   EVERYONE KNEW OF THE LEGEND SURROUNDING THE CARPATHIAN MOUNTAINS IN THE WIZARDING WORLD, MORE SPECIFICALLY THE SLOVAK PART BORDERING HUNGARY. It was said that a noble family of wizards and witches, of hungarian and slovak origin, resided there for centuries, maybe even before Hogwarts itself was founded. The only scource of their existence was by the folk-tales from the tounges of the closely residing villiagers. The stories amongst the muggles painted them as the villains, making deeds with the devil and cursing their land, when in reality they were the one keeping the evil away.

The wizards and witches in those mountains lived in a castle atop of the highest peak surrounded by a dead forest with crumpling trees and bushes. The entire property was surrounded by a large metal fence with the most intricate designs and a gate that was said to reach above the heavens. That was the border of the evil. The entire surrounding forest was full of creatures that were just myths to the non magic folk, but they were all real in the wizarding world. There were dragons, gnomes, giants, wisps, vengeful spirits, nympths and so on just spending eternity in their so called cage, trying to claw their way out.

Irena Nemesnyik, the only child of the latest owners of the land, was taught the ways of the dark arts since she was a child. She knew all the evil deities that she had to watch out for and how to chain them to the mountain so they would never leave again. Her favourite study was about runes, at which she was the best at, but due to her fathers teachings she was exceptional at dueling with and without a wand. The girl was taught everything there was to know about the evil in the world and after her paranoid mothers knowledge she was ready to become the next Guardian of the Veil.

However, one day in 1942, while the muggles were fighting in the second world war and the wizarding world still being on the lookout for Grindlewald, an unexpected visitor arrived at the Nemesnyik castle. The english wizard came to propose a deal with the lord of the fortress. Irena, being sixteen at the time, tried to spy in on the secretive talk that was happening in their great hall but she was ushered away by the guards on the other side of the door. Not knowing ehat was going on had the girl questioning every possibility but what she didn't expect was her needing to pack her things as she was going to attend the infamous wizarding school in the depths of the scottish highlands.

The only thing that Dumbledore failed to do before his decision was to dive deep into the history of the House of Nemesnyik and what the fate of the wizarding world would be after bringing Irena Nemesnyik and Tom Marvolo Riddle together.

🐍 ° . ⭒ first of all I am bringing my half hungarian blood into this fic cus why not, so lemme teach ya'll how to pronounce Nemesnyik EHEM so neh-mesh-n(ew)-eek . We have a letter "ny" that I don't know how else to explain but how you say "new" but without saying the "ew". And the end sound "eek" is short so not like EEEEEK only eek. But yeah it will feature folklore from Hungary and some from Slovakia and also I am kegit bringing out my 8 years of history for this lmfao. ALSO PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS AINT GONNA BE LOVEY DOVEY. This is tom riddle we are talking about here lmfao. He is a manipulative lil bitch so mas isnt going to be the prince in shining armour😭 so yeah this book will be dark as fuck, it will be the beginning of how he became mister baldy and with the horcruxes and stuff so yeah.
