why does he do this me.!?!?" she screamed out but the wind replied to her.

Jeon Jungkook, the school's playboy, charming but her bully. Many girls fell for his charms and looks. His personality was something people couldn't understand. She can't lie but he was hot but her bully.

She sighed and looked at her watch, 10am. She had History now which means she would see Jungkook. They both had the same lessons so she couldn't escape him. She got up and went to the bathroom to wash her face and went to her class.

She reached and went to her desk, with means words written on it. She sat on the left side of the classroom near the window. The teacher came in and started discussing the lesson.

1 hour later...

It was 11am and it was their 45 minutes break. Jungkook and his friends got up and purposely hit her on their way out since they sat at the back of the classroom. She sighed and got up and went to the cafeteria to see her friend, Lisa.

Lisa was the only person which cared for her other than her classmates. Y/n did have many friends but once Jungkook came he didn't allow anyone to be near her. Students just listened to him like he was the principal or king.

Lisa and Y/n went to their locker but then Y/n tripped making her fall. She and Lisa looked to see Tzuyu, Jungkook's girlfriend, with her minions.

"What do you want Tzuyu?" Lisa asked as she helped me get up.

"Nothing from you of course. I just like to see this peasant being weak in front of everyone." she said as the students burst into laughter.

Y/n kept her head down knowing she was weak. She was a quiet person after she was abandoned at a young age. She couldn't stand up for herself so she was really glad she had a savage friend like Lisa.

"C-Can you leave us alone please?" Y/n asked Tzuyu in a low voice.

"Why should I slut?" she asked as Tzuyu faced her.

Sana and Mina, who were Tzuyu's minions, held Lisa as Tzuyu beat her up in the corridors. The students around them jus watched as the ooed from the sight not knowing there was someone watching them.

"Are you gonna stop her?" Namjoon asked the younger who was looking at you getting beaten up to death.

"Just go." he replied as his friends left the hallway.

He looked back thinking whether he should stop what Tzuyu was doing as he sighed and left.

After Tzuyu beating Y/n and Lisa resisting and asking her to stop, Tzuyu did. Y/n was now close to death. Blood dripping from her mouth now.

"Let's go girls." Tzuyu said as Mina and Sana left Lisa and the three went to their class.

"Y/n. Y/n!" Lisa called her name as Y/n just opened her eyes at her, tired.

"S-Sleepy..." was the words Y/n muttered before passing out in her friend's arms.

"Are you her family member of friend?" the doctor asked Lisa.

"Yes I am. How is she?" she asked in worry.

"I have some bad news. She was stage 4 lung cancer. We can't cure it since it has spread throughout her body. She only has a few weeks left to live. You can see her now." she said as Lisa nodded.

She entered your cabin and saw you sleeping peacefully with a bandage covering your abdomen. Lisa caressed your forehead as she was now crying. Y/n was a quiet person and she defended you no matter what.

"Y/n-ah... please wake up..." she said sobbing and didn't know she slept beside her.

3 weeks had passed and only Lisa and Y/n know about her having cancer. Jungkook, Tzuyu and her friends would still bully her and Lisa would always try to protect her from getting more hurt.

It was now their Current Affairs class which was like a discussion about the world. Y/n was alone here with Jungkook and his friends as he threw paper balls at her.

"Well class the semester will end in less than a week and you guys would have to choose the stream and job you would want to apply so share your thoughts." he said.

"I want to be a veterinarian!" one student said.

"Being a pilot is amazing for me." another said.

"Artist for me." another one said.

"That's good to know. Y/n what about you? You have been staring at the window since the class started." she said sternly as Y/n looked at her.

"I want to live." Y/n said softly

"What?" she asked.

"I want to live!" she said in a loud voice.

"Haha dude everyone wants to live! Stupid." Jungkook said as Y/n faced him with teary eyes.

She then did something unexpected. She got up from her seat and went towards him, slapping him hard across the face. The class and teacher was shocked.

"What the hell was that for!?" he asked facing her.

"What do you want to become hmm? An assh*le? Stripper? CEO like your dad?" she bombarded him with questions.

"Third one you said." he replied.

"Then how would you feel to lose it because of something that will kill you?" she asked him as he looked at her confused.

She took her bag and ran out of the classroom as the teacher tried to stop her.

"Jungkook go and get her." Jimin whispered to Jungkook as he nodded and ran after her.

He ran around the entire school and was about to give up. He realized he didn't go to the school's garden yet. He ran there and saw her. Her head down, arms wrapping around her legs, sobbing.

Jungkook gulped and approached her. "Hey." he called out as she brought her head up.

"What do you want?" she asked.

"What did you mean when you said something that would kill you?" he asked as he sat beside her.

She moved away from him slightly.

"If I tell you, will you tell anyone?"

"No. Promise."

"I have stage 4 cancer."

Jungkook looked at her with wide eyes as she just looked at the ground blankly.

"W-What... w-when" he stuttered.

"3 weeks ago. When I went to the hospital."

"Y-Y/n-ah I'm so sor-" he got cut off by her.

"I don't need your sorry now Jungkook. I only ask one thing from you." she said as he was in front of her.

"What is it?"

"Don't bully me. I want to leave in peace."

His head was down as he was sobbing. Y/n heard it and cupped his cheeks slowly and brought it up. She was shocked to see tears in his eyes.

"Why are you crying.?" she asked with concern in her voice.

"Y/n-ah... I don't know how to tell you this but I like y- no. I love you." he said holding her hands which were on his face.

She just froze as she didn't know what to think of.

"S-Since when.?"

"When you f-first joined. I loved at you at first sight a-and you wouldn't pay attention to me. T-That's why I did all these things to you. I'm so so so sorry Y-" he got cut off by someone's lips on his.

It was Y/n's as he kissed her passionately. She pulled away and smiled softly. "I won't forgive you yet but keep my promise hmm?" she said as he nodded.

"Y/n-ah, be my girlfriend."

She looked at him with mouth gape open. "W-What. You have Tzuyu."

"She says that to everyone. I only loved you." he said as they both were now standing.

"Sure. I'll be your girlfriend Jungkook." she said as she walked away.

Jungkook was watching her figure go away as he cried on his own. He only has a week to spend with the love of his life and he wanted to make it memorable. He wiped away his tears and went back into the school building.

"Well well well hello nerdy~" Tzuyu called Y/n as she was about to leave the school.

"I heard you ditched school. What a whore. Which guy did you s*x with?" she asked as she looked down.

Tzuyu was about to slap Y/n when a hand stopped her. She looked at the owner and saw it was Jungkook.

"O-Oppa what are you doing?" she asked.

"You don't need to call me oppa from now. I'm Jungkook to you. And I was never your boyfriend." he said in a cold tone as he harshly let go of her hand.

"Let's go baby." Jungkook said as he wrapped his arm around Y/n's waist and left the school, the students around them shocked.

"What was that for?" Y/n asked him.

"I couldn't protect you from her for almost 3 years so I want to do most I can for a week." he said as she blushed softly.

"Sure." she replied as they both walked back home.

It was Friday meaning Y/n had only a few days left to live. Lisa knew about Y/n's relationship but she didn't want to ruin it since Jungkook did take care of her properly.

"Jungkook-ah where are we?" Y/n asked as he leaded her to their surprise destination as she was blindfolded.

"Just wait baby. We're almost there." he said.

She could feel sand on her feet now. "Open them baby." he said as she removed the blindfold slowly and looked at the view in front of her.

"Woah...Jungkook this is amazing..." she said in awe.

"But why did you bring me here?" she asked as she faced Jungkook as she was shock.

He was on one knee holding a ring. "J-Jungkook..."

"I know we were together for a week but I loved you for 3 years. I don't know when is the next time I will be able to see us together but please accept my proposal. Will you marry me?" he said as she was now crying, in happiness.

"Yes Jungkook. I'll marry and forgive you." she said as he smiled and got up as he slipped the ring on her finger.

He cupped her cheeks and kissed her. All of a sudden there were noise surprising them.

"CONGRATULATIONS TO THE NEWLY ENGAGED COUPLE!!" Jimin and Taehyung screamed in joy together as they popped the champagne bottles they had.

"Yah what's this?" Y/n asked as she looked around.

"This was Jungkook's idea Y/n-ah. We too are sorry for not defending you these past years and hope you can rest peacefully now." Jin said as she nodded with smile.

"Thank you sunbaenim." she said.

"Well let's start having fun!" Lisa said as all of them were happily together.

"I'm happy that you finally found someone that you love Y/n-shi." Lisa said as she sipped on her glass.

"Yea. But I'm happy I was able to spend this week with him. Thank you unnie for being there for me." she said as tears formed on her eyes.

"Don't thank me my baby. We will meet soon hmm?" she said as they both shared a hug.

"You guys have a few minutes left. You can say your goodbyes to her." Y/n's doctor said as Jungkook and Lisa entered.

The rest of BTS waited outside as they weren't close to her but they have apologized and wished her luck. The two entered and they both were now crying at her state. She had a mask over her and tubes in and out of her.

"Baby?" Jungkook called her as she faced him.

He immediately broke down in tears as she could barely open her eyes. "Kookie d-don't cry..." she said in a soft voice as he continued to cry.

"Y/n-ah don't l-leave us..." Lisa said crying as she rubbing Jungkook's shoulder trying to ease him.

"Shh you two. I suffered enough. I want to rest now." Y/n said as she caressed Jungkook's hair.

Lisa caressed Y/n's hair and hugged her softly. "Take care Y/n-ah. I hope we meet again." she said and pecked her forehead and left the couple alone.

"Jungkook-ah..." she called him as he faced her.

"Y-Yes baby?" he asked as she smiled in pain.

"Can you promise me something?" she asked as he nodded.

"Anything baby." he said as he wiped his tears.

"Move on from me. Don't make me be a burden to you." she said as he shook his head.

"No I won't do that. I love you and only you Y/n." he said in tears, his breathe shaking.

"I want your girlfriend or wife to take care of you. I couldn't do that for you kook-ah." she said crying.

"C-Can I suggest somethin baby?" he asked as she nodded.

"Sure." she said.

"Can I adopt a baby, under our names. Please..." he asked as she chuckled softly.

"Yes please." she said as Jungkook hugged her tightly not wanting to let her go.

"I love you Y/n."

"I love you too Jungkook."

That's when her monitor which monitored her heart slowly faded to a steady beep. Jungkook froze as he pulled away to see her eyes closed.

"Y/n? Y/n baby?" he called but her eyes were just closed, her hands still around him.

He immediately broke down, crying and screaming. He lost the love of his life in his arms. He heard the door open revealing Lisa and his friends and the doctor. Lisa went to him and helped him get up as the doctor covered Y/n's body with a cloth.

Lisa and Jungkook were crying in each other's embrace. BTS were crying as well since they knew how the younger loved her so much. This was Y/n's end.

"Eommaaa!" a young child yell as he ran to the cemetery, his father following behind her.

"Jungwoo-ah you're gonna hurt yourself." he said as he reached his son.

"Hi eomma. How are you?" he asked the tombstone.

"Appa how was eomma like?" he asked his father with a smile.

He kneeled in front of the stone as his son stood beside him.

"She was the best woman I had ever seen but she couldn't live a long life because of me. But she said I could adopt you in remembrance of her. She would happy to see you." he said.

"Appa was eomma nice?"

"She was. We should let her rest now hmm? Should we go and eat pasta now?" he asked his adopted child as he nodded.

He was about to run off as he saw his dad looking at the stone. He went to him and hugged him. He hugged him softly. He carried his 5 year old son and walked away. Without the two knowing someone was watching them as a ghost.

"I'm happy with you Jungkook..." Y/n said in a soft voice and went to her stone to sleep in peace.

I'll be lying if I said I didn't cry while typing this. I felt myself hurting but I'm glad this ended or not I'll be crying even more. Not used to sad ffs... haha
