synopsis !

⠀ ⠀ BROOKE JACOBS fucking hated her family. She hated her parents. Her aunt. Her brothers. She hated the perfect facade they put on to make the whole town love them. How everybody in East Highland looked at the Jacobs family with rose-tinted glasses and admiration without the faintest idea of what they truly were like. She lived her whole life inside of a planned-from-the-day-she-was-born box. Classes, college applications, after school clubs all specially selected for her. It felt like her resume was perfectly crafted the day she started preschool.

Brooke lived her days angry at the world. Angry at the way she'd never made a decision about her future in her life. Angry because her parents had probably chosen some boring, sexist, twice-her-age businessman for her to marry when she was completely, head over heels in love with someone that checked every box in the complete fucking opposite of that category.

Maddy Perez was perfect to Brooke. She was carefree, confident. She lived for herself and didn't give a fuck what anybody else wanted from her. Just being around Maddy, absorbed into her energy, made Brooke feel like she could conquer the world. With Maddy by her side, she could do absolutely anything she wanted.

But Maddy wasn't perfect. In fact, she had one extremely major flaw. One thing keeping her and Brooke apart and the Jacobs girl couldn't wrap her head around what a girl like Maddy could possibly be doing with a flaw like that. No, it really was the worst fucking thing imaginable.

Because Maddy Perez was dating her fucking brother.

A/N;
so this is my first time writing a rather mature book, even tho i do tacke cernatin subjects like that most of the books I've written/are drafted are 15s bc we love cw ratings. that being said im kinda excited but also scared so pls bare with me, im over 18 but also dont wanna push it bc euphoria is a dark show without my writer brain trying to make it even darker by adding my own trauma to my characters

this book also goes hand in hand w my other euphoria book 'forever & always', you don't need to read it to understand this book as any crossover between the main characters will be included in both books, however to understand the character of cordelia clark, and for the rue/jules/fez and parts of cassie/lexi storyline check out that book bc this will be focusing on and for the maddy/cassie/nate storyline

also, wanna say this now not all of my characters are gonna be likeable. but that also fits w the theme of euphoria bc i think the only characters that are almost unproblematic are gia and lexi and even then they have their flaws bc this is a very raw and humanising show
