{ "I swear to god JJ if Rafe and those guys don't kill you tonight, then so help me i'll do it myself." }

"I'm so glad that we're still doing this." Kiara smiled happily, holding a bag on her shoulder, Star walking next to her and JJ and Pope walking close behind holding a cooler and a chair.

"Keep calm. Carry on." Star chuckled at her friend. "Back to OBX life. You know?" she turned to her three friends "Aren't you glad i made you come?"

"Ecstatic." Pope groaned sarcastically, placing a beach chair on the grass.

"My couch was pretty comfy, i'll be honest." JJ mumbled.

"Oh yeah." Star raised her eyebrows, plopping her bag filled with alcohol on the ground "Who would wanna spend their Friday night watching some old black and white movie instead of drinking their soul away on the beach?" she smiled sarcastically.

Kiara rolled her eyes at her friend's comments "I'm gonna get a drink." Kiara told them "You guys want anything?"

"Nah i got stuff in my bag up i'll come with you." Star said, leaving the two boys to talk amongst themselves.

"Hey." Kiara greeted the man "Can i get two pepsis please?" she went to pull out some money.

"I don't understand why you guys hate coming to these things?" Kiara asked the girl beside her, smiling at all the happy and familiar faces.

Before Star could answer a familiar voice shouted the girls name, only to be met with Rafe Cameron walking towards them:

"That's why." She nodded towards the boy.

"Hey what's up?" he asked coming up behind the girls as Kiara took both drinks off the man "How are you?" he asked Star.

"We're fine." Kiara stated in an unbothered tone, answering for her friend.

"Good, good." he looked down before looking between the two "Tell your boy, that we know what he did."

"I'm sorry." Kiara foreword her eyebrows in confusion "What boy are you talking about?"

"Oh, he'll know." He stared at the girl with no emotion.

"Fuck off Rafe." Star stated, pushing Kiara lightly to walk away."

Rafe smiled at Star "See ya later Princess!"

Kiara noticed the girls jaw tighten and roll her eyes, becoming uncomfortable "Hey." she got her friends attention "Just ignore him okay?"

"Just saw Rafe" Kiara told JJ and Pope, handing them both a drink as Star star down, huffing and crossing her arms as she did so "And he said, and i quote 'tell your boy that we know what he did.' what is that?"

"Umm." JJ and Pope looked around frantically "Where is he?"

"Over there." Star mumbled, not even bothering to look when she pointed a finger behind her.

JJ's head wiped round and Pope practically broke his back with how fast he looked behind him, spotting Rafe, Topper and Kelce looking at them.

"Great" Pope huffed "The whole death squad."

"Don't stare Bro." JJ slapped the boys head, pushing it around to look in front "Just warning you bro." JJ mumbled to Pope "If they corner me, i'm coming out swinging okay? slice and dicin'." Pope nodded his head, agreeeing with every word "I'm on edge right now."

Kiara glanced at the girl beside her as the boy mumbled between them, face covered with confusion, Star's eyebrow raised and she shrugged her shoulders.

"I'm sorry, JJ..." Kiara bit her lip, trying to hold back her anger "Please tell me that you did not being a gun here?"

"What!?" Star butted in, throwing herself over Kie's lap to get closer to the blonde, keeping her voice low "JJ, there are kids!" she scolded him.

"So, you brought alcohol!" JJ defended himself.

"Star?" Kira sipped her head round to the girl.

"Oh my god." She threw her hand up in the air "Who gives a fuck, we're not talking about me we're talking about you..."

"Okay, no Star i did not bring the gun." He spoke quickly "Everything's fine, okay?"

Star shook her head as both her and Kiara sat back in their chairs "Oh wow, thank you." Kira held her head "That's really convincing. Love that JJ." The curly haired girl said sarcastically.

JJ only clenched his jaw and looked away from the two girls who had now lent closer.

"Found principle you guys." Kiara said "No secrets amongst Pogues."

"Yeah." Star spoke up "And in other words, what the fuck did you do?" she told both boys as if she was their mother.

Star was normally never the one to get serious, but when Rafe Cameron and JJ were involved in something together, god could she only imagine the worst.

"Guys." Pope leaned forward "It might go down tonight."

Both girls look at each other with rage and confusion "What does that mean?" Kiara asked. "It might go down tonight. What did y'all do?"

Star watched as JJ whispered something to Pope, nor her or Kiara could hear but Star saw the boys lips moving. Her jaw clenched in anger, seeing as though the boys were hiding something, JJ was hiding something from her.

"I swear to god JJ." Star lent forward, her voice low "If Rafe and those guys don't kill you tonight, then so help me i'll do it myself." she glared into his eyes for a couple of seconds before leaning back in her chair, crossing her arms and looking ahead as the movie was about to start.

The movie had now been playing for about 20 minutes, the sun set, Star down two cans of cocktails and one cup of vodka red bull , and man did she need to pee.

She had been trying to hold it in for about 10 minutes now, afraid to go incase Rafe kidnapped her or some shit, but she couldn't hold it anymore.

"Kie." Star whispered, bouncing her knee up and down, she got no response "Kiara?" she whispered a bit louder.

"What?" the girl turned to her, but before Star could speak JJ and Pope had stood up.

"Where y'all going?" Kiara asked.

"We gotta wring it out." JJ replied.

Star's eyes suddenly widened in relief, and before she could stop herself she probably asked the most stupid question a girl could ever ask her guy friend.

"Can i come?" she asked, her leg still bouncing "I've been busting for like 10 minutes."

Both boys looked at each other in confusion "What?" JJ asked in shock "But we're going behind there." he pointed to the screen were a couple trees and bushes where.

"I don't care, just please!?" she bounced both legs vigorously "I won't look, i'll go behind a bush" she listed "Just please, i'm about to piss myself."

"Alright" JJ huffed "Come on." he held his hand out towards her, Star stood up and stepped over Kiara's legs, reaching out for JJ's hand who led her through the people.

"You gonna hold it for them?" Kiara pretty much asked herself as Star couldn't hear.

The three of them snuck around all the people, JJ ducking in front holding Star's hand, Pope ducking at the back and Star particle pushing JJ to go faster.

"Come on Jay." she pleaded, pushing the boys back, almost causing him to trip.

"I'm going as fast as i can!" the blonde whispered back, now letting go of the girls hand as they made it to the spot.

Star sprinted away from the boys, jumping behind a bush and making sure to look away, but hearing their conversation.

"This feels so good..." Pope said to JJ.

"Oh yeah?" JJ chuckled "Try tickling your pickle for the first time."

"It feels better than a blowjob." Pope admitted.

Star's laugh could be heard from behind the bush "Yeah, cause you know what that feels like." she laughed.

"Shut up Star!" Pope defended "Fine, it feels better than what i imagine a blowjob would feel like."

"Is it safe to come out?" Star asked as she was done with her business but didn't want to be scarred for the rest of her life.

"No." JJ replied "Hurry up Pope." she told the boy who was still pissing.

"You bring the peace maker?" Pope asked.

"Oh shit i forgot it." JJ scratched the back of his neck.

"Dude.."

"Hurry up!" JJ interrupted Pope.

Star peaked her head out of the bush only to see the one person she didn't want to.

"What's up Pogues." Rafe walked towards JJ and Pope, pushing them to walk backwards, and from the other side Topper and Kelce appeared.

Star starred in horror as Topper shouted at Pope about his boat, she didn't know what to do, but luckily she had gone unseen by the Kook boys.

She couldn't quite hear some of the words they were saying as they were further away and mumbling. When out of nowhere Pope head butted Topper.

"Yeah Pope!" she screamed, quickly covering her mounth once she did so.

She gasped as she watched JJ punch the boys over and over again when suddenly Kelce held JJ in place as Rafe punched the blonde in the stomach repeatedly.

And just before he could land another punch Star had srinted over to the Kook boy, and without a second thought jumped straight onto Rafe's back, hitting him, strangling, pulling at his hair anything she could think of.

"Star!" JJ shouted, trying to get out of Kelce's grip, watching as the girl attacked Rafe from on top of his back as he tried to fling the girl off him.

"You dumb fuck!" Star shouted, doing everything in her power to hurt him.

Suddenly she ended up off the ground with a hard thud. She groaned in pain, opening her eyes only to she had the boy above her.

"Stay outta this Star!" Rafe shouted, going back to punch JJ.

"Stop it!" she shouted, coming back to her feet as she went up behind Rafe and as she tried to grab him his elbow ended up right in her face, causing her lip and mouth to bleed.

She gasped at the pain as she was almost sent back on to the ground.

"Rafe!" she tired to get the Kook's attention "Get off him!" she shouted and once again jumped onto his back, something she shouldn't of done.

"Fuck sake Star!" Rafe shouted, having enough of her as he tried to hold the girl down by her arms
"You gotta stop trying to protect your boy Princess." the words that came out the Kook's mouth made JJ furious.

"Get off her man!" JJ yelled, trying to break free from the Kook who held him back who wanted nothing more than to punched him repeatedly.

"I don't wanna hurt you Star." Rafe warned the girl, holding her down as she clawed at his face.

"Get the fuck off me you dick!" Star struggled against the boys grip, his fingers digging into her arms, probably leaving bruises.

She could hear the boys shouts, JJ being held back by Kelce, and Topper who proceeded to beat up Pope. God she should have gone and got proper help instead of running in herself.

"Now that's not nice is it?" he chuckled, now swinging his right leg over her body so that he now straddled her, keeping most of his body weight off her.

And before he could go any further Star spat blood right on the Kook's face.

Rafe backed away, his mouth wide in shock as he wiped the blood off his check "You bitch." a hard slap landed on the girls face "You gotta stay outta shit like this!"

"No!" she shouted, struggling against his stronger and much harder grip "Stop it!" she groaned, trying to get away as he began to try and get her off the ground.

"Get off her!" JJ shouted once again, clawing away from Kelce."

"I told you i didn't wanna hurt you." another hard slap landed on her cheek as scream could be heard from JJ "Bit you always gotta fuck shit up huh?" He managed to get the girl on to her feet, picking her up in the air.

Luckily Kiara came to the rescue, she ran over to Topper, hitting him with her bag and shouting at him to get away from Pope, Star still going unseen by the girl as Rafe dragged her away.

She didn't know what Rafe was going to do with her, she watched as JJ clawed away, trying to get to her but soon ending up in another fist fight with Kelce, still not being able to get to his girl.

"Star!" JJ shouted, trying to once again run over to her but being blocked by Kelce landing a punch right on the blondes face.

She watched as Pope got punched repeatedly by Topper, Kiara on Topper's back, hitting him only to get thrown off. All of them getting smaller and smaller the more Rafe tried to pull her away from the scene.

"Kiara!" Star screamed, quickly being shushed by Rafe.

"I'm not gonna hurt you Princess." Rafe mumbled, she didn't know if he was telling the truth or not.

"Rafe." she pleaded, trying to stop the tears from pouring down her face "Please." she struggled against his strong grip.

"It's okay." he shushed her "I'm not gonna hurt you, i promise."

She didn't know what he was doing, he said he wouldn't hurt her but then slapped her and proceeded to try and drag her away.

They hadn't gone far, only a couple feet as she tired her hardest to pull away, kicking and clawing at him.

Just as the boy had picked her off the ground, trying to put her over his shoulder a hard punch landed right on his jaw.

JJ had managed to get away from the fright and sprint over to Rafe and Star without a second thought.

He punched the boy, being carful not to harm Star as Rafe quickly let go of the girl, chucking her away which caused her fall onto the ground as JJ tackled Rafe to the ground, hovering over him and punching his face repeatedly.

Before he could do anymore damage the movie screen had went up in flames.

Kiara screamed at the boys to get off Pope, JJ did stop his punches.

"JJ!" Star shouted, trying to get the boys attention. "JJ stop!"

He heard her voice, looking back to see the fire and let go of Rafe's shirt, thumbing his head on the ground.

"Don't fucking touch her again!" He stood up, rage filling his blood. And before Rafe or him could do anything else Topper pulled the boy away.

"Rafe!" Topper shouted "Come on!" Topper quickly dragged him with away.

"JJ!" Star shouted, trying to get to her feet as she saw the blonde hunched over, blood dripping from his mouth.

JJ saw the girl trying to get to her feet, he quickly ran over to her, crouching down and cupping her face, not caring about himself only her "You okay?" he asked, seeing the red mark on her check and bleeding lip.

She shook her head, it should be him he cared about not her, she was fine.

"I'm fine." she gently pushing his hands away so she could hold his face, checking it for bruises and cuts, which he had a lot of.

She stared into his eyes, his right one slightly bruised, his right check bone purple and his lip bleeding.

Her finger grazed across his cut lip ever so gently, wiping away the blood as her eyes stayed put on his.

JJ stared into her eyes, his breath quickened and his heart beating at a fast pace.

Star didn't pay attention to where Kiara and Pope were, she just got lost in JJ's eyes and without a second thought, her lips smashed onto his.

JJ's eyes widened in shock as her lips touched his. He was taken back at first but in no time melted into the kiss.

His hands going on the back of her neck, pulling her in gently. He didn't care who was watching, the whole world had just seemed to stop in that very moment, just JJ and Star.

Star couldn't even believe what she had done, but she didn't care. The whole world around her had stopped the moment her lips touched his and she didn't want it to stop.

She slowly pulled away, her eyes closed as she rested her forehead on his, steading her breathing before slowly opening her eyes.

JJ's eyes met her's, saying he was shocked was an understatement.

Suddenly her eyes widened, realising what she had done "I'm sorry." Star quickly pulled away, now regretting the kiss.

She didn't even know why she kissed him but she did, but she now regretted it, worrying that JJ would too.

JJ cleared his throat as both teens stood up, backing away from each other ever so slightly. Luckily Kiara and Pope were no longer in sight.

"It's...it's okay." he scratched the back of his neck nervously, taking glances at the panicked girl.

"I umm.." she paused, trying to not look at the boy "I gotta get home." she rubbed the back of her neck.

"Yeah." JJ nodded "You want me to walk you?" he asked before he could even think.

"No!" she quickly replied "no, i-its okay i'll walk." she smiled nervously as she began walking away from the blonde until she was no longer in sight.

JJ stood there, not caring about the burning fire behind him. He was scared, Star had just kissed him, he didn't kiss her, she made the first move, yet she seemed to regret it.

JJ didn't regret it, he's been wanting to do that for years. But what was going to happened between them now. Did it even mean anything to her, or was it just a spur of the moment thing.

Star walked home that night scared out of her mind. She had just kissed her best friend of 8 years. She didn't know why she did it but she did, and now she regretted it.

Not so much the kiss, more so because she was now terrified about what JJ now thought, terrified what she now thought. She didn't like JJ, she never had. So why, why on gods earth did she kiss him, and what would happen to them.

Umm so that just happened! i was so not planing on having them kiss in this chapter but as i was wringing it just popped into my head and started flowing out onto the computer.

I was also reluctant on publishing this with this kiss (i was tempted to take it out) so i really hope i made the right choice and writing it in?
