ANDROMEDA WAS GETTING FED UP WITH WHAT SHE CALLED 'THE IDIOTS'. But these idiots were more commonly known as Thor and Loki. They, along with a group of 'superheroes' on Midgard known as the Avengers, had caused her more hassle in the last few years than in her 1,000 years of existence. From stealing her stones to misusing and tampering with them, the constant fights and arguments that occurred was draining both physically and emotionally.

But it was Loki that annoyed her the most. He was usually the being behind the issues that occurred with her stones. First, he aided the Frost Giants in stealing the misusing her father's Casket of Ancient Winters. Then, he steals the Mind Stone and uses it for ill intent. Then, he steals the Space Stone to allow an alien army to destroy New York. And after two deaths, he was back once again, after pretending to be his father and leading Asgard in his place.

Andromeda was trying her hardest to get rid of the troublesome duo, but one way or another, they always managed to weasel their way back into her schedule. And this was the predicament she found herself in currently.

Every two years, to keep the peace, Andromeda would visit Sakaar to watch the Grandmaster's grotesque Contest of Champions. She hated the display of violence, which usually ending in death and a fit of belly-laughs from the Grandmaster himself. Andromeda didn't hate the Grandmaster, rather the two were quite close friends. That's why she would consistently go to visit him without fail, even if she found his fascination in cage-fighting repulsive.

She wasn't expecting anything from her usual visit. The tiresome endeavour to appear happy as she watched one creature tear another apart from the luxuries of the Grandmaster's viewing box. What she wasn't expecting was the all too familiar raven locks and black and green attair.

Her personal guards, Jinx and Janus, rolled their eyes as they spotted the back of the God of Mischief's head sat a few meters away from the Grandmaster on the long, white sofa. Andromeda copied their actions, her bright blue eyes rolling to the back of head with a sigh. Her silver -glittered eyelids shimmering under the yellowish light of the room. Her long gold and silver dress hugged her frame as she walked closer to the sofa the two men were seated upon. The Grandmaster, seeming to sense her presence, turned her head to look over his shoulder. A large grin spread across his tanned face, the neon blue stripe the ran down from his bottom lip to the underneath of his chin stretching with his skin. He stood up swiftly, his hands gesturing out towards her, his cyan painted nails catching her eyes immediately, making her smile.

"Andy, darling! You're, uh, you're late!" The Grandmaster announced, stepping around the couch and extending his arms out to the shorter blonde goddess. The two hugged, both with contagious grins.

"Dreadfully sorry, my love, just had a little duty to deal with. The fight hasn't started yet, has it?"

The Grandmaster grinned and shook his head. "N-no, not yet, uh, I haven't made the... the announcement yet," he smiled after his fumbling. "The fight should start in about, uh, 10 minutes."

Andromeda put on a smile, conjuring as much enthusiasm as she could muster. "Brilliant," The Grandmaster grinned and excused himself. Her gaze followed to Loki who had now stood up and faced her. His face was nervous for a brief second before he smiled, his nerves seeping through the smile lines on his face. Andromeda excised the Hod twins who reluctantly walked away from the two gods. "Loki. You're alive."

The dark haired God's smile fell slightly. "Andy, could we speak in private."

Andromeda pushed Loki against a wall with a glare. "I watched you die," she sneered, her face a few centimetres away from his. Her bright orbs pierced through his own, as if stabbing daggers right into his soul. Loki smirked with a shrug. "Again," she added after a brief pause.

"Did you mourn for me?" Loki asked, pausing as she did. "Again?"

Andromeda waved her hand, a gold mist wafting around her open palm to reveal a dagger in the same colour. She pressed the Sid elf the blade to his throat causing his to gulp. She tilted her head to the side with a smile. "Afraid of death suddenly? After faking it for so long, I figured you would've embraced it by now."

Loki chuckled. "You wouldn't kill me, Andy. We both have bigger enemies in the universe."

Andromeda furrowed her brow, the grip on her dagger loosened enough for it to disappear into a cloud of gold magic. Loki sighed, rubbing his throat where the blunt blade roughly dug in. "What are you not telling me? You make it sound as if you know there will be a battle and I'll be involved. Again."

Loki rolled his eyes at her consistently reminding him that she had always been dragged into a fight, even if it wasn't her own. And it was usually his doing. Choosing not to engage, he decided to simply tell the Goddess of Infinity the threat that Asgard faced. "It's my sisters—"

"You have a sister?" Andromeda immediately interrupted, stunned that she never knew of the goddess' existence.

Loki nodded. "Her name is Hela. Goddess of Death. She destroyed Thor's hammer and means to rule over Asgard," He knew it had nothing to do with her in the slightest. Andromeda hasn't Asgardian, she hadn't married into the royal family; she had her own kingdom to rule, her own people to govern — the people of Asgard were none of her concern. But he also knew that Andromeda was a softie when it came to the defenceless, and that's exactly what Loki, Thor and the people of Asgard were currently. For a second he doubted himself as he studied her face, scrunching up in thought. Thinking this would've come better from Thor — with him, she wouldn't have pushed him against a wall and threatened to kill him after a few minutes of reuniting.

"And where's Odin?" Andromeda asked, taking a step back from him. Her body still tense, as if ready to defend in case Loki hadn't changed after so long.

"Dead."

Andromeda's eyes widened. "The Allfather is dead?!" She exclaimed. Loki whacked a hand over her mouth, shushing her. With a glare from her, he quickly removed his hand. "You did it, didn't you?"

Loki cringed, his head tilting back in despair. "I didn't think exiling him would've caused all this," Andromeda pinched the bridge of her nose. "How was I supposed to possibly know that exiling Odin would cause him to die, and then release Hela from Hel? I can't predict the future. I'm not a witch," Andromeda went to speak but Loki beat her to it. "If your next words are why do you dress one Thor has already beaten you to it,"

Andromeda groaned, particularly from the joke that the past Thor had ripped from her and particularly due to Loki's idiocy. "You are such an incompetent, arrogant, power-hungry, disrespectful, puny—" Before she could finish her long list of hurtful adjectives to describe how she felt about Loki in that very moment, she felt a pressure on her lips.

She quickly recognised the feeling to be lips on her own and her eyes flashed open in surprise. Her eyes could just adjust to the sight of black hair, pale skin and black and green cladded arms reaching up to cup her face. For the first time in what felt like a century, Andromeda was frozen. There was no thoughts running through her head, no hesitation to pull away or urge push forward. She just stood statically.

Loki eventually pulled away with a semi-worried expression. Andromeda was about to ask why he did such a thing, but she caught his eyes darting over to the right. Following his direction, her head turned to see a smirking Grandmaster leaning against the doorframe to the viewing room. "Well, uh, you two lovebirds nearly done here. The, the, uh, fight is about to begin," he fumbled with a sly grin before walking back into the room.

Loki was about to follow suit but Andromeda stopped him. He hasn't sure what he was expecting. Another kiss? A confrontation?

On the contrary, in fact, he was greeted with a hard slap across the cheek. Loki cupped the stinging cheek with a gapped expression, as he turned to a fuming Andromeda. "Don't you ever shut me up like that again. It's rude and disrespectful."

Without another word, Andromeda held her head high as she gracefully walked back into the viewing room and sat in the middle of the long sofa, the Grandmaster to her right, leaving the seat to her left to be his. He followed after her like a kicked puppy, his left cheek a searing red in colour, causing Jinx and Janus (who stood behind Andromeda on the couch) to snicker silently.

It was the final battle. The 'Revengers' (as Thor had named them) versus Hela. Their team consisted of Andromeda, Thor, Valkyrie, Bruce Banner and the Hod Twins. After another classic betrayal from Loki that Thor successfully stopped, the team were finding it difficult to keep the Asgardians save with a smaller than desired ship as well as fight off all the hellish monsters of Hela's army. She hated to admit it, but they needed Loki more than ever — he was always one step ahead.

Furiously, Andromeda slashed her way through countless of demons to come face to face with the Goddess of Death herself. "Ah, Andromeda Ymirdottir, what an honour. It'll be even bette when I kill you myself," Hela snickered, her hands extending by her hips so two long, dark daggers extended from her palms. Andromeda tilted her head to the right with a determined stare, mimicking her actions and drawing to golden daggers from her hands. The two gods smiled evilly at each other before lunging. Hela was the first to move. A swift whoosh of her blade that Andromeda dodged. A kick to Hela's gut send her stumbled back, giving Andromeda to twist her dagger between her fingers and swish down to stab her back. But Hela was quicker. She stood up and gripped Andromeda's neck tightly, causing the blonde to gasp to air, her daggers disappearing with the lack of concentration. Her now-free hands crawled at Hela's death grip around her neck, desperate to remove the demon's claws from her skin. Hela smirked. "Not so tough now, are you?"

Using her super strength, Hela jumped as high as possible, landing on a balcony in the Asgardian's palace, bringing Andromeda with her, her grip still unwavering from the shorter woman's neck. With every second, Andromeda could feel herself get weaker with the lack of air reaching her lungs, to the point where would at the very least pass out, or worse, die. At the hands of the Goddess of Death, her demise seemed more and more likely. Hela pushed Andromeda down so her back would hit the stone edge of the balcony, her short blonde locks catching onto the light breeze as they feel over the side. "Pathetic," Hela sneered. "God of Everything can't even save herself," she laughed. "How very ironic."

Andromeda gasped for air as Hela finally flung her over the edge, her weak body falling quickly to the hard, unwelcoming ground below. The ground that was calling her name, begging her for release. Her eyes shut as she neared the stoned floor but the impact that occurred as nothing like she expected. She imagined hitting concrete from a tall height would hurt, she thought she would've heard some sort of sickly crack of bones right before the life was ripped from her.

But no, instead she was met with two warm and welcoming arms, cradling her to a chest. The smell of musky leather filled her nose as her head tucked itself to her chest. She opened her eyes, expecting Thor, Janus, Jinx, Bruce or Valkyrie to be her saviour, but rather her guardian angel came in the form of a twice-dead man. "Hello, darling," Loki smiled, still holding onto her for dear life. "Miss me?"

Andromeda breathed out a laugh. "I knew you'd come around, you incompetent, arrogant, power-hungry, disrespectful, puny—"

"Don't make me shut you up again," Loki warned.

Andromeda laughed. "Perhaps this time, I'll allow it."

Loki's eyes widened with pleasant surprise. "Guess you really did fall for me."
