aaaaaa i've been wanting to draw a chinese goddess for a while now so here's Kuan Yin! Also ignore my sloppy ass mandarin handwriting- it's been a while

She's the goddess of mercy and compassion and actually a prominent figure in Chinese Buddhism. Personally i dont consider myself a buddhist, my parents are tho so thats how i heard of her. From what i've heard she's seen as the manifestation of love, compassion and salvation :D

also the smol letters on her fan? that's "mercy" in chinese hehe, just wanted to add a little detail cuz im quirky and relatable
