[ Jasmine ]

"𝔗hank you for taking time out of your incredibly busy schedule to help us lowly peasants." Jasmine snarked, pushing one of her engineering projects into the back of her car as her boyfriend offered the next one. "Where have you been? I haven't seen or heard from you in three days. Three days!"

"I missed you too, Jas," Luke sighed, pushing her project gently into the car. "Look. I've been a little busy, all right?"

"Yeah, busy doing stupid shit most likely." Luke turned to look at his girlfriend, who was huffing to herself and placing another one of her inventions in the back of her car.

"Are you still annoyed about this?"

"What gave it away?" Jasmine huffed, as Luke sat in the boot of the car to watch his girlfriend pick up the reminder of her engineering projects and kit. "Was it the tone?"

"Nope." Luke shook his head. "It was the glaring and full stops at the end of your texts. That was a pretty clear idea."

"Prat." Jasmine dumped her box of gears and cogs onto Luke's lap as the boy hissed in pain. His muscles were aching, and this didn't help.

"Look, I get that you're still mad..."

"Oh do you?!" Jasmine growled, turning to glare up at the man. "I go off back into New York for all of two days! Two days! And in that time you somehow manage to betray the entirety of camp and almost kill a 12 year old for the tenth time in one summer!"

"It wasn't ten times in all fairness." He muttered.

"Not the point, Luke!" The older teenager had enough common sense to shut his mouth after that, not meeting Jasmine's glare. "You betrayed camp and in the process, betrayed me and I still can't believe you did that."

"It's not like that and you know it. We've had this conversation before," Luke replied, as Jasmine grabbed the car keys from his hand and attempted to slam the boot on his head. "Hey! Look, they don't care about any of us, and we're their children!"

"They're gods," Jasmine hissed, turning to look at Luke as he sat down in her car, doing his seatbelt up. "Would you prefer they keep coming around for afternoon tea and complain about how trash your grades are? Because I know that I wouldn't and that didn't mean that you had to poison Thalia last summer."

"Why are you still going on about this?" Luke replied, his eyes turning steely grey as he watched her. "You don't even live at camp anymore!"

"No because I can't face the guilt of lying to my siblings that I'm still seeing you," Luke raised an eyebrow. "Or the sympathetic looks I get because my boyfriend decided to betray all of them, and supposedly me, in the process!"

"Then don't see me. There's always the option of breaking up," The car went silent as the pair glared at one another, trying to let the anger simmer down.

"But if I did, who would chew you out for making stupid decisions and yell at you for poor planning and strategy?" Jasmine murmured, as Luke laughed softly, pulling her into a hug. "I'm still mad at you, you absolute moron."

"Yeah, I got that message loud and clear, Jas," He replied, pressing a kiss to her head. "But I don't want to argue with you. I don't have loads of time to spend here and I would like to spend every single minute with my girl, instead of arguing with my girl."

"I wouldn't argue with you if you didn't make such stupid ass decisions,"

"Jas..." Luke warned, as the girl sighed and struggled out of his hold, turning the car on and taking off. "It's too late now anyway. The plan is full in motion."

"I just don't want you, or anyone, to get hurt," He looked away, and Jasmine sighed, knowing that look. It meant that Luke was feeling guilty. "What foolish plan have you come up with this time?"

"Don't worry about it,"

"Now, I'm worried," He shot her a rakish grin, squeezing her thigh as she drove. "That makes everything worse."

"Focus on the road. I know I'm handsome, but our lives are slightly more important," Jasmine rolled her eyes, shaking her head.

"I will punch you."

"Sometimes I wonder if violence is your way of showing affection," Jasmine shot him another glare from the corner of her eyes. "But I love you too and you're about to miss your turning."

"Shit!"

"What would you do without me?" Luke held on to the door as they skidded, slightly, around the corner and onto another street.

"I'd be able to get home without crashing the car, for one," Luke grinned again, before Jasmine began to park by the sidewalk, grabbing the projects from the back of her car as Luke followed suit. "And I'd be able to sleep easy at night knowing that my boyfriend isn't trying to murder my siblings."

"I'm not trying to kill them, Jas," She sent him a glare, before placing the projects she was holding into his arms and opening her door. "Can you help?"

"I thought that would be an easy weight to carry," Luke turned to look at her with a raised eyebrow. "It's about as much weight as your dumbass decisions, isn't it?"

"Thanks." She began to un-stack the projects carefully, placing them down into specific places so that she'd be able to find them later. "Any of these I should be worried about?"

"What do you mean?"

"Are any of these going to go to camp and be used by others to destroy my armies?" Jasmine paused, before pulling a face and shrugging her shoulders. "No way! You'd do that to me?"

"To you? My loving boyfriend who's raising an army to overthrow the gods and my home?" Luke's eyebrow remained raised, as Jasmine turned to look at him with an innocent grin. "Absolutely."

Her grin dropped as she placed the final project away and made sure that her car was locked before closing the door again and throwing her coat over the banister.

"That's cold, Jas," Luke's arms wrapped around her waist, pulling her back into him as he pressed a kiss to her head. "But fair."

She sighed, before turning around to face him with an unamused look plastered on her face.

"I know that this situation isn't ideal," Luke sighed, reaching up to place a strand of her hair behind her ear. "But I can't do this without you by my side. I won't be able to."

"But I can't be by your side if you're going against my family,"

"I know that. But I'm too selfish to let you go," The pair sighed, before Luke leant down to kiss her forehead. "Can we just not deal with this now?"

"I'm still annoyed,"

"I know," He replied. How could Luke ever forget Jasmine's reaction when it first all happened? She had thrown no less than three spanners at his head, screamed at him to get out and then hadn't talked to him for four months. That had been a torturous time for both of them and when Luke had finally managed to find the time to slip away from the army and see her again, she slammed the door on his face.

It was only through persistence, a whole lot of apologizing and begging that Luke even managed to get her to be in the same room as him, and then even more begging, grovelling and apologizing so that they could salvage their relationship and even then, it wasn't as it once was considering they were on opposite sides of the war.

"Now that's sorted," Luke replied, his hand resting on her cheek. "Can I kiss my girlfriend?"

Hiya,

So, Jasmine and Luke are in a secret relationship and everyone thinks they've broken up, and neither really talk about their war plans. They're both funny and I really am gonna enjoy the not so fun times that Jas has to go through cause of this all, or everyone's reactions when the find out the truth but yeah.

Let me know what you think,

Love Li xx
