ASTRID HEARD SCUFFLING AS SHE SLOWLY WOKE FROM HER SLUMBER, rubbing her eyes with her palms, and seeing Namjoon packing his things with his toothbrush in his mouth. She yawned, watching him move before she spoke up.
"Where are you going?" She asked in a rasping tone, shifting her eyes away from his figure as she focused on getting out of bed. She pulled her duvet off the side, stretching her arms in front of her as she yawned.
"I have to go back to the studio," Namjoon answered with his mouth full of toothpaste, making her scoff, her lips pulling downwards into a frown. He then walked to the bathroom as she followed him, leaning against the doorframe with her arms crossed in front of her chest.
"Again? You've been there a lot," she whined, her lips pursed together. Walking up to him and wrapping her arms around his waist, she rested her forehead against his back. "Take a break, Joon." Namjoon sighed, his hand placed on top of hers.
"I can't. The comeback is soon and we need more songs for our upcoming album," he excused, turning around as he poked her nose. She rolled her eyes and smiled, "Just, please don't overwork yourself," She said in a soothing tone, giving him a soft smile. He returned the smile and wrapped his arms around her.
"Thank you for always looking out for me" He replied, his soft tone filling her ears, giving her a warm look. Astrid smiled and patted his arm, "Of course, I'll always look out for you."

"FUCK, JOON, DON'T SCARE ME LIKE THAT!" Astrid yelled out, her hand holding her beating heart, staring at him with raised eyebrows. The moment the female member walked inside their dorm and passed the kitchen, she almost slipped on her own feet as she noticed her leader looking at her with narrow eyes, leaning his back against the kitchen counter.
Namjoon rolled his eyes, clearly not amused. "Why didn't you text or call any of us at all today?" he asked, his voice sharp and cold. She bit her lip to prevent herself from sighing, this time not from exhaustion but from annoyance. She rubbed the back of her neck, a tight-lipped smile as she walked towards him. "I was having a good time and forgot, okay?" Astrid answered calmly, putting her purse on the table.
"I was so worried about you. You can't just walk out in the middle of an argument and then not talk to us all day." Namjoon snapped, grabbing her arm as he spun her around to face him. She froze and looked at him with wide eyes and held her breath. His flushed face and the veins throbbing in his neck made the older female look down.
"Is this a joke to you, Noona? We were worried sick and thought something happened to you!" He fumed, jaw clenched as he looked at her with anger. Astrid flinched at his tone and stepped back, still not looking at him, nervously fiddling with her bracelet. Her actions made him clench his fists, and without realizing it he stepped forward and grabbed her wrist, tightening his grip, making her hiss in pain.
"O-Ok, l-look, I'm sorry, okay?" She stuttered out, her breath quickening when he closed the distance between them. Astrid's bottom lip jutted out and she pulled away from his hard grip. "I didn't mean to make any of you worried," she whimpered, blinking away her tears.
Namjoon held both of his hands up before balling his fists and dropping them down. He closed his eyes and took deep breaths, guilt starting to wash over him. Bringing his hands to his face he started to sigh, "I'm so sorry, Ace."
Astrid's eyes softened and looked down at her feet, caressing her bruised wrist. She took hesitant movements before shifting her body to the side, finally looking at him and noticing the bag under his eyes and his bowed shoulders.
He opened his eyes and saw her holding her wrist, making his stomach twist. He gently took her hand and massaged it, "I should be the one apologizing, Joon." She spoke, her voice barely above a whisper. Swallowing a lump in her throat, she cleared her throat, "I should've called you, but I didn't and I'm-" She was cut off by Namjoon bringing her into his arms, almost squeezing her. She let out a small gasp but relaxed once he stroked her back, letting her body melt into his.
"It's okay. It was a stupid fight anyway," He interrupted with a deep chuckle, and gave her an apologetic smile.
She agreed, closing her eyes as she hid her face into his neck, feeling his warmth. "I don't deserve you, Joon."
