003. | "the helpless body of Elle Harper"

The nighttime was dark at Camp Hollow, everything was calm and peaceful as Raven Smith was layed out on the top bunk in their cabin they stayed in.

They were reading a book like usual, Raven always read books no matter what was going on in their life, they always chose books over most things in life.

Raven was the only one in the cabin, when there was a crackling sound outside the cabin as Raven was a little concerned they opened the blinds a bit but was relieved when it was just, all the campers and counselors sitting around the fire.

" phew " Raven turned their head back and began to read again hearing them all laughing and talking around the fire.

Raven looked up when they heard the door handle begin to rattle a bit, then suddenly the door opened and the room was dark so all Raven could see was the silhouette of a tall person.

In panic Raven grabbed their hard chapter book and slammed the book against the persons head, " ow what the fuck! " the person fell down onto the ground as Raven quickly turned the light on.

There sat a young Sirius Black holding their head in pain after being slapped with a chapter book, " omg I'm so sorry! " Raven moved up and hopped off the bunk bed.

" Jesus cris might as well knocked the rest of my brain cells out! " they layed their head back as Raven sat down next to them.

" look I thought you were a killer! " Raven put their arms up in defense, " a what-?! " Sirius looked at them confused now and pointed to the cooler next to Raven, " ice pack " .

" a killer! " Raven opened the cooler and tossed an ice pack back at them, " that's funny! " Sirius began laughing as they placed the ice pack against their head and winced at the pain.

" what you could have been! " Raven slapped the back of their head, as Sirius shot a death stare at them while holding the ice pack on their head.

" you've been watching to much horror movies clearly Raven! " Sirius joked around as Raven shoved their shoulder playfully, " I'm not joking! Ya never know what could happen! " .

" true " Sirius began to get up still using the ice pack, " so why are you here? " Raven got up putting on a red sweater and zipped up the front of it pulling the hood over their head.

" to come get you? " Sirius looked confused for a while, " your the only weirdo here that's all alone in the dark reading a book! " They pointed towards the campfire.

" not my fault I like reading! " Raven smiled and tossed the book back onto the bed they picked up, " you're probably to dumb to read! " they watched as Sirius turned back around and looked really offended as they placed their chest.

" that is so rude! " Sirius grabbed her hand, " are you kidnapping me now?! " Raven nearly tripped going down the stairs as the cabin doors closed behind them going towards the campfire.

" maybe , maybe not " Sirius walked them over to the campire area, " asshole " Raven mumbled as they let go of each others hand and stopped at the campfire.

" what happened?! " Alice stared at Sirius as they still had that same ice pack on their head, " oh Raven slapped me in the head with a book " Sirius said as if it was a normal thing.

Rihanna looked over at her sister embarrassed, " what! " Raven noticed the look she was giving, " you slapped Sirius with a book!? " Rihanna had her mouth open in shock.

" I thought they were gonna kill me! " Raven raised their hands up again in self Defense, " you're insane dude! " James laughed as he began to eat some marshmallows.

" self defense people! " Raven sat down on the log as Sirius sat down next to Raven taking a marshmallow from James's hand and eating it.

" hey! I was gonna eat that! " James complained as everyone laughed at him, they all ate marshmallows, got to know eachother.

They stayed warm around the fire as they told jokes and told spooky stories to eachother, " anyone know where Elle went? " Kiara came walking back from the bathrooms.

Raven looked around realizing James and Cassie were gone as well as they noticed Mattheo walking back smoking a cigarette.

" haven't seen her why? " he tossed it into the fire with a half smile on his face as everyone looked around, " maybe she's looking for stuff " Rihanna smiled as she held her hand out for Kiara to take.

Kiara held her hand as she was helped to step over the log and sat down next to Rihanna, " she'll be back don't worry " Raven reassured the red head.

" James and Cassie are gone to " Thomas tossed a stick into the fire to heat the fire up more, " usually Cassie tells me where she goes " Thomas looked around the camp a bit but sat back down.

" weird.. " Raven gave a strange face as they were suspicious now, Cassie always seemed a bit weird since the time they met her.

The group looked up when they heard random whistling sounds and then a few had jumped when they heard a slight scream coming from a cabin near the washrooms.

" that was Elle! " Kiara jumped up off of the log she had sat on, the group quickly ran towards where the screaming had come from...

This is Raven Smith, Ivy Jones, Alice Cooper and Elle Harpers cabin, that they heard the screams of Elle Harper come from...

" Elle? " Kiara began to open the door as Riley stood right beside Kiara in case something happened, she opened the door.

The group walked into the cabin individually slowly as Kiara covered her mouth in shock..

" ELLE! " Alice saw the brunettes helpless body covered in blood laying on the cold cabin floor, blood was spilled all over the floor.

Kiara fell down onto their knees in front of Elle as she had tears falling down their cheeks, " w-what happened.. " she held Elle's helpless body in her arms as she cried more.

Raven covered her mouth still shocked from everything that happened, was it a killer? Did Elle do this to herself, was it all just a freak accident that nobody knew about.

Rihanna was hugging Riley, her face was facing Riley's chest so she didn't have to see everything that happened anymore.

Alice crouched down on the floor next to Kiara she was also filled with tears in her eyes as she gave Kiara a hug to try and comfort them.

Ivy Jones looked like she didn't care or anything but on the inside Ivy's heart shattered she knew Elle since grade 2, even if they weren't as close as they used to be Ivy was hurting on the inside.

Riley was trying to hold back tears as he was hugging Rihanna close to him comforting her.

He closed his eyes he couldn't look at Elle's body anymore that was still in Kiara's arms, Thomas bent down next to Kiara to try and help her get through this time.

" hey look at me " Thomas watched as Kiara looked over at him crying lots and lots, " it's gonna be okay.. " He looked back at the door as Mattheo and Sirius walked into the cabin.

" no it's not.. " Kiara mumbled under her breath, " no sign of anyone who could have done this " Mattheo rested against the cabin with his head down low ashamed of everything.

Sirius walked over to Raven and gave them a big hug as they hugged for a little while.

Suddenly they heard running towards the cabin, in alert they all turned around and saw Cassie Lee running towards them with was seemed to have been blood on her shirt, " guys James just tried to kill me over there! " Cassie panicked.

In a rush panic, Riley pulled Cassie into the cabin and Thomas walked over and hugged her, " are you hurt at all? " Thomas checked her as she shook her head.

" who's blood is this then? " Thomas looked at her confused, " I don't know he had like blood on his hands already along with a bloody knife. " Cassie panicked as she looked and saw Elle.

" omg Elle! " Cassie pointed at her and began to cry, the look Raven was giving was a confused look Cassie didn't seem to care for anyone before and that cry she had seemed like to much.

" James murdered her! " Cassie blurted out as everyone looked at her now all interested, " James murdered her...? " Kiara looked at the phone on the table.

Mattheo quickly ran over and grabbed the phone dialing 911 , " 911 what's your emergency? " the operator spoke, " Camp Hollow, a girl has been murdered and we got a suspect, his name is James Prescott brown hair a blue scarf, a red flannel and an orange shirt with blue Jean shorts" Mattheo spoke.

" okay, stay calm we're sending people there now for you " the operator spoke as Mattheo hung up, " there on their way now " Mattheo spoke more.

Suddenly James came running out of breath blood covered his hands and he had a knife cut across the top part of his right cheek, " guys, someone just tried to kill me! " James looked at them all as they all stepped back away from him.

" stay away James " Riley pushed Rhianna back behind himself as James looked at them all confused and at the blood on his hands.

" guys I didn't do anything! " James looked back when he saw Thomas holding Elle's helpless body in his arms while standing up as Kiara was crying next to him.

" Is that Elle? " James pointed at Thomas holding Elle, " don't act stupid James " Cassie spoke out loud, " we all know you killed Elle! " Kiara yelled at him as their voice broke.

" the police are on their way! " Mattheo yelled at him, " guys wait.. no come on guys you can't just do this to me! " James was on the edge of crying.

" we're all supposed to be bestfriends, cmon now you guys should trust me..! " James looked back when he saw police driving into the camp.

" I'm sorry James.. " Riley watched as police walked over and began to handcuff his bestfriend and take him towards the police car.

As James was put in the police car and driven away for investigating, the ambulance arrived and had taken Elle away for a memorial sometime next week for them.

Raven watched as they all drove away, Raven looked over as the rest of their friends began walking back to the camp fire.

Raven also looked over and noticed a small smirk Cassie had formed on her lips as if she were proud or has done something wrong.

" Cassie? " Raven looked at her, " yes Raven? " Cassie looked over with a smile now, " where were you when Elle was murdered? " Raven stared at her now as Cassie looked a little nervous now by the question.

" oh I was, I don't know , I was I think using the bathrooms right across from camp " Cassie smiled and walked away, " such a shame tho, I really loved Elle she was sweet " Cassie smirked.
